“Nothing to do with ‘third time a charm’!”, Ashley Graham cuts off press inquiry. Ashley, with only about a dozen fights in her FCBA career, will be facing ‘Godzilla’ for the third time, having dropped a KO6 to Rockin’ Robyn in 2018 and a KO9 in rematch at Model Mayhem earlier this year. “Charm implies there’s some luck involved and what is involved is strategy. Been studying the tape, building a book on this girl and now I’m ready to put it into action. You see, boys, the fact is that Lawley depends a lot on intimidation - other girls see that size amd all that intimidating ‘looming’ and they’re beat before the fight starts. She can’t do that with me! Yeah, she’s got some inches on me but I am bigger … I am stronger … and from this night forward I am going to OWN her!”

Reached for comment, Lawley haughty, “I beat her twice, I’ll beat her again. I keep hearing how Carnation is going to make this big statement at welter? Well, sorry ladies, but quality beats quantity!”

Ringside, Grand Wizard sipping a PBR, comments to Poindexter DelCrunchy, “Could be looking at the future of the welterweight division here. Not just these two girls but the trend - I mean, for FCBA purposes, welter is unlimited size wise. These two are full fledged heavyweights.”

Round 1-3: Round 1 Lawley out of her corner active. Finds herself in the unusual position of having a clear edge in hand and foot speed. Pumping the long jab and punishing Ashely’s pretty face as the brunette bobs and weaves, shrugging shoulders, and looking to work her way inside. Graham hooks the ribs and draws a grunt for Godzilla, who spins out and lands a cuffing right counter. Mid ring, Lawley with left right combination, Big Ash shakes head, denying any damage and gestures with her mitts “come on!”. Rockin’ Robyn not biting - ain’t broke don;t fix it - and controls first round with length and movement. Second round has Graham pressing action at urging of McMahon, lots of head movement to get inside and them lets her hands go to pound Lawley flanks. Kaiju clinch and Ashely exerting leg power, has Robyn yielding canvas, backed up by pure power.

“You don’t see that often …: opines the Wizard.

Lawley pinned to ropes, cuffing sides of Graham’s pretty head but no leverage to get off as Ashely works midriff, ribs and sneaks occasional inside uppercut to ring Robyn’s bell. Big comeback second round for the Carnation fight. Third round has Lawley leggy, jabbing not closing. Graham draws imaginary line with toe of boot and goading Robyn to step up but big girl not having it. Slow tactical third round ends about even.

Round 4: McGee to Lawley in the corner, “Boxing beyoutiful … take dis goil into da late rounds and she’ll run outta gas”. Lawley circling, range finder jab keeping ash at distance, occasionally dropping the right hand in after the jab. Graham crouching, taking some punishment … then slips the right … eexplodes out of the crouch … and puts thunderous left hook right to the jaw and LAWLEY GOES DOWN! Former champion blasted flat to her back by big girl hook and crowd erupts - upset in the making. Lawley to feet shaky at “6”, takes the “8” count. Legs not there to move so leans back against cables and waits for the storm. McMahon exhorting “Finish her!” and Ashely is all in! Lefts and rights battering Lawley’s guard, occasionally able to punch through with poundage backed power! Bell rings and a shell shocked Lawley trying to make it to her corner as Ashley Graham squares up and tells her all about it!

“Upset in the making!” chortles Pointy.

“Maybe … maybe …” the Wiz replies thoughtfully, “But I think maybe she had her and let her off the hook?”

Round 5: McGee working frantically in corner, smelling salts under the nose, and ice on the neck, trying to snap the big girl back into reality. McGee hissing, “She’s gonna come hard - ya gotta load up a right and make her respect ya!”. Bell comes far too soon and Lawley out to face a fired up Graham, literally charging out of corner … and right into big overhand right by Godzilla! Graham able take to slip left at last moment and take the punch on shoulder but feels numbness in her arm. Graham a little spooked - thought this one was over but the big girl is still plenty dangerous. Lawley able to maintain distance with her jab. McMahon in corner screaming for aggression. When Graham back to her corner, a angry Stepahnie hisses, “You had her beat! Don’t let her off the hook!”

Round 6: Graham out of corner, fresh from tongue lashing, and rested rejuvenated Robyn meets her mid ring. Battle of the titans as two of the biggest girls in FCBA history stand toe to toe mid ring, swinging and trading. Left hook to ribs Graham. Lawley with cuffing right off the scalp and Graham brings the hook up and dings Godzilla’s jaw. Neither woman willing to take a backward step - its a test of wills here. Graham right hand to sternum and Lawley counters, sinking left hook to the midriff. Back and forth action as crowd rises to their feet. Robyn gambles and sneaks right uppercut inside and Ashely stumbles back … eyes unfocused … disorganized limbs. Feet parallel as Godzilla in for the kill - straight right hand to the chin splashes big Ashley flat on her back. Graham stirring but no serious effort to rise - its a knockout win in the sixth for Robyn “Godzilla” Lawley.

Post fight: Lawley “It was a flash knockdown she scored … I was never in trouble (some mumbles of disbelief form the press) .. pretty easy fight actually. Anyway, that’s 3 for 3 against her. Hey, Ashley … accept it … I’m another level fighter.”
