Peyton: 25 YO, 5’6 (1.68 m), 15-12-0, 15 KO since 2016, Hawkeye International

Before: “This is important fight for me,” says Peyton List at the pre-fight press meeting, “This will be my second fight for HISC. My first against Natty Lind didn’t go so well. I heard Melissa might be interested in a rematch. I had KO’d her in 7 at the Asylum and I guess she wanted another crack at me. Hey, it will work out just fine for me: I’ll prove I’m better than she is and show my management they signed the right fighter in me.”

Melissa Benoist looking daggers at the younger woman: “I watched a rematch because I think I let that first fight get away from me. Se is NOT a better fighter than I am and this fight will prove it.”

“You haven’t won it yet-- and I think it would only be fair to remind everyone you’ve lost 7 of your last 8 fights. You need this win a lot more than I do. Too bad I need the win so much myself,” said Peyton cheerfully.

“You won’t be so perky when I get through with you,” Melissa growled.

“No, I will be oo busy celebrating my first HISC win,” Peyton retorts, and then adds impishly: “’Perky Peyton’ isn’t a bad nickname.”

Melissa mutters darkly under her breath and makes her exit. Peyton is all smiles as she makes her own exit.

On Fight night, Melisa Benoist was still looking darkly at a blithely smiling Peyton Roi List. Meliss was in a purple one piece swimsuit with matching boots and gloves/ Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail. Peyton was wearing a dark and light shades of blue one piece swimsuit with matching gloves and boots. Her hair was in a battle braid down her back. The istructions were covered and a quick tap of the gloves occurred. Then the fighters wen to their corners anf the bell rang.

R1: Peyton and Melissa wasted little time in getting to the middle f the ring. Peyton able to land the first strong punch, a bellringer right to Melissa’s jaw. Melissa legs buckled momentarily but she was able to pull back out of range. However Peyton was clearly aggressive she sought to put Melissa into the ropes. Melissa was resisting this, but then a right to the chin sent Melissa skidding back into the strands. Melissa buried her face in her gloves, but Peyton then simply concentrated on pounding away at Melissa’s abs, breasts and rib cage. Melissa was well-braced on the ropes and was able to stay up, but her torso were thoroughly washboarded by the time the bell rang. The round went easily to Peyton.

R2: This round Melissa Benoist was faster out f her corner and caught Peyton Roi List with a big digging hook to the belly The impact doubled Peyton up with a gasp and Melissa followed up with a swift uppercut to Peyton shin that snapped her head back. Now Melissa fired rights and lefts into the sides of Peyton’s head as Peyton tried to escape the torrent of Benoist leather. Melissa looked to be trying to push Peyton into the ropes, but Peyton was able to keep herself clear even as she as taking more punches. Peyton did throw up a jab barrage late that stalled Melissa’s offensive, but it was not enough to keep Melissa from winning the round wide.

R3: Peyton went right for Melissa as soon as she could shoot out of her corer at the bell, However Melissa was ready for her and the two met into the first point blank battle of the bout, They were toe to toe and leaning in as they brought their gloved fists up in short, punishing right and left blows to the body. Having been worked over to the body in the first round, Melissa was soon shivering under the fresh waves of punches, but her re: Pyetotreat was slow and stubborn. Peyton as working hard and she did get the round on the judges’ cards, but Melissa had kept it to a narrow win.

R4: Melissa and Peyton circled each other warily at the center of the ring. Then Melissa comes forward, feints towards the body and catches Peyton hard to chin with a lightning uppercut. Peyton is suddenly on her heels trying to cover her head as Melissa swarms around, Melissa now working both right and left flank ribs of peyton as she circles around the beleaguered blonde. Peyton trying to use her jab to slow Melissa up while steering herself away from t ropes. Melissa citing off the ring, using hooks to the gut to force Peyton into the ropes, but by then time runs out and Peyton avoids getting worked over to the body. However, Melisa Benoist looks pleased with herself as she returns to her corner knowing she has won this round wide.

R5: Melisa is out with determination. She comes at Peyton with a steady barrage of head and body punching. She moving around a lot to try to keep Peyton off balance. Works well initially as a confused Peyton is just a little late in her counters. Melissa moving forward, trying to body Peyton back, but Peyton now ram a fast series of hooks into Melisa;s belly. Melissa’s attack comes to a sudden halt as she gasps for air. Peyton really exploiting Melissa’s previously battered midsection and Melissa is soon doubled up, her face ceased with agony. Then Peyton goes after Melissa’s to the chin. Whacking punch after whacking punch scores against Melissa chin. She looks frozen in shock, gloves only half raised and then Peyton fires in her finishing sh*t a right that catches Melissa between the eyes, TIMBER! Melissa Benoist crashes forward onto her face as Peyton moves briskly to the neutral corner. Melissa does try to rise, but the best she can do is raise herself using her arms, but then she shudders and collapses.

“EIGHT!....NINE!...TEN!...YOU’RE OUT! Calls the referee

THE WINNER PEYTON ROI LIST DEFEATS MELISSA BNOIST KO5!

After: “I told her I as the better fighter. I bet her in 7 rounds l time. This time I did it in 5. Case closed as far as I am concerned,” a happy Peyton Roi List tells the press. “And it is also great to have my first HISC win. It’s onward and upward from here!”

“Discouraging, that all I have to say,” Melissa Benoist says later. “I thought I was hurting her, but I hadn’t hurt her enough. She took my punishment and hurt me in the 5th.I don’t like it but I have to put it behind me and move on.”
Much needed win for Peyton Roi List. She showed toughness and the ability to land out hard, decisive punching herself. For Melissa Benoist, it was another setback as she tries to return to a winning path, Her fans hope that Melissa and her PLP management will soon find the answer to what is currently ailing her ring career
