Elizabeth Olsen versus Demi Lovato

Before:
Bantamweight action sees Fates’ Elizabeth Olsen trying to join the hall of fame against Lookout’s Demi Lovato. The bitter feud between Lookout and Fates is no secret and the fight tonight is anticipated to be another addition to a bitter rivalry.
“I don’t care that Lizzie has won more fights than I have she is not going to be in the hall of fame because I lost to her.” Demi declares. “Olsen is going to be on the canvas when this fight ends and she’ll have to beat someone else. She’s on a downward spiral because Lookout girls are better than the Fates girls.”
Olsen rolls her eyes. “I’ll make this clear to Demi. I may have lost more fights this year but I am still taking names and I will beat her. I am making the hall of fame.”
Come time for the fight Olsen is introduced first. The Fates girl steps to the ring and removes her robe to reveal a scarlet sports bra with matching gloves and black trunks. Lovato steps out and is wearing a green sports bra and matching trunks with white gloves for the fight. The two girls stare icily at each other and thunk their gloves together with more force than usual and the fight begins!
Round 1:
Lovato quick out of her corner and the singer lands a right into Olsen’s mouth early but the Fates girl stays on her feet and drives a left into her foe’s ribs. Lovato retreats and the two girls start circling. Demi feints left but Elizabeth reads her move and lines a right into the younger girl’s face. Olsen knocks Lovato backward and Lizzie connects with a right that drives Demi into the ropes. Lovato snarling early and she bounces back its the middle of the ring and tussles with Olsen. The referee steps in to separate the two girls and they start circling out of the break. Olsen using her longer reach to keep Lovato at a distance but Demi darts in close in the final seconds to drive a left into Lizzie’s ribs. The bell rings and the first round goes to Olsen on points.
Round 2:
Demi prepared for Elizabeth’s reach in the second and she slips under a right early to land a left into the older girl’s ribs. Lizzie unable to protect herself from the follow up and Demi snaps the Fates girl’s head back with a right. Olsen still standing and the Fates girl responds with a left into Lovato’s ribs. The two girls get in close and scrap before Olsen distances herself from the smaller girl and lands a jab. Lizzie goes for a follow up right after and finds Lovato is not there any more and Demi knocks her back with a right. Olsen protecting her face and Lovato tries to break through her guard but she can’t find a hole in the older girl’s defenses and goes to her body. Lizzie lets out a grimace as Demi finds her torso and the bell rings. Demi wins the second round on points.
Round 3:
Lovato hitting her stride and feints left to start the third and rocks Olsen with a right. Elizabeth wobbly and Demi drives a left into her chest to knock the Fates girl back into the ropes. Olsen covering up and Lovato pounds punches into the older girl’s body. Demi finds a left into Liz’s and drives the older girl onto her toes. Olsen lets out a gasp and she clinches and wraps her arms around the smaller girl to force a break. Lovato dancing around Olsen as the action continues and the Lookout girl lands punches into the Fates girl’s body. Lizzie protecting her head and she finds a short right into Demi’s ribs before clinching with the smaller girl. Demi still aggressive after the ref’s break and she lands a right into Olsen’s chest at the bell.
Round 4:
Lizzie gets a talking to from coach Ana Beatriz Barros between the rounds and the Brazilian tells the bantamweight to not let the smaller girl bully her around the ring. Olsen starts with a left feint and she drives a right into Lovato’s face. The Lookout girl surprised by the strike and Lizzie follows up with another punch into her face to knock her back. Lovato in full retreat and Olsen going headhunting and she pounds two blows into Lovato’s gloves before smashing a left through and sending Lovato back. Lizzie with a haymaker but Demi somehow avoids the blow and catches the former champion in her jaw and Lizzie is wobbly! Olsen gets her gloves up in time to block a left from Lovato and the Lookout girl goes body and pounds the bigger girl’s body and turns her ribs red by the bell. Olsen tenderly walking back to her corner while Lovato has a smirk on her face.
Round 5:
Demi dipping in and out of Elizabeth’s range and the Fates girl’s protecting her head but the punches to her body make her wince. Olsen looking like her feet are in concrete and Lovato pounding punches into the bigger girl as Olsen is all on the defensive. The Fates corner yells at their fighter to move and Elizabeth staggers to her right and drives a left into Demi’s shoulder as the singer moves to her right. Lovato takes the punch and swivels Olsen’s head with a left before driving a right uppercut into her jaw and does goes Olsen in a heap! Lovato smirks and steps over the knocked down Fates girl on her way to the corner and she looks to have stopped the girl from a rival stable from her hall of fame. The ref starts counting but Lizzie’s somehow grabbing the ropes and getting to her knees and the crowd roars! Olsen with a look of determination on her face and she pulls herself up to beat the count. The ref gives the mandatory and waves Lovato back in. Demi with a right into Elizabeth’s flank and she lines up a right but Lizzie snaps her head back with a left and the Fates girl lands another jab before the round ends. Demi wins the round on points with the first knockdown but Elizabeth somehow survives and her hall of fame hope tonight is still alive.
Round 6:
Lovato told to go for the knockout in her corner and the singer lays on the hurt into the older girl. Demi picks a spot on Lizzie’s midriff and pounds leather into her body and Lizzie giving up ground. Olsen gets out of Lovato’s range and the singer steps up but she wobbles on her legs as Olsen connects with a haymaker to her chin! Demi stunned and on comes Lizzie. Olsen working around Lovato’s guard and she sinks a left into her foe’s solar plexus. Demi gasps in pain and clinches to force a break. The fight continues and Lizzie prowling around her foe using precise jabs and hooks to punish her opponent. Lovato’s gloves slowly not able to block Olsen’s punches and the Fates girl turns up the tempo. Liz thumping Demi into the ropes and she splits her gloves with a left and crashes a right into her jaw. Lovato sent reeling backward and Olsen surges forward and connects with a left hook. Demi nearly goes down but the Lookout girl stays on her feet and swings back at Elizabeth. Demi’s blow hits the Fates girl in her chest to knock her back. Lovato follows up with a left but Olsen’s not home and the singer lunges into the empty air. Olsen with an uppercut into Lovato’s chin and down goes Demi! The crowd roars as Olsen retreats to the corner and the ref starts to count. Lovato is moving her arms but the ref’s at the count of five. She picks up her head to see the count of seven and crawls to the ropes but the ref reaches ten! Your winner by KO6 and newest member of the hall of fame Elizabeth Olsen!
After:
Elizabeth Olsen falls to her knees and coach Ana Beatriz Barros rushes into the ring to hug the actress around her shoulders. Olsen returns the embrace and gets back to her feet and raises her fists to the crowd and the crowd roars its approval. Elizabeth smiles and takes off her gloves before mounting the ring post and waving to the fans. After a minute she steps down and faces Lovato who is on a stool. The Lookout staff warily look at the Fates girl with all the bad blood between the two stables but Olsen gives Lovato a hug. Demi returns the hug cooly before she lets go and exits the ring. Elizabeth stays in the ring a seconds longer to wave to the crowd before she exits the square and poses with fans before she heads to the back.
“Demi fought a good fight.” Olsen starts. “I know there is a lot of bad blood between Fates and Lookout but I wanted to keep it professional tonight.” Olsen exhales and a tear drips down her cheek.
“I can’t believe it happened after all this time” Lizzie says. “I was a free agent for two years and couldn’t get any success and then get to Fates and win 50 fights and be in the hall of fame.” |
