Kylie Jenner versus Kaley Cuoco

BEFORE:

Blonde/brunette battles sees Hall of Famer Cuoco, once the poster child for the shorter lightweight who could, against the current face of that class of lightweight, Kylie Jenner. And, while neither blonde nor brunette has exactly been on a hot streak lately, neither is lacking confidence coming into this one. "She was apparently good once," says Kylie with a sneer. "Back before I was born or something like that..."

"What I'M about to do," says a hard-eyed Kaley, "Is make Kylie wish she were NEVER born."

ROUND ONE:

Jenner after the blonde early. She's coming forward behind that left, backing up the older woman, making with the heavy leather. Kaley fighting flat-footed, banging back at the brunette, trying to hold canvas and having very little success doing it. This is Kylie's game, and the blonde isn't going to out-play her at it, at least in the opening frame. Cuoco takes the worst of it in a major way, getting backed up and touched up through out. The sturdy blonde is never hurt, but she IS getting punished, all as the younger woman piles up points. At the bell, there's absolutely no question about the points, they go to Jenner and wide for the early 10-9 lead.

ROUND TWO:

Kaley decides she's not going to change the terms, and it makes a huge difference. Jenner's still coming forward, but, now the Hall of Famer is moving laterally, using her own jab, making her rival work to square up. Kaley's not getting a ton done offensively. It's mostly one-punch stuff, but she's managing to slow down Jenner, and that leads to a far more competitive round than we saw in the first. It's, in fact, nip-and-tuck the whole way, with neither fighter able to establish any sort of control. Final thirty seconds sees the best flurry of the fight by Cuoco, as she stops Jenner in her tracks for the first time. And that's enough to give Kaley the round narrowly and even things at 19.

ROUND THREE:

Even better stuff from Kaley. Hall of Famer's got it going now, moving the feet, working the jab, then pouncing forward for a quick flurry before popping back to range. She's quickly got the brunette ALL out of sorts. Kylie can't time anything. She's short and late and short and late and, oh, by the way, getting punched in the face an awful lot. This right here is vintage Cuoco, the kind of thing that led to four lineal titles and that bust in the Hall of Fame, and, for the moment at least, it's much too much for the brunette. By the time the bell rings, Jenner's scuffed and frustrated and Cuoco's got the points wide to pull into a 29-28 lead.

ROUND FOUR:

More Kaley. She's got it going now and in a big way, taking complete con...BOOM! Right hand KYLIE and Kaley is HURT! Jenner lands a perfectly-timed right hand and the blonde is all WOBBLY BUTT! Jenner immediately looking to exploit the breakthrough. She's pouring on heavy fire, backing the Hall of Famer into the ropes and working her over to head and body. Veteran blonde playing defense well, keeping the guard high, jabbing back here and there, running clock and limiting the damage. For Jenner's part, she's piling up points and hurt right to the bell. When it rings, Jenner's won the round wide and evened things at 38.

ROUND FIVE:

Jenner pushing to finish this thing, stepping forward behind the left hand, backing up Cuoco with hard rights and EATING A RIGHT HAND FROM KALEY! Cuoco a BRILLIANT counter followed by a quick three-punch flurry and DOWN GOES KYLIE! Jenner dropped to her back in a stunning 360! Cuoco watches from a neutral corner, but her hopes of immediate victory are dashed when the brunette rises at seven. After the mandatory, though, the ref waves on Kaley who GOES TO WORK. She hammers away at the dazed younger woman, driving her into the ropes and bashing away with both hands. Ref looks in closely, but Kylie manages to ride it out to the bell. When it rings, it's Cuoco 10-8 and Kaley grabs a 48-46 lead at the half.

ROUND SIX:

Cuoco after Jenner, working that left, stepping in behind with rights. Kylie giving ground, but it's a fighting retreat. She's taking the worst of it, but she's landing some solid shot...BOOM! Right hand, JENNER. THERE'S the counter the brunette's been looking for and Cuoco's STAGGERED! Kylie quickly over to the offensive, hammering away at the blonde and DROPPING HER with a straight right hand! Brunette thrusts the hands over the head in triumph on her way to a neutral corner. Kaley trying to struggle to her feet, stumbles, falls back to her knees and it's OVER! The count passes the blonde by and it's OVER and your winner by KO6 is Kylie Jenner!

AFTER:

Jenner matter-of-fact in the post-fight. "She caught me with one, sure," the brunette says. "That happens. But, this was always going to be the way this came out. She's past it. This is MY time now. And, she won't be the last one to learn that the HARD way."
