Sandra Kubicka vs Kaley Cuoco
(Lioness Club vs Fighting Models Franchise) (24-10, 24 KO vs 73-55-3, 50 KO) Results: Lookout!; Story: Vassago
BEFORE: One might argue Kaley Cuoco has become a "forgotten" Hall of Famer in the last couple of years and she's unlikely to enjoy a career revival in her age 38 season however she's apparently still important enough to serve as a bounce back target for an aspiring contender like Sandra Kubicka who seeks redemption after going down to the equally highly-touted Kelsey Merritt back in March.
Sandra Kubicka wears a brown crop top, black jeans shorts & red gloves. Long dyed blonde hair tied in a custom ponytail. Kaley Cuoco wears a white crop top, blue jeans shorts & black gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a braid. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.
Round 1: Kaley wants to prove the doubters wrong and takes off with a slugging drill bashing the fellow blonde up the middle; Sandra didn't quite anticipate such a furious start from the veteran and has to move around on her feet to avoid early trouble but Cuoco still nicks in few good hits before settling down to punish the midriff. Sandra gets backed onto the ropes all of the sudden and has a hard time handling the fellow blonde's aggressive execution; she clinches Kaley to bide some time in the final minute but then gets busted in the rack when Cuoco breaks free and caps off a dominant run with a swift uppercut rally that shut down the Polish model wholesale.
Round 2: Sandra works on her response and barges a couple of solid hooks into the older blonde's face before taking off with an uppercut stream to test the strenght of Kaley's guard. And it's not great as the Hall of Famer's head bounces side to side repeatedly and prevents her from stopping this sudden barrage. Sandra cranks up the volume and finally begins to look like a Top 10 contender as she blasts the actress onto the ropes and hammers in more leather on target to force Cuoco into more desperate weaves. A couple of swings from behind the guard don't make any impression on the Polish model who keeps dropping the aerial bombs until she cuts Kaley below the right eye right at the bell to underline her dominance.
Round 3: That late cut has made Kaley even more determined to regain her superior mojo and she blasts out of the gate to deliver a gut-checking drive and glue Kubicka to the spot in the center of the ring. These models ain't exactly speed demons across the canvas but Sandra relies on her power supply to duke it out against the Cali veteran anyway. She trades punch with comfort and works around that cut until Kaley THUMPS her in the solar plexus and applies a sudden jug muggin' series to catch the model off guard. Sandra wobbles to the side and drops her mitts just low enough for Cuoco to BLAST her with a vicious right hook on the nose that SENDS THE POLISH BLONDE DOWN on her backside!!! Uh-oh!!! Kaley can still swing a mean one and she gives the fallen model a lenghty bytch stare which delays the count. It doesn't really matter since Sandra gets up at six and indicates that was a "lucky punch" but Cuoco wants to verify that claim right away and triggers a hectic head-hunting dispute to land more clear punches into Kubicka's face. Ugh! Bell interrupts the action few seconds later and LCA coach Claudia Schiffer couldn't get any louder during the interval...
Round 4: Can Kaley finish the job now? Not quite since the younger blonde rips a hard hooking combo and moves in to enforce a slugging drill she eventually dominates once she opens another cut below Cuoco's right eye. Woof. Kaley still has the juice to slug it out but she begins to lose these back & forth exchanges which only fuels Kubicka's recovery. Another wild hook catches the older blonde on the nose and it gets ugly after that as Cuoco has to bail out of the drill to firmly lose the knockdown mojo. Could be a different story if the Hall of Famer was still in her prime but it's no longer the case and Sandra knows it too. She keeps the throttle on to pound the actress back to the ropes where she applies the gut-checking heat herself to even the early scores. Still work to be done to erase the points deficit however Sandra doesn't plan this to go the distance anyway.
Round 5: Kubicka with a vintage left/right combo on each temple and Cuoco just leaks too many of these hits now while struggling to land more than a single hand here and there. Sandra steps up with the jabbing heat while Kaley matches it for like twenty seconds and then gets railed up the middle to cause more facial damage. Ugh! Another wild hook tags the ear and the older blonde slumps into a whimper before Sandra WHACKS her across the nose to bawl her eyes to the orbit. Kaley goes shimmy shake and collapses down on her backside with blood suddenly dripping from her damaged nostrils. She freezes sitting down on the canvas and just shakes her head when the count reaches seven.. eight... NINE... TEN.... YER OUT!!! KO5 Sandra Kubicka in come-from-behind fashion!!!
AFTER: It wasn't a strictly straight-forward performance from the Polish model; she allowed the veteran to knock her down but that proved to be Kaley's high-water mark and just not enough to overcome the current Top 10 contender. Obviously the Merritt loss stings and we talk about a wide group challenging for that coveted place in the rankings yet you can't argue with the numbers too much as Cuoco isn't exactly a washed up tomato can yet. She last enjoyed a winning season at age 31 but still offers a valid test for opponents even more accomplished than Kubicka. Yes, this message was sponsored by BLONDE! Magazine...
