BEFORE: Emma Roberts has enjoyed plenty of success in the league thus far but beating Chloe Moretz ain't one of them so the New York actress hopes to earn a rematch glory after she lost the first fight between the two in January 2022: "I was ready to beat her then and I'm even more ready to beat her now! You can't win them all but I'm the better woman anyway! It's really that simple!", Emma winks back to the reporters maybe trying to put some pressure on Chloe who hasn't set the world on fire this year so it's no real surprise even Tractorpull Magazine predicts a Roberts win tonight.
Emma Roberts wears a black crop top, jeans shorts & brown gloves. Dyed blonde hair tied in a braid. Chloe Grace Moretz wears a light blue crop top, jeans shorts & silver gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.
Round 1:
Emma makes a quick jabbing start and lands several promising shots up the middle while Chloe is slow to get off the mark and struggles to connect with her punches during the opening round. Emma looks slightly surprised by this lack of production and doesn't quite make the most of her opportunity even though she outboxes the fellow blonde in the flat and pounds her back to the ropes before too long. Lioness coach Eva Mendes doesn't seem to be worried too much when Chloe gets thumped from both flanks and cuts a subdued figure in the ring before a late overhand flurry finally allows her to make a noteworthy contribution to this fight. Roberts shakes off that effort though and lines a left hook on the jaw to sink the younger actress on jelly knees right at the bell.
Round 2:
Moretz comes out hot and runs the slugging pace to seek revenge for that poor opening round. Emma accepts the ordeal and swings it right back at the fellow blonde but she can't quite find the desired connection and eats too many overhand hits to run this fight on her own terms. She switches low to punish Chloe's midsection before a clash of heads slows the action down for a moment; Moretz recovers first and blows up more shots upstairs so the fight takes another head-hunting turn where both women lack accuracy to make a significant progress until a late double catches Roberts on the chin and wobbles her onto her heels however Chloe runs out of time to add more leather and barks in anger when the referee pulls her away.
Rounds 3 & 4:
More back & forth action from both women who settle down the slugging route and try to find that haymaker breakthrough against the tactical odds. Chloe probably has less to lose in case of defeat while Emma simply wants to get her revenge and gets sucked into a proper bar fight spraying punches all over the area but only landing single ones into Moretz's face. She still leaves her nursing a couple of lumps but Chloe keeps coming forward and traps the older actress on the turnbuckle where she drops a rare midriff series to cripple Roberts into spasms. More clinching in the fourth and Emma drills through the fellow blonde's stomach while trying her chances in the proverbial phone booth. She lands some promising harpoons but Chloe has come a long way since her early struggles and she slows down the New Yorker's progress by headlocking her into a thai clinch before another gut-checking flurry leaves Emma sagging on the ropes to close out the round.
Rounds 5 & 6:
Emma flies in high and bounces off the top of Chloe's forehead before lining another body assault that flushes the younger blonde into mid-distance. Both girls keep trading punches there and show exceptional slugging desire which makes Emma more upset when she's unable to carry enough damage into Chloe's face. She switches low to explore a potential weak spot again but opens up too much instead and gets busted on the nose a couple of time allowing Moretz to lace her up back to the turnbuckle. Moretz hammers in more shots on target and gradually dismantles her opponent's high-guard until she spills some blood late in the sixth when Emma's resistance finally cries enough. Ugh! The older blonde tries to swing one for the fences but only gets gashed with more head shots and slumps into loud spasms at the bell with Chloe staring her down with visible disdain.
Round 7:
Chloe connects with more head shots as Emma's high-guard collapses in wake of the attack and the older actress simply can't find any cliching respite here while soaking up more damage up the middle. Chloe steps into her punches and cuts another gash across the nasal ridge which finally pulls the plug on the Roberts resistance. Uh-oh! Emma spins to the side, barely maintains her balance long enough for the younger to blonde to drop that one haymaker punch on target. A swift chin shot that finally makes Emma's eyes bawl onto the orbit and she CRUMBLES DOWN with her eyes closed shortly after the one-minute mark. Woof. Dollhouse coach Kristanna Loken throws her towel at Eva Mendes but the merciless count continues until it reaches ten with Emma unresponsive in spread eagle position. KO7 Chloe Grace Moretz!!!
AFTER: It's like the Braves vs Mets rivalry in recent years, there's only one team winning all the matches and the Atlanta native goes 2-0 on the New York adversary: "I know Emma did all the talking before the fight but here's the bitter truth, I am the better woman, period!" Chloe tells it like it is and drops the virtual mic while walking over the semi-conscious Roberts who needs a couple of minutes to fend off the knockout daze before being brought upright. Ugh! That swollen eye will look really bad in the morning!
