Leni Klum vs Odeya Rush

(1-1, 1 KO vs 1-4, 1 KO)

BEFORE: Typical record building fight between two aspiring brunettes who need a victory more than anything else. Most eyes are on Leni Klum who could become the next "it" girl of the modelling world but that's exactly the reason Odeya Rush absolutely hates her guts and wants to "send her crying back to mommy" ASAP! That's a bold comment for someone with a 1-4 record but it just so happens both these girls lost to VIX prospect Nell Tiger Free earlier this season and require better results to rise above the Mendoza Line of FCBA competition!
Leni Klum wears a black bikini set & golden glove. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. Odeya Rush wears a purple bikini set & white gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.
Round 1:
Hard slugging from the opening bell as Odeya tries to express her wrath in the ring but she only connects with some single punches before getting promptly outworked by the superior counter-punching delivery. Leni is well guided by her mother who has been involved in several modelling battles over the years and she clearly tells her daughter she has to assume control from the get go and just blast the other girl until she squeals... or hits back! Odeya does most of the former as she is unable to live with the teenager's frantic pace and gets flushed around the ring almost losing her footwork on speed dial. Leni strikes a confident pose and lets her mitts do all the talking which leaves Rush nursing visible lumps at the end of the opening round already!
Round 2:
More of the same in the second, Leni on the prowl, Odeya just happy to avoid more physical damage but she has to showcase some great footwork to make that happen. Klum powers along and connects with more head shots exposing the fellow brunette's subpar guard until she forces her to accept to genuine back & forth dust up that only results with more lumps appearing on Odeya's face. Ugh! She bails out from the exchange which leads into a familiar duck & weave show and this tactics won't win her many fights in this league and makes her pre-fight comments look foolish at the very least. Leni is the only charger in the ring and she dominates the opening two rounds while barely getting scratched by the ineffective actress.
Round 3:
Odeya finally wakes up to deliver some meaningful hits and she whacks the model up the chimney before a sudden switch downstairs allows her to dig some harpoons into Leni's breadbasket. The German-American models embraces the challenge but eventually has to find a way out and she's unable to carry the big punches into her opponent's face anymore which allows Rush to ride out the dominant spell into the second minute and beyond. She drops Klum onto the ropes and works more harpoon menace clearly trying to chop her in half if possible. Then comes a quick and maybe not-so-accidental headbutt and Leni tails off into rare spasms while the older brunette keeps thumping her in the stomach until the referee pulls her away at the bell.
Round 4:
More success for Odeya who cranks up the body assault and leaves Leni stranded in the middle of the ring. The young model is unable to swing over the top before she gets whacked herself and has to dance around on her toes in hectic avoidance as Rush shows her no respect whatsoever and just keeps on hassling along until she backs the model onto the ropes. Both women still want to take each other down in almost gung ho fashion fuelled by more loud screams from Heidi Klum in the corner but her daughter is the one getting punked as we enter the final minute of the round with Odeya coming alive to smack some head shots amid all this body assault pursuit. She gives Leni a visible shiner under the left eye and leaves her fuming at the bell with the cards even at 38 after four.
Round 5:
Leni hacks it around the groin but just stays above the waistline before dropping an uppercut bomb on the chin that catches Odeya mid-swing and the gravity does the rest. DOWN GOES RUSH seconds into the fifth and that one left many fans stunned by how fast it actually happened! Odeya claims she's not hurt but cuts a wounded figure when she gets up at eight. There are no favors for the young talents so Leni has to finish her off without the subtitles and she races into more head-hunting delivery that knocks Odeya's head back & forth until she gets pummelled right onto the turnbuckle where she cries out in pain since she's unable to even clinch the charging model anymore. Ref still waits a few seconds extra but then it's getting downright ugly with Rush almost out cold on her feet. IN COMES THE TOWEL from special supervisor Bar Refaeli who thinks it's all too much for the Israeli actress. And that is the right call. TKO5 Leni Klum!!!
AFTER: Both these women gave the crowd something to cherish but it was also a typical back & forth battle between two inexperienced fighters who are still searching for their identity in the ring. We can assume what path Leni is heading but she still has to deal with many holes in her boxing armour and she let Odeya thump her around for a while. That's a slightly worrying sign even though Leni is a teenager whose leash is a bit longer than others so there is no need to hit the panic button at the very early stages of her career. Onto the next one...
