Kylie Jenner versus Katrina Bowden

(Results: Lookout. Words: Wiz)

BEFORE:

Blonde/brunette tilt features mid-decade disappointment Bowden getting a surprise second chance with CWF, and, for the moment at least, taking advantage of it. But, now she's stepping up to Jenner, who has already undergone the career revival Katrina's looking for with the help of the talented crew at Lookout! And, Kylie's not in the mood for generosity. "I have no idea WHY management booked me against this girl. She's...nothing. Literally nothing. I should be in with top lights and welters, not some failed 34-year-old reclamation project."

"KYLIE's not showing someone any respect," says Katrina with a shake of the head. "There's a shock. Somebody needs to TEACH her some respect, and, in THIS scenario, I'M 'somebody'."

ROUND ONE:

Katrina's got the reach advantage, and it's not a small one, so she quickly begins making use of it. It, and her long legs. Bowden's jabbing and moving early, sticking the left in Kylie's face as the younger woman looks to close and bring her power to bear. Blonde's not having it though, at least in the first half of the round. She's able to enforce distance and pace, and build a solid lead. Second half, though, sees Jenner get things going. She's cutting the ring, working past the blonde's defenses, getting inside and banging to head and body. Katrina retreating at times, tying up at others. doing anything she can to limit the damage. And, in a sense, she limits it enough. Jenner gets plenty of work done, but it's not quite enough to offset the points Bowden built up early. At the bell, it's the blonde close for the 10-9 lead.

ROUND TWO:

Jenner in Bowden's face from the opening bell. How does that go for Katrina? Not well. Not well at all. There may be a few girls in the FCBA who can beat Kylie at HER fight, but Katrina Bowden isn't one of those. Oh, the blonde's game, banging back any chance she gets, but the brunette's power is simply too much for her. Katrina's backed up over and over again, forced to cover up as she takes heavy fire to head and body. She ties over and over again, at times able to force breaks, but, at others, simply shoved away or levered by Jenner, who continues to invest in her body, reddening abs and ribs as the round goes on. Final seconds sees Bowden land a solid right hand that snaps back Kylie's head, but that's far too little, far too late. It's Kylie wide in the second and we're even at 19.

ROUND THREE:

More Kylie and it's clear Bowden has a problem. She's trying to punch for respect, but Jenner's not giving her any. The brunette's walking through her stuff with absolutely zero fear, working her over to both head and body. Katrina's in retreat throughout. At times, it's a fighting retreat. At times, it's a rout. But, always, the direction is backward, as the brunette wades forward bringing the heavy leather. By late in the round, the blonde is mouth breathing. She's taken a THUMPING, but she's still standing. And, that's about the only good news, that and the odd quick combination Katrina lands off the back foot. None of that, of course, is near enough to offset the points piled up by Jenner, who takes her second-consecutive round wide and pulls into the lead 29-28.

ROUND FOUR:

Bowden in retreat. Jenner walking forward, damning any and all torpedoes in service if bringing the physical. Katrina trying everything to keep Kylie off, but nothing wo...BOOM! Right hand, BOWDEN AND DOWN GOES JENNER! Out of NOWHERE the blonde lands a nasty short right hand and catches the brunette coming forward. Crowd going NUTS as Katrina heads to a neutral corner. Jenner struggles to hands and knees at six, gets to her feet at eight, takes the mandatory. And the ref waves on Bowden. Blonde all OVER the brunette now, hammering at her with both hands. Jenner backed to the ropes and taking as Katrina ignores body sale and goes ALL head all the time, looking to finish this thing. Doesn't happen, though. Kylie rides it out, though she's looking scuffed and unsteady on her way back to the corner. On the cards, it's 10-8 Katrina, and she's now back in the lead 38-37.

ROUND FIVE:

Now it's Bowden coming forward. Jenner's still clearly buzzed and Katrina's taking full advantage, walking the brunette down behind the left jab, punishing her with right hands, looking to finish this thing. Kylie willing to trade space for time, keeping the gloves high, countering in spots, letting Katrina fight le...BOOM! Right hand counter, KYLIE and DOWN GOES KATRINA! A BLISTERING straight right from Jenner and Bowden BLOWN TO HER BACK. Kylie an arrogant slow walk to a neutral corner. She's convinced the blonde is finished. Ref counting down on Katrina, who lays on her back, eyes tightly closed, unmoving. Quickly becomes clear Kylie is right. Bowden's not just DOWN, she's OUT and it's OVER! That quickly, it's OVER. And your winner by KO5 in one-punch fashion is Kylie Jenner!

AFTER:

Kylie shaking her head in the post-fight. "Like I said, I have NO idea why they put me in with this girl. It was a waste of my time, really. I could have had her out of there any time I wanted, but, I figured I'd at LEAST get some work in. Now, I need to go talk to management about what's next, because it's NOT going to be more wannabees like HER."
