MADELYN CLINE VS BAILEE MADISON

Results: Lookout Writing: Archer

Madelyn: 25 YO, 5’6 (1.67 m) 0-1-0 since 2023, Boxing Bombshells Club

Bailee: 23 YO, 5’6 (1.67 m), 4-9-0, 3 KO since 2017, Foxfire Boxing

Before: “I saw your interview,” Bailee Madison informs Madelyn Cline at the prefight presser. “I think I should tell you that I was not impressed. For a fighter with 0-1 record you sounded pretty arrogant. Maybe not as much as your airhead colleague , but you dismissed me much too quickly. You haven’t faced the reality of the Actual Bailee Madison.”

Mady just smiled: “I was fighting MIllie Bobby Brown 16-2. I joined a long and distinguished lists of fighters who lost to her. I am not all that concerned at facing a 4-9 fighter.”

“Go ahead and think that. You are in for an unpleasant encounter with reality,” Bailee retorted.

“The reality you’ll be encountering from me is even more unpleasant,” Madelyn responded. “I can’t wait for the chance to show you.”

“Oh, don’t worry, the fight is going as hard and fast as my right hand,” Bailee said, her voice growing heated.

“It won’t be as hard and fast as my right,” Madelyn fired back.

The two young women were now stepping towards each other. Experienced FCBA handlers stepped in quickly and escorted them off stage. (Groans from those hopeful of a catfight). But the conflict was clear as the two later faced off in the ring on FIGHT NIGHT.

Madelyn removes her robe to reveal a red one piece swimsuit with matching gloves and boots (white laces). Her blonde hair pulled back in a messy ponytail. She was also wearing black gloves and boots with white lacings. Her hair was pulled back in a battle braid. The two look at each other with fierce expressions. There is some hip bumping until referee sternly restores order and the ring instructions are covered. Sullen smack of the gloves before Baille and Madelyn head for their corners. Then the bell rings.

R1: Madelyn attacking very quickly knocking Bailee’s head back with a series of fast jabs to the face and clipping uppercuts to the chin. Bailee falls back, hunching up with her mitts up at her face. She jabs at Mady as she comes in again. However Madelyn now works Bailee to the midsection and to the flanks as she circles her beleaguered quarry. Bailee not reacting fast enough as Madelyn pounds away at her and then slips back without much damage from Bailee’s counters. Rounds ends in an easy win for the newcomer, Madelyn Cline.

R2: Bailee and Madelyn move out promptly to the center of the ring. Bailey bobbing and weaving much more as she appears to be trying to make herself less of a target. Mady seems focused on looking for opening as the two exchange a few punch flurries early. Then Mady suddenly shoots forward and fires a big right hand at Bailee’s jaw . Bailee turns her shoulder to block the shot and then fires back her own counter right. Blow hits with head spinning force and sends Mady lurching to one side. Bailee in close, pounding Mady to the body trying to drive her into the ropes. Madelyn jabbing fiercely to try to hold Bailee off while she side slipsto safety. Bailee cutting off the ring. Hooks to the belly get Mady’s red swimsuited buns against the ropes, but she has delayed this enough so that Bailee’s work over her over effectively. The bell ends the round and Bailee Madison has scored a wide win.

R3: Madelyn and Bailee again out fast, but this time they go right for each other, no exploratory punching. Madelyn goes for Bailee’s rib cage with right/left slashing hooks then she puts hooks deep and hard into Bailee’s abs. Bailee has been punching away at the sides of Mady’s head and her jaw, but as the body punching punishment sinks in, she is doubled up and getting battered hard to the side of her head. Madelyn looks to be trying to get Bailee into the ropes, but Bailee proves slippery enough to avoid this fate. However she does take a lot of punching and Madelyn wins the round by a wide margin.

R4: Again both fighters are out to mid ring very quickly. Bailee able to strike first, a straight right that smacks Madelyn between the eyes with a force that sends shivers down her legs. As Madelyn reels backwards, Bailee quick to belt her hard to the chin and jaw. Madelyn quickly getting her high guard up, but those legs looking shaky. Bailee now driving hooks into Mady’s belly and ribs. Steady whacking until she’s got Mady doubled up and gasping for air. Then Bailee brings punches upward into Madelyn’s bent over upper body. Mady gasping and shuddering, but legs seem to steady and she even tries a few counter punches late, but Bailee has won this won wide.

R5: Bailee Madison the quicker one out of her corner this round. She eagerly goes after a more defensive looking Madelyn Cline. Bailee circling and counter circling, making feints, and enjoys some success in drawing Mady off balance and then striking at her to the chin and jaw. Madelyn looking uncertain and confused by Bailee’s tactics. Bilee taking advantage as she punches Mady around the ring. May seems focused on avoiding another trip to the ropes, but she’s taking a lot of shots in the process. Bailee looks cool and confident as she keeps Madelyn under pressure nearly the whole round. Earns her another round won wide. Seems to earn Madelyn some stern words from her trainer during the break. No doubt he’s telling her to get the initiative away from the Foxfire bantam. Mady not saying anything, just sitting there, nodding and looking across the ring at a chipper Bailee in her corner. A frown comes to Madelyn’s face…

R6: Madelyn off her stool like a shot at the bell. She moves at Bailee and starts punching the moment she is within range. Mady goes to the belly at the first with looks that make Bailee gasp and go bug-eyed. Then she bangs her hard to the jaw. Bailee staggers back, but as Mady lunges after her, a desperate Bailee jab catches Mady in the nose. Mady recoils in pain and shock as the blood starts dripping. Bailee too dazed to take full advantage, comes to her senses and goes after Mady. However the initial shock has worn off and Madelyn is ready for Bailee. There is a vicious exchange of jaw swiveling and chin ripping punches that staggers both. However they plunge back in moments later and there is another exchange of head, most of these chin chuckers and Bailee Madison is the one who is stumbling back on rubbery legs. Madison not moving very fast either, but is able to get back at Bailee with a burst of body shots. Bailee responds with body punches of her own. Round ends with the two punching away mindlessly. They don’t hear the bell and the referee has to push them apart, They stand there looking blankly at one another, Mady nose and chin stained with blood mixed with sweat. Bailee panting hard as the sweat drips from her body. Then they turn away and go looking for their corners. Very intense round. Madelyn Cline able to pull out a narrow victory on the judges; cards.

R7: Both corners work hard during the break. Madelyn cleaned up and leaves her stool reasonably quickly. However Bailee Madison looks sluggish off her stool, though she gaely heads for Madelyn. Madelyn tests Bailee with some early punches and observes that Bailee’s reactions just a little bit slow. Then Madelyn closes in makes a feint at Bailee’s face, up go Bailee’s mitts and then Madelyn uncorks a booming right/hook combo into Bailee’s gut. Bailee rears up on her toes and as a second right/left hook combo tear into midsection, she jackknifes forward. Madelyn then unleashes frenzied attack that sends Bailee flying backwards into the ropes. As Bailee’s back hits the ropes, her arms instinctively reach out to grabs the top rope for support, but it is a disastrous move. Madelyn blasts Bailee to the face and chin, bloodying her nose, causing angry red swellings around her yes and splitting her lips. BAILEE MADISON SLIDES INTO A BLOODY HEAP! Bailee ends up in a seated position, blood and sweat staining her white swimsuit pink then she topples over onto her side. Mady trots to the neutral corner and then faces anxiously. Referee is counting, Bailee actually starts to stir. She gropes at the ropes with one gloves hand and tries to pull herself up, but loses her grip and ends up back in a heap.

“EIGHT!...NINE!....TEN…YER OUT!” cries the referee

After: Madelyn raises her arms in celebration of her first FCBA win, but she looks over with concern as Bailee Madison has to be assisted to her stool for a medical check. Madelyn makes her way across the ring to find out for herself.

“She won’t look very good in the morning, but I don’t see serious damage,” the Foxfire doc is telling trainer Virgina Madsen.

“Oh good!” Madelyn blurts out.

“Come to walk me?” Bailee asks looking up at Mady.

“Well, it is my first win, but only if you are up to it.” Madelyn says.

“Sure I am!” Bailee insists, but she looks a bit shaky as she stands up. Madelyn quickly gets an arm around her waist.

“Don’t worry, I’ll hold you up. You certainly gave me serious fight, how is it you’re only 4-9?”

“4-10 you mean. I’m still working on that,” Bailee said.

It is actually a relatively pleasant walk as these things go. Madelyn keeps Bailey up and pauses whenever Bailee needs a little rest. Lots of photos soon will be appearing on social media thanks to the slow journey. At the end, Madelyn Bailee over to her handlers and offers her hand.

“I hope we’ll meet again some day. You fight hard and I like that,” Msdelyn says.

”I hope we meet again soon, though I want to win next time,” Bailee says.

“Then we’ll have to have a third fight to decide who is the best of 3,” Madelyn says.

“And then we can have a Best of 5,” Bailee says and they both try to laugh, though bruised ribs and abs cut this short. They hug and go their separate ways.
Interesting contest. Bailee Madison no rookie, but she was still a challenge for rookie Madelyn Cline. Bailee gave the rookie some hard punching rounds, but it was Madelyn who was able to wear Bailee down in the 6th, then finish her off in the 7th. Fans of the Bombshell no doubt looking forward to her next fight. While Bailee’s fans are hoping she can finally get her fight career on a steady winning track
