ALEXA DEMIE VS JANEL PARRISH

Results: Lookout Writing: Archer

Alexa: 22 YO, 5’1 (1.55 m). 1-1-0, 1 KO since 2023 Bombshells Boxing Club

Janel: 35 YO, 5’2 (1.57 m), 3-12-0, 2 KO since 2014 Pretty Little Punchers Inc.

Before: Petite punchers look each other over in the pre-fight press gathering. Actress-singer Alexa Demie doesn’t seem too impressed with her opposition.

“I looked her up,” Alexa says, “and she’s been here nearly 10 years and all she;s got to show for is 3 wins out 15. She must be the PLP ‘s ‘charity case’.”

Janel’s eyes flash: “It is my job at the PLP to test fighters and see if they are worthy of our attention. If I can deflate a swollen ego in process, I will have done my job and, lady, you definitely have one I would love to puncture.”

“You may want to but I have a future to look out for and getting my 2n win is on my agenda. You look like just jobber I need.”

“I would watch who I called ‘jobber’, rookie, you can easily live to regret it,” Janel says in a low, dangerous voice.

“Not with you,” Alexa says with assurance. I don’t think it will take e l;ong at all,”

Janel shakes her head: “Well, you are thinking wrong and you are son to learn that the hard way,”

Alexa just laughs: “I have a second fight to win. Let’s get to it.”

In the ring, the two flyweights shed their robes. Alexa is in a light purple bikini with matching gloves and boots. Her hair is loose and wetted down. Janel in a black bikini with red gloves and boots (black laces).Her hair is [pulled back in a messy ponytail. The small battlers look eager to go as they impatiently listen to the referee’s instructions. Then Janel JAMS her gloves into Alexa’s for the customary “touch” and then walks to her corner smirking as Alexa looks startled and then angry as she walks to her corner. There is a pause and then the bell rings.

R1: Janel and Alexa move right at each other, but it is Janel is the one to strike first with smacking hooks into Alexa’s midriff. Alexa trying to get at Janel to the head, but Janel is bobbing and weaving to become an elusive target. Alexa then goes to Janel’s body only to have Janel smack her hard to the jaw with a right/left combo that makes Alexa drop back and hastily get her gloves up to shield her head, Janel then goes after Alexa to the body to finish the round and win it easily.

R2: The bell sounds and Alexa makes sure she is the first one out of her corner and lands the first blow: a head swiveling right to Janel Parrish’ jaw. Janel knocked to one side by the blow, but comes back only to have Alexa coming at her with more head shots. Alexa doing a nice job lumping up Janel’s face, jaw and chin. Janel fighting back but her counters to Alexa’s hea not doing enough damage, Janel finally has to protect her head and now Alexa can go in for some body punching payback as Janel is pounded in the ribs and abs. Janel soon hunched up, unable to get more than an occasional counter going. Round ends and Alexa has scored a round won wide and let Janel Parrish know she’s in a FIGHT.

R3: Janel Parrish attempts to storm in against Alexa greets her with a strong counter barrage. Janel’s head shots not getting through as she is battered by Alexa’s blows. Blood starting to trickle from a cut along Janel’s right cheekbone and her face is definitely lumping up. Janel now falling away, gloves up high and Alexa now gets the chance to send more digging hooks into Janel’s quivering torso. Long round for Janel Parrish finally ends at the bell. Janel moving stiffly, but defiantly to her corner. Alexa looking very pleased with her effort and must realize she;s won another round wide.

R4: Now Alexa Demie comes storming in on Janel Parrish, She is alternating head shots with body shots while apparently trying to drive Janel into the ropes. However Janel fights back with intensity trading punch for punch with Alexa in a sustained battle that has the crowd roaring its approval. Janel getting hit in the face again, but she is now able to do manage to Alexa’s. They are punching it out at point-blank range and it seems stalemated, but then Janel gets successive uppercuts into Alexa’s chin. Alexa slumping back with a glassy look in her eyes and Janel trying to follow up, but Alexa’s mitts are up on sheer instinct and Janel can’t punch through them. The bell sounds. The judges decide for Janel Parrish, but it as close. Both fighters freshly bruised and moving slowly to their corners,

R5: Both corner crews working hard on their fighters during the break. Alexa and Janel both com out, but Alexa seems to moving more slowly. Janel sensing opportunity moves in, trying for Alexa’s head, but Alexa still able to defend herself and Janel’s efforts are blocked. Janel then starts circling and then reverse circling, firing a burst of puches and then moving on. Alexa struggling to block these incoming punches, but Janel is moving quicker and quicker as Alexa is slower and slower to react, Now Janel’s head shots begin to get through and Alexa;’s head is getting banged around over and over. Alexa tries to break up this torment by lunging forward trying to smash her right into Janel’s chin, but Janel ducks and the blow whistles by her ear. Janel then unloads a big right hand into Alexa’s exposed chin. BOOM! Alexa’s legs suddenly become entangled and DOWN GOES ALEXA! Alxa on her back, legs still entangled as she looks up blankly at the lights. Janel trots to the neutral corner. Referee counting. Alexa trying to get her legs unsnarled and then trying to rise, but she keeps falling back. She is still trying as the referee calls:

“TEN!....YER OUT!”

THE WINNER: JANEL PARRISH DEFEATS ALEXA DEMIE KO5!

After: “I like to think I sent a ‘wake-up call’ to the rookie,” says Janel Parrish, clearly savoring her new victory. :The kid is just not as good as she thought she was. Now she knows and as I was telling her: that’s my job—I test rookies and if they have failings I’ll find them. She can thank me later,”

Alexa Demie understandably unhappy at the loss: “I am not going to try to analyze the fight right now, but I know I am feeling really disappointed. I know I could have beaten Parrish. But somehow it got away from me. I have a good management behind me. They’ll find out the problem and fix it. I can ell yu one thing: I hate losing!”

Big night for the veteran Janel Parrish who (as Alexa Demie unkindly pointed out) hasn’t has a lot of wins in her history, but she finally got a new one with this bout. It was a good job by Janel and maybe she did teach newcomer Alexa a thing or two, but we’ll see hat happens in the futire for these two.
