BEFORE: It's never easy to lose management overnight but Lorella Boccia hasn't lost an ounce of that raw power that makes her a betting favorite against former welterweight champion Cassidy Freeman after all. The Italian glamour model claims she can follow suit on her compatriot Diletta Leotta's swift punchout of the veteran redhead and most pundits agree Freeman is very much past her prime these days anyway.
Lorella Boccia wears a white bikini set & black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Cassidy Freeman wears a black crop top, jeans shorts & red gloves. Long auburn red hair tied in a braid. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.
Round 1:
Lorella refuses to jump into a high-octane blast against the veteran and gets punished right away as Cassidy manages to catch her off guard and splits her mitts with relative ease to secure an early head-hunting connection. She drives in more shots on target before the brunette can respond and suddenly the redhead finds herself rolling back the tape to smack the other woman in proverbial punchbag fashion. Ugh! Boccia gets stuck on her heels and struggles to work the counter-punching route before Freeman simply pounds her back to the ropes where only a desperate clinch limits the Italian's damage. Woof. She gives the American a lenghty stare at the bell and exchanges a few words with the referee for whatever reason.
Round 2:
Cassidy lines up another head-hunting pounce but Lorella doesn't make the same mistake twice and covers off the aerial effort before driving her response to the redhead's body. Ugh! Cassidy slumps into sudden yelps and that's not a great look here at all as she loses the early momentum and allows Boccia to clobber her around the area for majority of the phone booth exchange. She bails out into safety come the second minute but the damage has been done and Lorella begins to stalk her with mean intentions which also include some verbal taunting. Any Italians in Chicago? Lorella makes her pursuit count as she backs Freeman onto the ropes and nicks in more gut-checking hits to leave the actress wrapped behind a tight earmuff come the bell.
Round 3:
Lorella comes in hot and wants to knock the redhead out & away... she shoots over the head once.. twice... and... gets busted with a left hook on the jaw instead!!! Ugh! She sinks on soft knees right away and is too slow to react when Cassidy SMOKES her with a brutal right hook on the temple.... DOWN SHE GOES!!! A quick one-two punch sends the Italian glamour model down for the count and even the fans are stunned to witness the veteran Lioness pull this rabbit out of the hat! The power supply extends the knockdown daze and leaves Boccia down on all fours when the merciless count reaches eight... nine... she ain't gonna make it!!! KO3 Cassidy Freeman in shocking "I'm not done yet" fashion!!!
AFTER: Perhaps the IBB stable demise will have a negative effect on Lorella's immediate future after all; this was a shocking defeat given her recent performances. In the last six plus months she went eight rounds vs Righetti and nine versus Upton & Tahnee Atkinson each... yet couldn't last nine minutes versus the alleged washed-up Freeman. It's hard to explain even though the league does provide an upset or two every other week. Somewhere up there Bridget Regan might be lining up a Boccia challenge while the LCA entourage is quick to call out Karen Gillan for the Crossover PPV next month already!
