Elizabeth Olsen vs Halston Sage

Before:
Olsen candid in her pre-fight talk. “This year has been tough and I am not used to losing. I am not a loser and I will get back on track. The hall of fame is in my sight.”
Sage excited to fight a veteran. “Lizzie is nervous and the FCBA knows it. She’s been saying it is still her time but she’s going to be wrong someday and that day is today.”
Olsen the first girl to enter the arena, the Fates girl wearing a white sports bra and black trunks with matching gloves. Sage enters seconds later wearing an orange sports bra and matching trunks with green gloves. The two girls bump gloves and off we go for ten rounds of bantamweight action.
Round 1:
Olsen cautious to start the fight after taking a beating in her last several fights. Sage starts with a jab and Olsen slips under the blow to tag the blonde’s body before dropping back. The younger actress chases after the older girl and Olsen tags her foe with another jab as Lizzie is playing stick and shift. Sage more cautious and the blonde keeps her gloves up. Olsen and Sage start circling and trade jabs before Lizzie feints high and tags Halston in her stomach. Lizzie following up to the body of the younger girl and the Fates girl works the younger girl into the ropes. Sage clinches and forces a break and the two girls go back to circling. Olsen dictating the pace until Sage scores a hook in the final seconds and the two girls return to their corners.
Round 2:
Halston cautious out of her corner and the two actresses start out by circling each other. Olsen deking left and right but Sage stays on her toes and parries Olsen’s blows. Halston getting in close and hitting the former champion in her face with a left. Olsen dropping back and Sage chasing after her and the blonde tags Olsen in her ribs. Lizzie plants her feet and slugs Halston back and the two girls trade blows but the younger girl starts to win the trades. Sage with a right around Olsen’s gloves and the older girl staggers back and covers up as on comes the younger actress. Sage landing punches but Olsen clinches for the break. Lizzie’s ribs turning red but the Fates girl keeps Halston at a distance after the break.
Round 3:
Sage hitting her stride and the younger actress starts off with a strong left that knocks Olsen back. Sage swings with a right but Olsen ducks the blow and lands a chop into Sage’s mouth. Halston stands her group but she takes a left follow up from Elizabeth and the younger girl is knocked back into the ropes. Olsen going body and Sage winces as the older girl still packs a punch and she turns the younger girl’s ribs red. The ref’s watching closely and Lizzie works in the odd blow into her foe’s gloves but Halston escapes the ropes and tags the Fates girl with a right to her jaw. Liz clinches before Halston can land another blow and the ref steps in again. Olsen wary of Sage out of the break and the two girls trade feints but the bell rings before other girl can gain the upper hand.
Round 4:
Halston quick out of her corner and she turns up the pace on the older actress. Sage jabbing at Elizabeth and she finds the Fates girl’s jaw early and Olsen gives up ground. Sage shoots out a right hook at Olsen’s head but the Fates girl blocks the blow and Sage targets the older actress’s body and drives her into the ropes. Lizzie wincing with each blow and the ref’s watching carefully. Sage drives a short right into Olsen’s chest and the Fates girl clinches to force a break. Halston right after Liz out of the break and she lands a right into her foe’s midriff and lines up a left straight but her head snaps back and Olsen connects with a haymaker. Lizzie surges forward and drives Halston back with a thumping left in the final seconds of the round and Sage wins the round on points but looks wobbly returning to her corner.
Round 5:
Olsen seemingly with the momentum coming out of the fourth and the Fates girl connects with the younger actress’s face with a right early. Sage reeling and she is covering up and tries to fight back but the older girl keeps moving and avoids the punches. Halston shooting out a desperation right after she gets rung in her bell and Elizabeth dodges the punch and wallops Halston in her jaw and the QOA girl nearly goes down! Sage wobbly on her feet and Olsen stalks her battered foe and digs a left into her solar plexus and Halston’s guard opens up! Lizzie with a left-right combo that swivels Halston’s head and the younger girl goes down in a heap! The referee starts counting but Sage is not moving enough to beat the count. Your winner by KO5, Elizabeth Olsen!
After:
Olsen with her first win since March and any win in a tough year will help the girl. Sage meanwhile is helped to her stool by her trainers and Olsen makes sure to embrace the younger girl before leaving the ring.
“Halston is a tough fighter and she will go far in the FCBA.” Elizabeth tells the press. “My question now is who do I face for my hall of fame qualifying fight?” |
