BEFORE: For some reason Gal Gadot just can't get going even as a dangerous floater and it's not like she can blame Yvonne Strahovski for sucking the air out of the Lookout! match-making room. The results are simply not there and Gal herself knows that's unacceptable given her improved overall profile ever since she landed the Wonder Woman role.
No such problems for Kelly Rohrbach who hasn't had a losing season since 2019 and remains as sharp as ever as she hopes to take down another quality name to further enhance her contender stock. The former Ice Hotel Queen has moved on from a VIX revival lightweight title loss to Nina Agdal several months ago and continues to build another winning streak waiting for her next championship turn.
Kelly Rohrbach wears a bikini set & black gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a high ponytail. Gal Gadot wears a black bikini set & blue gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.
Round 1:
Gal decides the only way is forward and jumps into a hectic slugging pursuit seemingly hoping to catch the blonde with a vintage one-timer but Kelly embraces the challenge and responds in similar fashion leading into a furious dispute in the center of the ring. This bout could truly be over before you know it however neither woman is able to blitz the damage factor before Kelly suffers a cut under the left eye shortly after the one-minute mark. Ugh! Gal's eyes light up and she goes all frenzy mode dropping more bombs upstairs to possibly score a slam dunk finish of the season however Rohrbach slips by her on the verge of getting pushed onto the turnbuckle and avoids more looming trouble. Gadot still forges ahead with her slugging tactics and chases the suddenly reeling blonde around the area before another wild hook catches Kelly on the nose and wobbles her onto the ropes amid a wild roar from the audience. Gal slams a late combo on each temple with only bell halting her charge and that was still as impressive of a round as the Lookout! crew could have hoped for.
Round 2:
Kelly gives Gal a massive death stare ahead of the second and she takes off like an alleged elite contender blasting the brunette on the chest before moving up to test the chin from point blank range. The first combo stuffed Gadot for a moment and this moment was enough for Rohrbach to deliver the chin-checking venom in short order. Gal swings from a long wind-up and just gets beaten for more punches as Kelly cracks the code and lands several clean uppercuts on the brunette's chin instead. Woof. You don't want to make that blonde too angry and Gal's defense is well below par as she gets busted in the hole and can't even showcase her mobility as the hits simply keep on coming. Kelly rungs up the stunned opponent before another left hook finds the ear and renders the brunette numb. One more on the nose and Gal heads for the canvas!!! It's a KNOCKDOWN to silence the Lookout! corner on the spot! Gal wants to get up ASAP... a humiliating experience after dominating the opener and she's back up at five... only to realize something is wrong and she has to take a knee.. uh-oh! Another try and she's up again but then fails to answer the referee's call and the fight is STOPPED with the brunette looking hollow in the eyes. TKO2 Kelly Rohrbach!!!
AFTER: Another underwhelming result for the not-so-Wonder Woman... the struggle continues and BLONDE! Magazine claims it's a lost hope for the veteran model-turned-actress. This boxing thing just doesn't seem to work for Gal and the best news could be that compatriot Eden Cohen hasn't bothered to issue a challenge for strictly marketing purpose yet.
Different atmosphere in the LCA corner where Kelly dismisses the cut she suffered in the opening round: "She got lucky there but I quickly put down the threat. Hell, I probably gave her a concussion for all it's worth so don't tell me about that slow start. I finished off that lanky blonde (Alica Schmidt) in less than two rounds last month and I did it again tonight. I'm totally on a roll!" (laughs).
