Sabrina Carpenter vs Emily Rudd
(Lioness Club vs Empire Boxing) (3-3, 3 KO vs FCBA Debut) Results: Lookout!; Story: Vassago
BEFORE: There's evidence to suggest Sabrina Carpenter could enjoy a massive performance boost in the upcoming months as the Lioness Club has agreed to co-manage her schedule with the Queens of Absolution. The petite singer believes she can overcome her physical frame to become a true pocket rocket of the FCBA but this is not an opinion newcomer Emily Rudd shares at the moment. The Netflix actress was signed by the Empire Boxing and makes her official debut tonight: "It's never too late to make a splash! Sabrina is a creampuff fighter, I have no idea how she's managed to win a fight before! It's time to send her back to Loserville again!" (laughs).
Sabrina Carpenter wears a black bikini top, jeans shorts & black gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a custom ponytail with bangs. Emily Rudd wears a red crop top, jeans shorts & red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a half-up ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.
Round 1: Sabrina makes the newcomer look slow in the opening minute and that shouldn't come as a surprise given how the singer tries to elevate herself above the punchbag status; she works a high-octane slugging drill to land several clean hits into the brunette's face and Emily simply accepts the reality for whatever reason. Maybe the blonde's power supply is below par or something but Rudd provides little actual boxing craft in the opening round and lets her opponent thump her around the ring. Even Sabrina is mildly amused over the one-way traffic and taunts Emily with some X-rated words before the Netflix actress finally cracks a right hook on the nose to register her first noteworthy punch of the contest deep into the final minute.
Rounds 2 & 3: Empire coach Kristen Bell believes she would have done a better job in the ring and Emily rides the slugging charge to stun Sabrina early in the second which finally triggers a competitive spell between the two girls. Some heavy shots bounce off the blonde's face and she's not taunting the brunette anymore while getting picked off in supreme fashion that suddenly makes Lioness coach Eva Mendes look worried instead. Sabrina was never supposed to win these fights with her athleticism but getting blasted around by a genuine newcomer wasn't part of the plan either. More of the same in the third where Emily realizes she can simply bulldoze the petite blonde around and put the defense in the proverbial sin bin. She carries more hits into the singer's face and buries her on the ropes while trying to inflict some facial damage. Sabrina applies the vintage earmuff cover but still gets cut up across the nasal ridge and barks in anger when coach Mendes tells her to find that aggressive grip again.
Round 4: Sabrina lets it rip and she tackles the taller girl to the body which brings her instant success as Emily gets spiked around the liver area and if only the petite singer could actually work on her power supply, she could have dropped the brunette right there alas more work is required. Emily still finds the response over the top but struggles to make instant progress and gets sucked into a phone booth tussle where the singer feels more at home to say the very least. The overall wrath factor drops but Sabrina still laces the older foe around the midsection and glues her mitts on target to the point Emily gets vocal and lets the blonde hear some explicit words of support... or lack thereof. A quick clash of heads late in the going brings the action to a close however...
Round 5: ...Carpenter resumes the gut-checking pounce early in the fifth and this time she drills one power harpoon on target to sink Rudd on soft knees before a rare uppercut finds an open hole and nails the Minnesota actress on the jaw. Woof! Emily rolls down the curtains but stays upright... for the next three seconds as Sabrina flies in with one hook on the nose to SEND THE NEWCOMER DOWN ON HER BACK shortly before the one-minute mark! Big time shot from the LA singer and she takes all the spoils as Emily is left staring up at the lights from horizontal position and her FCBA debut officially goes down the drain few seconds later. KO5 Sabrina Carpenter!!!
AFTER: "She's worse than Kirk frickin' Cousins but I didn't expect much from these overhyped Netflix wimps anyway!", Sabrina offers little sympathy for the fallen opponent and prefers to preview her projected rise into relevance going forward: "I'm inspired by the Lucy Hale story and I think I can get there too. I'm done with the Ariana Grande jokes and I'm ready to take off, baby! The Queens have offered me a second contract but I plan to split my time between them and the Lionesses. I know I have to earn my spurs and nobody will hand me the Alpha status golden plate yet but don't be surprised if I'm taking down some Alpha names in 2024!" (winks).
Official Result: Sabrina Carpenter def. Emily Rudd KO5. |
