Lorena Rae dazzled in a white one-piece and Sayuki wore her signature blue bikini. Lorena had several inches on Matsumoto, but the Japanese woman didn’t seem daunted.

The first round saw Lorena Rae take an early lead, winning it on points with a wide margin. Sayuki didn’t know how to fight someone like Rae. However, Sayuki Matsumoto wasn't ready to back down, and in the second round, she fought back fiercely and secured the round on points in a close battle.

The third round shocked none when Lorena Rae managed to score a knockdown in the second minute. Lorena had been winning, after all. With a wide gap in points, Rae seemed to have the upper hand, and Sayuki looked hurt. Worryingly hurt for someone who had only gone three rounds against one of Rae’s caliber.

But she came back strong in the fourth round, winning it with a wide margin after listening to a bit of choice advice from her corner. The battle raged on as Matsumoto continued her resurgence. In the fifth round, she claimed another round on points. She’d unraveled Rae’s schtick, it seemed, and Rae didn’t have an answer.

In the sixth round Matsumoto scored a crucial knockdown in the second minute, and Lorena Rae struggled to get back on her feet in time. She almost got there, but the count of ten arrived before she could find her feet.
