Kylie Jenner versus Elizabeth Turner

BEFORE:

Two fighters who've had very different 2023s to this point. Brunette Kylie, who broke out in 2021 and had a dominant 2022 has slumped to 3-4 this year, while blonde Elizabeth, after a desultory start to her career, grabbed management with a few days to go in 2022 and has broken out in a big way this year at both light and welter. But, if Kylie's sweating Liz, she's not letting on. "Turner is a flash in the pan," says the brunette beauty. "She's gotten some fortunate results this year, but she's what we always thought she was. ORDINARY."

"Kylie talks a lot," says a hard-eyed Liz. "In fact, she talks a LOT better than she fights, and, unfortunately for her, tonight's event will NOT be a debate."

ROUND ONE:

No doubt this one will be about terms, as the blonde has reach and plenty of it. But, that does Elizabeth exactly ZERO good in the first round, because Kylie simply works past her jab in a high guard, gets in her grill, and makes with the heavy leather to head and, mostly, body. Now, Turner's certainly GOT the body to take some punishment, but, the problem is, that's almost all she's doing, taking. She's getting put on the back foot and knocked off balance by both Jenner's punches and her great inside work. Kylie levers and shoulders and pushes, anything to get Turner going backward. And, all of it works. Result is, at the bell, Jenner's piled up the points and taken the first wide to lead 10-9.

ROUND TWO:

Jenner looking to recreate the first, but Turner not having any. Liz uses a drop step to give a little ground and give herself a bit more time to get that left jab on target. And, when she does, she's following on with HEAVY right hands, stopping Kylie in her tracks again and again. Brunette's game, working hard to get inside and bang, but she's rarely able to do it. Instead, Turner's turned the tables, finding with the left, POUNDING with the right, keeping Kylie at range, and piling up both the points and the punishment. Second turns into a complete 180 and, by the time the bell rings, Elizabeth, who was looking grumpy at the end of the first, is smiling with a wide victory to even things at 19.

ROUND THREE:

More Turner, as Liz builds on last round's success. She's not just stopping Jenner in her tracks now. The blonde beauty's backing the brunette up in spots, landing hard right hands to face and sometimes body. Turner's even working a bit of rack on occasion. Again, Kylie's resolute, determined to get inside and bring her power to bear, but the blonde's having none of it. She's found something that works now, and she's going to ride it as far as it can take her. And, where she's going is to the bell for another wide victory that puts her up 29-28, and leads to a staredown with Jenner that forces the referee to leap in between the fighters and send them back to their corners.

ROUND FOUR:

Turner getting more dominant as we go, with Kylie looking like a middle school kid during a pop quiz...no answers. She's trying everything she can think of to get to spots at get off, but she can't. Instead, Elizabeth is working her over from range, using that length and power to batter the brunette, stop her, back her up, PUNISH her. By mid-round, Jenner's in full retreat. She's not exactly hurt, but she's clearly hurting as the blonde pours on the heavy fire. Turner playing it smart, though, staying VERY sound. She's in full control and taking no chances. When the bell rings, Elizabeth's pitched a shutout and pulled into a 39-37 lead.

ROUND FIVE:

Turner dominant. Touching Kylie up, backing her up, punishing her with hard right hands. Jenner still giving full effort, but she simply can't get any work done...BOOM! Right hook, KYLIE and ELIZABETH IS HURT! Jenner slips a left, takes a jab step forward and BLASTS a hook to the chin that has Turner GOBSMACKED! Brunette quickly over to the offensive, backing up Lizzie, pinning her to the ropes, then going to work on that magnificent body. Turner putting it on sale, hanging on in a tight guard while Jenner hammers away at her. Ref's looking in closely, but Elizabeth's doing enough to keep him at bay to the bell. When it rings, Jenner's taken the points wide to cut the lead to 48-47 at the half.

ROUND SIX:

Jenner going all in now. She wants to finish this thing while the finishing is good. Turner still buzzed, giving ground, jabbing, trying to make at least a bit of a fighting retreat out of things. Kylie doesn't care a whit about the "fighting" part, however. She's all about making sure the "retreat" part continues, as she commits on everything, working a little body, but mostly concentrating upstairs now as she looks to put an end to this thing. BOOM! Straight right hand, Jenner and DOWN GOES TURNER! A SCINTILLATING right from Kylie sends Lizzie crashing to her back! Jenner raises the arms in triumph and heads to a neutral corner. Ref counts down on the blonde as she stares, blinking, up at him. Elizabeth makes a couple of feeble efforts to rise, but can't come close to doing so. It's OVER! And your winner by KO6 is Kylie Jenner!

AFTER:

Jenner not exactly looking like the WINNER of this fight. She's puffy, has a cut over the eye, and has clearly taken a beating. But, in Kylie style, she's also GIVEN one, a big enough one to send a big, strong blonde who can fight welter, to defeat. "Ordinary," Kylie says with a smirk. "Like I said. And, Kylie Jenner may be a lot of things, but one of them is NOT ordinary."
