Pre-Fight: League of Mighty Women’s Anya Taylor-Joy will be facing Michelle Keegan of the Beever’s Babe’s in this Elite Eight round of the Empress of the Body Saddle Tournament. Anya is one of the favorites to win the tournament with her current form, but she struggled in big matches before, so there is a question mark there. Michelle has an outsider’s chance to win it all as her career seems to be on the decline, but she won two titles previously and she has shown some sparks of a comeback this year.

Both fighters make some quick remarks before the fight. Anya says “It will be my first body saddle bout, but I know how to fight and how to ride and that’s all I need to know! I’m hoping to ride some bullies in this tournament to show them who is better! As for Michelle, she is older and shorter, plus she is nowhere near my level, so this will be easy. She will be my first ride!” After hearing Anya’s remarks, Michelle responds “She can underestimate me all she wants, the truth is that I have won titles before and she crumbles under pressure. She will regret it when I’m riding her. Others too. I will surprise everyone in this tournament!”

Anya enters the ring wearing a white sports bra, matching trunks, pink gloves and boots, while her hair is tied into a ponytail. Michelle is wearing a black sports bra, matching trunks, blue gloves and boots with her hair also tied into a loose ponytail. The referee signals for the bell!

Fight: Anya starts the bout with a more cautious and defensive approach, while Michelle takes the role of the aggressor early on. It plays to Anya’s hand though as she uses her reach advantage to repulse Michelle’s attacks before she can get in range to do any damage. Anya isn’t doing much damage either, but she is definitely racking up points with her double jab-straight combinations that keep Michelle away in the first two rounds. Starting with the third round, Michelle adjusts her movement to be more strategic when she tries to cut the distance to her opponent, looking for angles and using head movement to dodge punches on her way in. As a result, she gets inside more often and once she gets there, she acts quickly to work Anya’s body with hooks to the ribs and uppercuts to the abs before her opponent can get out. Especially in the fourth round, Michelle lands some hard body shots that get Anya in a bit of trouble as she fails to match the ferocity of her older opponent. Michelle’s wins in consecutive rounds tie up the scorecards as well. Anya responds by increasing her own pace in the fifth round as she keeps her feet moving while getting in and out of range to land short combinations. Michelle is able to keep up with the pace first as she still gets some opportunities to get inside and score with some combinations of herself, but the pace starts to have its toll on her as the round progresses as she spends extra energy to keep up with the longer legs and reach of her younger opponent. Seeing that Michelle is starting to fade, Anya ups the pace even further in the sixth round and she starts initiating longer exchanges to cause more damage. Michelle is taking a lot of punishment in this round as her movement gets sluggish. Anya scores with a couple of strong hooks to the ribs and Michelle’s guard drops. ATJ goes for a jab to set up a stiff straight and that gives a bloodied nose to Michelle and drops her on her back! Michelle tries to get back up before the count reaches ten, but she drops down on all fours! It is all over!

Post-Fight: Anya signals for her team to quickly take care of the setup. Gillian Anderson and Ana de Armas enter the ring with the body saddle, then they fasten it on Michelle’ back and pull the straps tight to get her ready for the ride. When the preparations are done, Anya mounts her opponent, wraps her legs around Michelle’s body and squeezes her ribs. “Come on Michelle, giddy-up!” Michelle starts fast, but then quickly fades as she barely finishes the first lap around the ring before she collapses. Anya dismounts with a smirk on her face as she says “That was a bit disappointing, but I suppose that’s what you get from an old pony like Michelle. Oh well, I’m sure I will have better rides on my way to the title!”
