Emily Didonato versus Kelly Rohrbach (Lightweight Title)

Before:
It’s a bitter rematch between Sports Illustrated models when Emily DiDonato and Kelly Rohrbach step into the ring for the lightweight title. The two beauties have met twice before and Emily won both fights including a JMDD title bout when she smothered Kelly out. Rohrbach has her chance to get redemption and the blonde knows it.
“I still think about that JMDD title chance” Kelly tells the press. “I’ve been around the FCBA long enough to nearly taste victory. Tonight I am getting that title that I’ve been looking for and I am jugging Emily out afterward. That is a promise.”
“Kelly will try to jug me out.” Emily fires back. “She won’t win though and I am walking out of here still lightweight champion.”
Rohrbach is the first girl out and the blonde is wearing a yellow bikini set with matching gloves. The blonde poses for the crowd and shows off her curves that she promises to use to put Emily to sleep. Didonato steps out moments later and the brunette is continuing the swimsuit theme and she is wearing a green bikini set with orange gloves and the title around her waist. Emily mounts the ring post and shows off her figure to the crowd as well before getting in the ring. The two girls go jug to jug and face to face and the ref has to separate them. The bell rings and off we go for ten rounds of lightweight action for the FCBA title.
Round 1:
The two Sports Illustrated models charge out of their corners and pick up where they left off in their last fight two years ago for the JMDD title. Emily and Kelly slug blows into the other girl’s ribs before Kelly lands a right into Emily’s jugs. DiDonato plugs leather into Rohrbach’s chest in response and the two girls get tangled in close quarters fighting. The referee steps in and separates the two models and the fight continues. Emily lands a jab into Kelly’s face and the brunette uses her long reach to keep the blonde backed up. Kelly protecting her head and Emily is not able to cleanly land blows but the brunette works the smaller girl around the ring and lands a body shot into Kelly’s midriff. Kelly winces but Emily cannot follow up and the bell rings to signal the end of the round.
Round 2:
DiDo quick of her corner with her jabs and she keeps Rohrbach on her heels early. Kelly tries to counterpunch and work in close but Emily’s punches are clean and the brunette keeps the blonde at a distance. DiDonato works on Rohrbach’s ribs before she sticks a punch at the blonde’s head. Kelly blocks the blow and fires a punch into Emily’s chest before she knocks her back. Emily brings her gloves up and blocks a left at her head but Kelly shifts her focus to the champion’s body and works her back into the ropes. Emily bounces back from the ropes and thumps Kelly in her chest and the two models grind into a stalemate of punches. Neither girl wants to give up ground and both are breathing heavily at the bell.
Round 3:
Blonde girl stepping out of her corner confidently and she’s darting back and forth. Kelly with a stick and shift strategy for the third and it is paying off and she’s sticking Emily in her face with leather. Kelly opens up Emily’s nose with a left and blood trickles onto the brunette’s bikini top. Emily looking like her legs are in concrete and Kelly buries punches into the champion and the ref’s watching closely. Emily protecting her head but she can’t get offense going and Kelly drives her back into the ropes again. Rohrbach with a left into DiDo’s midriff and Emily gasps in pain and bends at the waist. Kelly knocks her back upright and it’s all blonde action in the third as Emily clinches. The ref separates the two girls and Kelly chases after Emily. The brunette jabs and lands a blow before the bell but the blonde wins the round on points.
Round 4:
DiDonato told to stick to her fight in the corner and the brunette is ready for Rohrbach’s stick and shift tactics. Kelly lands a right but Emily fires a jab right back into Kelly’s face and the blonde staggers back. DiDonato chases after Rohrbach and pounds her ribs with lefts and rights. Kelly protecting her face but Emily is working her body. Rorhbach’s ribs start to turn red from DiDo’s punches. Rohrbach plants her feet and feints left before jabbing DiDonato with a right and stopping the brunette’s offensive. Kelly follows up with a left into Emily’s chest and DiDonato backs off. The two girls start circling and trading jabs and feints and Kelly stats to wear Emily back. DiDonato still landing punches as the bell rings and this fight is close early.
Round 5:
Kelly hitting her stride and she wallops Emily with a right hook and the brunette girl staggers backward and on comes Kelly! Rohrbach with a left follow up to DiDonato’s jugs before she pounds her ribs. DiDo grimacing with each blow and she struggles to find a punch back into Rohrbach’s body. Kelly steadily working Emily back and the blonde shows off her power with punishing body blows that work the champion into the ropes. Kelly working over body and Emily forced to clinch. Kelly chases after Emily out of the break but Emily finds a right jab into Kelly’s face and she stops the blonde. DiDonato now getting her offense in and she chops Rohrbach’s body with punches. Kelly fighting back with jabs that force Emily to back off and the bell rings.
Round 6:
Rohrbach with the momentum going into the back half of the fight and the blonde rips a left into the brunette’s ribs but Emily comes back with a left of her own to knock the older girl backward. Kelly blocks a right follow up from Emily and finds the brunette’s chest but DiDo digs a left into Rohrbach’s midriff and the blonde bends over slightly. Kelly with a quick clinch to stop the brunette from landing another blow. The referee pulls the two girls apart and DiDonato chases Rohrbach around the ring and gets her jab going. Kelly with her gloves up and protecting her face but Emily is going to her body. Rohrbach groans as DiDonato buries a left into her torso and she nudges the champion back and clips her ear with a right. DiDonato repositions herself and snaps Rohrbach’s head with a left at the bell and Emily has the momentum.
Round 7:
Kelly slow out of her corner but Emily has her second wind. Rohrbach’s got her gloves up to protect her face and DiDonato goes body again and drives a left into her foe’s solar plexus and Rohrbach is hurt! Kelly still standing but her eyes well with tears and she goes for a desperation clinch. The blonde gets the break but the brunette comes right back after her and she splits the blonde’s gloves with a right. Kelly’s guard opens up and Emily connects with a right hook that sends the blonde spinning into a left cross and down goes the challenger! Emily with a knockdown and the Lioness corner is yelling at Kelly to get up. Rohrbach lifts her head up and sees the ref counting. Blonde girl tries to scramble to her feet but she can’t do it and crawls towards the rope. Kelly grabs on to the bottom rope but she can’t bring herself up in time. Your winner by KO7 and still FCBA lightweight champion Emily DiDonato!
After:
Emily survives another challenge to her title and she raises her fists before staring down Kelly. DiDonato doesn’t go over to her fallen foe and Emily leaves the Lioness Club staff to tend to the blonde. DiDonato gets her title and raises it to the ceiling as she continues her second stint as lightweight champion.
“Kelly is a tough fighter.” Emily says. “But she is a B grade SI girl in the ring. I am not and I am going to keep this title and prove I am a better champion that Taylor ever was.”
Rohrbach shakes her head when talking to the press. “I give Emily a lot of in the ring but I wanted revenge from losing that JMDD title fight to her. That b*tch beat me three times and I want to get her back.” |
