BEFORE: Lioness Alpha Jessica Lowndes returns to the ring after losing the JMD title to Mia Khalifa and she hasn't exactly settled for a second tier opponent as she closes in on the one hundred fight milestone. Cierra Ramirez is better than her record indicates and offers that trademark Latin edge which is always helpful in the ring.
Jessica Lowndes wears a blue & pink floral bikini set & black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. Cierra Ramirez wears a yellow bikini set & yellow gloves. Long black hair tied in a braid. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.
Round 1:
Cierra doesn't waste any time to come out swinging but she gets beaten for the initial punch and has to soak up a heavy jabbing rush up the middle as Jessica is more than ready to follow the slugging plan. This approach triggers a back & forth tussle in the center of the ring that raises the noise inside the arena which only gets louder when Jessica nails the smaller brunette across the lips and wobbles her backwards. Cierra tries to swing from the back foot but has to account for the inferior reach and gets outboxed in the hole while Lowndes gradually pushes her onto the ropes and clobbers her behind a tight earmuff come the bell.
Rounds 2 & 3:
Cierra finds her response thumping the Canadian actress to the body and she settles down in the close range stance to give the Lioness stunner plenty to embrace during the next couple of rounds. Jessica is always fine with the aggressive test but Ramirez glues her mitts in relentless fashion and gives the older brunette a solid beating around the ribcage. Ugh. Even an elite veteran like Lowndes feels the heat when being handed one and she has to bails out of the phone booth which only fuels the singer's pursuit. Cierra flies in with more shots both high & low and outworks the reeling actress wholesale which makes LCA coach Eva Mendes extremely upset during the interval.
Round 4:
Jessica still can't shake the pesky Latina off and Cierra keeps dominating the close range exchanges, she sticks it right up the Lowndes gut but doesn't quite lace out for the vintage liver shot which allows the Canadian to stay in the fight thereafter. While Ramirez remains the more agile & effective of the two, she doesn't really punish her foe beyond the excessive patches around her waist. Someone who held multiple JMD titles in her career is more than used to such treatment so Lowndes shows no signs of panic as Cierra scrubs off another round on points through shear work rate more than anything else.
Round 5:
Pain factor kicks in and it's Jessica who lands the heavy blows; she drills an overhand series to finally knock the supreme leather into the Latina's face and takes it from there rattling Cierra's head back & forth until she breaks the younger brunette into loud spasms. Ugh! That comes as a surprise but suddenly there's a nasty gash across Ramirez's nose and she strumbles over her own feet trying to adjust her stance. Lowndes duly rocks her with a high-heater and clobbers her butt-in-ropes in short order. All-in for the Lioness Alpha who finds her hot spot and lets Cierra have it... more blood is spilled from the damaged nose but the pesky Latina hangs on all the way until the bell... barely... she sinks on jelly knees gasping for air and looks more than lost staring down at the canvas.
Round 6:
Cierra still looks shaken up as she rises for the next round and Jessica mauls her up the middle to extend her advantage. The smaller brunette can't even use her mobility anymore and gets swamped by the head-hunting blast which DROPS HER ONTO HER KNEES shortly before the one minute-mark as the one-sided beating simply breaks her resilience. More blood comes from the damaged nostrils and the proud Latina also cuts a hollow look even when she gets up at seven. She talks in Spanish to the referee and it's no bueno as she could have suffered a bad injury after all. The fight is duly called off!!! TKO6 Jessica Lowndes!!!
AFTER: Impressive comeback from the Canadian actress who fell behind on the cards but always had room to spare to deliver the game-changing assault: "I've seen it all and done it all! I don't care about the judges, I can knock OUT every single one of these Next Gen #### and then some! Cierra is another overrated name, well, she looks inferior to her buddy Becky G who actually proved pretty tuff... Oh, well. I will get my revenge on that Mex-cow one day too!" (winks).
