Neriah Fisher versus Kelly Rohrbach

Before: “I'm excited," Neriah admits in prefight. "Fighters like Kelly are the reason I moved up - just the challenge of facing the best celebrity athletes in the world. I remember when the media had Kelly pegged as the next Jessica Biel, so you know there's a lot of pent up talent there waiting to be unleashed. I just want to fight my best, and I hope that's gonna be enough to get 'er done!" Kelly similarly complimentary at podium. "Everyone's curious about Neriah," Jill says, "everyone wants to try her. Her mom was such a legend back in the Baywatch vs Playboy days. Neriah's will is so strong because of that, and breaking her will is the key to humbling her body!" Kelly in leopard-print bikini, white gloves; ponytail with swept bangs. Neriah in black-and-white checkerboard top, white bottoms, black gloves; scrappy ponytail.

R1: Problems for Kelly early. She’s pumping her jab, trying to drop the right hand—easy for Neriah to stay low, weave inside and get to ribcage. Fisher’s low center of gravity helps her bundle Rohrbach to ropes: blonde unable to get off, has to clinch for ref’s breaks. Stop and go, awkward first, Neriah able to win position and press forward to ropes, but not getting off effectively in the clinch. Kelly frustrated as her jab skids atop Fisher’s skull—right hand misses altogether.

R2: Kelly flashes a slender-limbed right/left batting, tic-toc delivery, backs out with prodding a jab at Neriah’s guard, just to keep her occupied: blonde steps right, turning Fisher’s flank. Rohrbach stitches in with the stiff jab to tummy, quickly steps out, pivots left. Neriah hands up, slowly coming forward, trying to cut off the ring. RIGHT HAND, KELLY! With a soft little shoulder shimmyy, then leaning in with a hesitation right cross, splitting Fisher’s mitts and punching her face back tart., NERIAH’S SHOOK! Fisher stumbling forward behind her mitts: Rohrbach arches her back, lifting the left uppercut into brunette’s sternum, then sidestepping-left as Neriah staggers past. Kelly pouncing in, Fisher slugging, backs a startled blonde off. Rohrbach trying to penetrate in and work on hurt Neriah, but finds her defiant: every blonde rush repulsed as Fisher shortens up stroke, dips her shoulders and works to Rohrbach’s slender ribcage. Kelly forced to step out, work behind the jab as Neriah digs in. Rohrbach piling up points on Fisher’s left eye: brunette lumping up nicely.

R3: Neriah regroups: fists in tight group near mouth/chin - patient stepping pivots-left as she establishes her jab. Kelly trying to step-and-poke with Fisher: getting picked apart a bit by sharper-punching brunette. Neriah stabilizes her front, lumps up on her beautiful foe, neatly boxing the initiative away from Kelly. Something to watch for: Fisher jabbing, then dipping forward onto front leg - fetching a jagged little left uppercut to Rohrbach's ribs.

R4: Neriah's got the timing, jab clearly punishing Kelly, working over left side of blonde's gorgeous face at will. Fisher's sudden, jolting right pounding through to chin with alarming frequency: Rohrbach covering up after gobbling it, but legs taking it well. Kelly rangy in receipt: dip and rip left uppercuts to Neriah's torso; slinging right hands and wide, lashing hooks. Fisher altogether tighter, more disciplined in her movements, but forced to concentrate, work hard to get the better of Rohrbach after 4.

R5: Neriah wades into Kelly's midsection: lanky left hook; double that hook; ripping right hand bounced off blonde tummy; third hook. Rohrbach with the hook to Fisher's bouncing jugs; double it; right hand crossed to chin. Neriah back to body, hooking tummy then tits: Kelly turns over a short right cross and THERE GO FISHER'S LEGS! Neriah reeling back all what-just-happened, pinwheels to a seat on the canvas. Fisher up at 7, Rohrbach stomping forward - right hands hard off the left foot; left crosses off the right foot as she marches. Neriah hits ropes, covers up, shouts into her mitts as Kelly hooks her body with hate: brunette back with a tidy chin-knocking right/left uppercut series: short n' tuff. Neriah covers up quick, bobs her head: Kelly's right hand misses over the top, eating brunette's counter-hook to ribcage in exchange. Fisher forward, swinging a batting series of rights and lefts against Rohrbach's body, circling round blonde left flank. OH they bang away: Kelly turning, swinging the hopeful right hand, then carving sure-thing hooks to tanned brunette body underneath. Blistering exchanges to bell: Rohrbach still pounding Fisher's body late until ref jumps in.

R6: Orderly, rangy boxing Kelly’s quickness, accuracy, determination setting the tone, blonde diligently working on Neriah’s left eye, breaking down the defense somewhat, brunette’s jab starting to find the mark: as soon as Fisher can land the left, she’s leaning in the right, hoping for chin. Rohrbach moving the jab around, touching Neriah in her abs, then coming back up top—just mixing things up to keep Fisher off balance., Down the stretch, Neriah covers up to block a series of jabs: Kelly shifts to her right, buggy-whipping brunette heartlessly in behind her left elbow. BUCKLING FISHER’S KNEES! Rohrbach’s eyes bright as she detects hurt: Another lashing buggy-whip right to the body; gouging left hook off the front foot taking Neriah in her sternum, Fisher staggers backwards, mouth open, eyes forlorn., Rohrbach smiles at the sight: she’s got her hurt again.

R7: Kelly aggressively flipping out the backhand left jab on the step-in; slinging that sidearm right to Neriah's ear. Fisher lashed, but resolute: she's keeping hands up, bobbing/weaving at the waist - answering back vicious lefts and rights either side of Rohrbach's ribcage. Kelly slides a lanky right uppercut through, brushing Neriah's lips to oohs and ahhs from the crowd; brunette stands her ground, chops a short right to Rohrbach's breasts, humbling them. Kelly anxious to finish - curls a palm-down hook across in exchange for a biting Neriah-hook...both girls trade withering right hand blasts and DOWN GOES ROHRBACH! Huge head swivel as Fisher's blacksmith's right lands bingo to chin...Tall girl's right hand sails as she corkscrews down - sprawling on her tummy over to her right. Kelly fast asleep, lips pursed in slumber as count goes higher&higher… That's a KO7 Neriah Fisher!

After: Neriah continuing to show marked improvement in the lightweight division. Kelsey already had a crack at the Tiffany belts this year, can Fisher end the year with one?
