"Former JMD champion? I mean, is that supposed to impress anyone?” Roberts says first from the press junket, making her disdain for her opponent known wide and early. “The JMD title is a low-tier belt for those of us that need fake boobs to be attractive. Who cares? This is not a JMD fight, so why even mention that moronic title?” Emma scowls. “Hopefully Mia has more to offer than her big fake “jugs” because otherwise this is gonna be way too easy. Either way, she's getting wrecked tonight, just like Beer and Costanza."
Mia Khalifa would of course beg to differ, having captured a title despite being in the business a whole lot less than some of her counterparts, in terms of time and effort. She intently listens to Emma’s comments via translator, and you can see the reactions happening in real-time, from a scrounged-up face to knitted brows to a final scowl on her face, before it’s her turn to respond.
“Get wrecked? By YOUR weak ass?,” Mia counters with sweet malice, chuckling as she gives Emma a glance. “Speaking of titles, have you ever won ANY title?.....” Mia taunts the blonde Doll, eliciting a big eyeroll from the Ice Queen. “I thought so…. I think Emma’s just jealous of me, not only because her boobs are basically nonexistent….but also because I have a championship on my record while all she has is memories of getting knocked out every time she fought a champion in this league. So yeah, tonight may not be a JMD fight but I’m still going to f*ck up those tiny things she calls her tits. Just wait and see…”
Face off on stage is tense at first, with both Emma and Mia locking eyes and refusing to back down, their common height means foreheads can be easily shoved into one another, and their balled fists are positioned firm on the cheek and chin, with Roberts scowling back when Mia’s knuckles graze against her skin, earning a hard shove to the shoulders from the Doll.
Say what you want about Mia’s secondary title credentials - she sure knows how to get under her opponent’s skin, leaving Roberts muttering and giving her opponent death-stares from across the stage, after both fighters are separated by an army of fight officials. Thankfully, they decide to save the action and festivities for the actual fight later on, casting glares from across the room but still backing away towards the backstage entrances.
It's soon fight time, and the arena is packed and frantic as both ladies stand in their corners, ready to throw down. With the recent revival of her stable Italians Boxing Better, Mia has a glint in her eye, more than motivated to bulldoze the competition and get back to capturing the JMD title. The IBB starlet is clad in a black bikini top that can barely contain her massive chest, surely meant to antagonize her opponent and show off the massive size difference between the two to cement her jug superiority. Mia’s dark hair is in a cute twin pigtails do, and black tights and matching black gloves complete her all-black look for tonight’s fight, a sharp contrast to her opponent’s colors. Roberts is jumping up and down in her own corner, looking as determined as ever to murder her opponent here tonight, the actress is wearing her usual white and pink boxing gear of sports bra and long tights, white gloves, her hair tied in a tight ponytail. Emma is on a two-fight tear after dropping her pride to someone who shares the same namesake as her, and looks determined to make it 3-0, perhaps earn herself a future intra-stable showdown with the current Flyweight champ?
NO touch of the gloves before the referee signals for the opening bell! HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!
ROUND 1:
Emma looking sure of her win tonight, comes out of the gate at the first DING of the bell! She’s highly motivated to dominate and show Mia who’s boss, immediately throwing a flurry into her arms before banging a hook into her guard to rattle the Italian girl slightly. Coming out swinging indeed! Roberts takes a page out of the current champion’s book and doesn’t let up her assault, scoring off the shoulders and sides as she pushes Mia back, damned if this ‘champion’ dared to talk sh*t about her! She hammers another right hand into the side of her head, which sends Mia stumbling slightly to the side, but almost immediately after, Roberts lets out a shout of pain when Khalifa retaliates with a hook of her own, swung back and low to the body, before the IBB fighters backs up her earlier words with a stiff punch to Emma’s chest, which stuns the Doll to the spot, leaving her mouth hanging open for a millisec. Roberts is forced to quickly cover up and scram, as Mia seizes the chance to land her own attacks for the next minute or so, rocking her forearms and trying to pay her back for the earlier bullying. Emma is seething of course behind those arms, not liking this show of resistance one bit. Occasionally, she stands her ground and fires back, paying no heed to punches landing on her hide, as long as her own punches cut through the air and stun Khalifa back across the chin and body. Sound of the bell and both fighters have given it their all, left breathing hard and forms quivering from the exertion. It’s still Emma’s show to start, but the Doll almost let the first round slip through her fingers for a second there…
ROUND 2:
Back to all-out aggression, as Roberts storms in once again, wanting to expose Khalifa for the fluke she is. Another barrage of hits to the arms is followed by a big overhand off that glances off the forehead, briefly stunning the IBB girl. But Mia shows off her resilience, just like the previous round, suddenly dodging the next hook aimed for her chin, then responding with a rising overhand of her own that catches Emma on her mouth. Roberts can’t seem to catch a break, each of her potent attacks meant to break an ordinary woman not having the same effect on Khalifa’s hide. Instead, Mia’s shrugging off the pain and rocking the Doll back, another stiff left hand slammed into her ribcage an after-product of one of her straight hands shoved into the Italian’s abs, to little effect. Back and forth these two go, almost mirroring each other’s movements and attacks, with Emma dishing out her best but met blow-by-blow with return fire. Mia shocks the Doll once more in the final seconds, first by dodging to avoid an incoming hook before slamming a hook back into Emma’s chest, smirking afterwards when the bell has rung, as Roberts shrieks at her to “STOP THAT, b*tch! THIS AIN’T JMD!” Close round to Mia regardless of the Doll’s feelings…
ROUND 3:
Mia continues to surprise, at least her opponent, showing remarkable agility as well in the first minute. Earlier on, while she would stand her ground and brawl with Roberts, now, she’s slipping and weaving to the side to avoid more of the Doll’s ammunition, Emma’s powerful swings just too slow to catch the too fast Italian. Instead, Emma is getting her face stuffed with leather, return jabs poking the nose and lips straight in, before Khalifa begins to open the waterworks with swift hooks that catch Emma on the jawline or ear, once or twice throwing her off balance. Roberts is underestimating her foe here, to her own detriment, and needs to reevaluate her strategy if she doesn’t want to get outworked in there, with Khalifa showcasing her control of this fight with more precise prods and pokes of the blonde’s sports bra, further infuriating her. Last minute and Roberts completely LOSES her cool, storming in with a shriek of rage, wildly swinging away when she thinks MIa was cornered. Khalifa takes a couple of shots to the arms and under to the body, but she mostly locks her arms over her head and weaves, avoiding the majority of attacks before punting Emma’s head upwards with a snap uppercut that almost cuts her strings there and then! Emma wobbles slightly, forced to stumble back in a frenzied daze, though Mia barely has time after to capitalize, with the bell sounding almost immediately after. So far, so bad for the Doll’s fortunes, with Emma herself seen scowling on her way back to her corner, before complaining loudly to her team about her combined strategy.
ROUND 4:
Well, Emma might have only herself to blame for getting out-punched and maneuvered like that. For once, she listens to Carmen Electra’s advice, and doesn’t seem to be in such a big hurry to storm out of her corner once the bell rings. Mia’s partially surprised as well when the round starts and Emma hasn’t yet barged into her space, with the two women back to feeling each other with punches from afar in the very first minute. Emma’s experience comes into play here, better defending herself against Mia’s more sloppy attacks, the Italian falling back on that tried-and-true jab-jab-hook combo that every girl goes through in the opening segments of their careers. Only this is an experienced fighter here, with Emma able to easily predict her attack pattern before punishing it back with hooks and other combos slammed in from outta nowhere, leather shoved into Mia’s face and body at odd intervals, like before Mia has finished her own combo or right after, to slowly push the IBB girl backwards and make her pay for her earlier confidence. Bell rings and Emma has won the best round of the fight thus far, finally sporting a grin on her face as she semi-jogs back to the corner. Even then, the proud Doll is reluctant to give credit where it’s due, smugly declaring to her corner that she intends to end things before the end of the fifth.
ROUND 5:
Mia, however, has other plans, stopping Emma’s success in her tracks by simply refusing to engage with the Doll on her terms. First minute sees Emma attempting to engage with her opponent from afar, throwing jabs at cross combos that would have done similar damage… if they’d landed. Instead, Mia simply keeps away, her back skirting the ropes and barely needing to put up a firm defense when she’s refusing to engage. All part of the plan, apparently, as Emma starts to lose her cool and march too far inwards into enemy territory, where Mia is primed to spring her trap on the unsuspecting Doll! A fast flurry is blocked to the arms before Mia stuns her back with a firm right cross to the kisser, and you can see on the instant replay cameras the shock on Emma’s widened eyes as the glove makes landfall, snapping her head back on the spot. Emma tries to rally but Khalifa is steady in her pursuit, chasing after the blonde with steady one-two pounding of the arms and body, once again making mincemeat of the Doll’s orbs with a couple of sideswipes to circumvent the arms. This is what happens when Roberts loses her cool, almost getting pushed back into the ropes, where Mia would have most certainly gone to town on that sports bra. For now, Emma is left scowling and hugging her body, glaring daggers at the former JMD champ.
ROUND 6:
Each time Emma tries to deviate from her assigned game plan, she’s beaten back by Khalifa, who’s happy to exploit the Doll’s insolence and stubbornness, Emma sacrificing defense at the expense of proving a point. Khalifa gleefully exchanges fire in the first thirty seconds once more, happy to see the Doll on a collision course for the canvas if she keeps leaving herself open to punches that crunch into her nose and lips whenever Roberts tries to throw a big overhand at her only to take one back in return. And when Roberts begins to back away, shaking her head in pain, it’s Khalifa’s cue to STRIKE! The eager IBB starlet rocks her with a side shot to the body before trying to blast the blonde off her feet with a step-in overhand, only to have it blocked and absorbed by Emma’s waiting arms. KA-POW! Instead, Roberts was ready and waiting for the big number, responding right after with a step-in uppercut of her own that SNAPS the Italian girl’s head skywards! OUCH!! Mia lets out a grunt and tries to regather her faculties, only to eat another big right hand from the Doll, who’s timing her shots with precision and power, stepping in and letting another hook riipppp through the air and into the jawline, which SENDS KHALIFA REELING! Mia not looking too great all of a sudden, glassy-eyed and stumbling into the ropes, struggling to see the next offense coming: Roberts WALKING her down, pumping more leather into those abs, before repeating the combo to the former JMD champ’s chest, which stuns her against the ropes, before a final uppercut NAILS her on the chin!! DOWN MIA GOES, her eyes swiveling upwards into their sockets, before she simply TILTS OVER and collapses with a grunt! It’s one hell of a KNOCKDOWN for Emma Roberts, who’s left shouting and beating her chest from above, asking Mia how she likes THAT!?
Khalifa is barely moving while face-down on her chest, even as the referee herds Roberts back to her corner, the IBB girl pushing her head off the canvas but looking shaky on all fours, her eyes still squeezed shut in protest. Meanwhile, in the neutral corner, Roberts continues her taunting of her fallen adversary, telling Khalifa to just quit her struggles and give it up. Mia ignores her as best she can, breathing hard even as she makes multiple attempts to rise back to her feet, only to collapse back down to her knees each time. One last PUSH upwards has her legs completely crumpling, unable to support the body weight and the certain concussion she’s suffered, the rest of her body swaying in the wind each time she tries to put any weight on her limbs. Referee has no choice but to WAVE off the rest of this fight, signaling for the bell with Mia still on her knees, pulling weakly at the ropes! It’s OVER!
Official Result: Emma Roberts defeats Mia Khalifa via KO6!
AFTER:
A firm celebration for a smug looking Roberts, who immediately breaks into a smile and raises her hand in the air, looking every bit as deadly as ever with her win streak now growing to 3. Tonight, she promised to put the former JMD champ away, and do it quickly, and that’s exactly what she did. The Ice Queen takes her time flaunting her achievement, circling the ring she’s conquered, acknowledging the cheers of the fans with a wave and loud smooch to the airwaves.
Later, she circles back to Mia, who’s still lying slumped on her butt against the ropes, the IBB starlet barely registering her presence above.
"Nice try, fake-tits.” Emma sneers with both hands planted on her hips. “But do us all a favor and stick to JMD where you belong!”
The victorious blonde then marches away, posing in the very center of the ring with her hands on her hips to the massive cheers from her fans. Her job here is done, and Emma quickly signals to her team that it’s time to go, leaving the defeated Khalifa to quietly sulk and vow revenge on her stool.
On her way out Emma is stopped for a short interview about tonight’s fight. “I think my performance tonight speaks for itself. This b*tch tried to play dirty and got what was coming to her. She’s not champion material. She’s a fraud. And so is that dumb JMD title.” Roberts declares in contempt.
“I’m after the REAL title. And it’s currently held hostage by another fraud - her name is Avril Lavigne. I know she will never dare give me a shot at the belt because frankly - she’s scared shitless. But I WILL get another shot soon enough. Whether I have to destroy Avril or somebody else for that belt is irrelevant to me. The next champion is in for the worst night of their lives!”.
Strong and determined words from the Ice Queen who started the year with disappointing results but is slowly gaining momentum and is back to her winning ways proving she is still one of the most dangerous flyweights around. Is reigning champion Avril Lavigne going to give Roberts - her hated rival - the chance to take the belt from her? And If not, who will, and when?
Emma and her fans can only hope her next chance will come sooner rather than later…guess we’ll have to wait and see! In the meantime, Roberts continues to give her fans plenty of reasons to celebrate with 3 excellent performances in recent months including tonight’s impressive win.
