BEFORE: Elizabeth Turner's career revival didn't quite go unnoticed within the Lioness Club stable and veteran Lily Aldridge has agreed to test out whether the blonde model from Georgia truly belongs in the contender pool or has she profited too much from the media hype around the CWF brigade. Evidence suggests the former but action speaks louder than words and Lily doesn't shy away from the ultimate challenge regardless of the circumstances.
Lily Aldridge wears a leopard print bikini set & red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. Elizabth Turner wears a blue bikini set & silver gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds.
Round 1:
Elizabeth is fired up to do some damage but Lily works a quick counter-punching action and lands more punches into the blonde's face in the opening minute before settling down to punish her midsection. Turner gets cauhght out in the proverbial phone booth and must acknowledge the Santa Monica veteran isn't quite a pushover here but it takes time to get out of the striking zone and the younger blonde gets duly pummeled back to the ropes before she can acually find an escape. Ugh! Lily switches up a gear and drops more heavy shots into the blonde's body which keeps her trapped in the subdued position; an uppercut drive then connects with the jugs and it seems like Lily truly wants to make a statement allthough she finally misses with a hooking swing late and allows Turner to clinch her into safety after an otherwise dominant opening round.
Rounds 2 & 3:
Elizabeth recovers to deliver the slugging response and this is the kind of approach most CWF fans expected from her already. Lily is brave enough to challenge the younger model into a heads-up dispute but she comes away second best this time and gets gashed repeatedly between the mitts which eventually sinks her on the heels and gives Elizabeth more easy outs which she duly takes advanatge of during the next couple of rounds. Aldridge tries to find the counter-punching respite alas Turner beats her to the punch and flushes out into a mid-distance escape before some taunting forces the brunette back in the slugging fold. She loses that exchange and Elizabeth rips the superior head-hunting drive in short order sinking the Santa Monica veteran into noticeable spasms. Another quick hook and Liz tears a small gash under the brunette's eye which causes a brief commotion in the Lioness corner since coach Claudia Schiffer realizes how problematic such an early injury can be going forward.
Round 4:
Lily comes in to work on the blonde's body and regains the slugging spirit thumping her in the navel before moving up to clip the exposed boobs as well. Elizabeth firmly believes she's the physical queen in this match-up and tries to outmuscle the apprentice only to learn that Aldridge can whack it in proper fashion and doesn't shy away from the body assault whatsoever. This leads into a hectic exchange in the phone booth where the older model secures the better aka harder contact and gradually backs Turner onto the ropes while avoiding a desperate aerial heave that makes the blonde look more than chaotic. Lily keeps the pressure well into Elizabeth's midriff and almost shoves her through the ropes with a late leather burst; no wonder the Georgia native gets extremely vocal at the bell.
Round 5:
Elizabeth might be losing her patience but she remains a dangerous puncher and she tries to knock Lily's head off in the opening minute of the fifth; the Santa Monica veteran manages to flash some quick footwork to escape immediate trouble and she doesn't quite follow the slugging war of attrition which gives the chasing blonde more comfort despite minimal gains down the stretch. However she stops the brunette's momentum and clips her with several single hits while Lily struggles to maintain the body assault dominance and spends majority of the round reeling away from the blonde's attacks. Elizabeth gets vocal again and taunts Lily to show some but she only gets blasted with a rare sky hook on the temple just before the bell to leave her fuming at her own camp during the interval.
Round 6:
Turner comes in hot but bounces off the top of Lily's forehead and wobbles just far forward to catch an uppercut blast from the inside before Aldridge whacks her on the left ear and suddenly drops a head-hunting galore before the blonde model can raise her arms again. Uh-oh!!! Elizabeth gets stuck in the hole and fails to even lock a clinch allowing the brunette to maul her from point-blank range before another hard left finds the ear and drops her into loud spasms. SHE IS HURT!!! Lily quickly pounces on the drive and smacks the ailing high-guard aside before a vicious double squashes the nose and PUTS TURNER DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE amid a loud roar from the audience!!! That happened real quick here, folks!!! Elizabeth for all her tough girl image gets dropped for the count and cuts a wounded figure while trying to fend off the knockdown vertigo. She starts crawling towards her corner instead of maybe... you know, getting up and she gets no cheap reprieve from the referee who proceeds to count her OUT which brings this model battle into a rather abrupt end!!! KO6 Lily Aldridge!!!
AFTER: Most fans still can't believe Elizabeth couldn't beat that count, Lily isn't exactly know for her power supply but she scored one for the highlight reel tonight and makes sure the CWF entourage remembers it! Lioness coach Claudia Schiffer claims too many of these wannabe contenders have underestimated Lily over the years and she's more qualified to execute a mean punch than your average gatekeeper benchmark: "Another one bites the dust. Some of these girls have to learn it the hard way and well, maybe Liz should ask Eiza (Gonzalez) to understand how to get it done!" (winks).
