Before:
Two models meet on the beach for the first time as Kelsey Merritt of Odds and Ends takes on Ming Xi of Fates. Merritt has faced Fates girls a few times and has been mostly snakebitten. She beat Taylor Swift in only one of the three body saddle fights and has lost three times to Emily Didonato without a win. Tonight she can get a form of revenge by beating Emily’s fellow Fates model Ming Xi. Ming is the newest member of Fates after several years of guest appearances.
“I know Kelsey is tired of losing to the better girls at Fates but she’ll have to deal with that again tonight.” Ming says. “I’m going to beat Kelsey tonight and put her in her place.”
“Ming is lucky she got picked up by Fates.” Kelsey says. “She’s a has been model and isn’t fit for the beach. I’m going to beat her and make sure Emily knows about it before I beat her and finally get Odds and Ends on the board against public enemy number one.”
The fight is announced on the beach and Ming is the first girl to step out from the back. The Chinese model is wearing a tight fitting white bikini set with blue polka dots and blue gloves. Ming waves to the crowd and she shows off her figure while waiting for Kelsey. The Odds & Ends girl steps out from the back and is wearing a bright red bikini set with orange gloves. Merritt keeps her gaze on Xi and the two girls go face to face in the ring. The two girls thump gloves together with force and the bell rings for ten rounds of lightweight action on the beach.
Round 1:
Odds and Ends is known as the best beach boxing stable in the FCBA and Merritt establishes herself on the sand early. Kelsey darting around on the sand early and Ming can’t pin down the younger girl. Merritt with an early pair of jabs into Xi’s face but the Chinese girl stands her ground and tags the Odds and Ends girl back in her mouth. Kelsey not bothered by the blow and she drives a hard right into Ming’s ribs before driving a left into her midriff. Xi winces and Merritt presses her advantage and drives the bigger girl backward. Ming protecting her head as Kelsey wears on her guard but the older girl’s gloves stay strong and the Fates girl finds a straight left into Kelsey’s jaw as the time in the round ticks away. The bell rings and Kelsey wins the first round on points.
Round 2:
Both models are quick out of their corners to start the second and the two girls trade jabs before Ming lands left clean into Kelsey’s jaw. Merritt stands her ground and swings back but Xi is already shifted to her left and she tags the brunette’s mouth with a right. Merritt clinches before the Chinese girl can land any more punches and the referee steps in to pull the two girls apart. Ming the aggressor out of the break and the Chinese model works her longer reach to knock Kelsey back with solid jabs. Merritt again with her guard up and the brunette girl is protecting her head. Xi with a left into Merritt’s ribs and the younger girl fires back with a right into Xi’s ribs. The bell rings and Ming takes the second round on points.
Round 3:
Merritt with an earful between rounds and whatever the Odds and Ends corner told her works because the Phillippine model darts around the older girl and drills a left into her jaw. Ming catches herself but Kelsey follows up with a left hook that nearly drops the Chinese girl and the taller model is covering up. Merritt working the older model’s toned midriff and Ming with no choice but to clinch. The two girls are separated and they start circling each other. Ming with her jab but Kelsey dipping and ducking the blows and tagging the Chinese girl’s body. Merritt with a shot into Xi’s liver and the Chinese girl clenches her teeth as her body turns red from the blows. The bell ends the round and Merritt takes the lead on points.
Round 4:
Ming determined to swing the tide of the fight and the Chinese girl comes out swinging to start the fourth. Kelsey not expecting the aggression and the Chinese model’s first blow misses but she snaps Kelsey’s head back with a follow up left. Merritt giving up ground and Xi pounds her into the ropes and the older model is laying in body blows in revenge from the previous rounds. Merritt protecting her head but Xi is pounding her body and the brunette girl nudges Ming back with her shoulder. Xi shoots out a right in response and she lands the blow into Kelsey’s body but Merrit’s winding up and she drives a right across Xi’s chin and the raven haired girl is wobbly! Ming’s legs give a shimmy and Kelsey pounces on the older girl and drives her into the ropes. Ming covering up and she holds on to the bell but the Chinese girl is on unsteady legs returning to her corner.
Round 5:
Merritt like a shot out of a cannon and she hits Xi early and Ming nearly goes down! Kelsey laying on the hurt as the Asian girl tries to find her defenses but Kelsey is too quick and tags Ming right on her button and down goes the Chinese girl! Merritt lets out a shout and she finally looks like she is going to best a Fates girl in a fight. Ming rolls onto her stomach and sees the ref’s count and gets to all fours at the count of six. Xi shakes her head and grabs the rope to lift herself up. The ref gives her the mandatory and waves Kelsey back in. Merritt lands a left but Xi hits a left jab to keep the brunette at a distance. Merritt trying to finish Xi off but the Fates girl keeps her foe at a distance to the bell.
Round 6:
Merritt trying to put Xi away and the brunette charges the bigger girl to start the sixth round. Ming with her gloves up and counterpunching Kelsey. Merritt working the older woman back but Xi is slippery and avoids the ropes. Xi hits Merritt with a right into her jaw and the Odds and Ends girl snarls and hits the Fates girl back with a left. Ming and Kelsey trade punches in phone booth boxing and now the older girl is getting the better end of the trades. Merritt giving up ground and she plants her feet to trade back and stops Xi with a right. Both girls trading jabs as they circle each other and move quickly around the sand. The bell rings and the sixth round is a draw.
Round 7:
Kelsey slow getting out of her corner and Ming notices and pounces on her foe. Ming feints left and tags Kelsey with a right and the brunette girl staggers backward. Xi chasing after the younger model and Merritt finds the raven haired beauty’s body but the Chinese girl takes the punches and pounds leather back into her foe’s body. Ming turning up the tempo and her punches become more rhythmic as she wears the smaller girl into the ropes. Kelsey protecting her head and Ming drives a right into her torso to double the brunette up! Xi snaps Merritt back upright and connects with a hook. Kelsey wobbly on her legs but still protecting her head and she jabs at Ming. Xi sidesteps the punch kicking up sand and tags Merritt with a one-two combo and down goes Merritt! Kelsey picking up head off of the sand but the ref’s already at five. Merritt shakes her head and grabs on to the ropes but she can’t pull herself up to beat the count. Your winner by KO7 Ming Xi!
After:
Ming raises her hands in victory and poses on the ringpost to savor her victory as Kelsey Merritt’s struggles against Fates girls continue. Merritt with her head in her gloves as she’s helped by the Odds and Ends staff to her stool. Ming dismounts the ring post and struts by Kelsey on her way out of the ring, “Like that b*tch?” Ming taunts the defeated model.
“I know everyone thinks Emily is the only model at Fates but I am taking names.” Ming tells the press. “I am putting Chinese boxing on the map and will beat any girl on my way to the top.”
Merritt defiant and different from her earlier tears. “I hate that stable. I will destroy each and every girl at Fates and make her know who the boss is.” |
