Avril Lavigne
(39, 5’1, 77:32 FCBA, The Dollhouse)
Vs.
Olivia Holt (26, 5’2, 33:14 FCBA, Odds & Ends)
Results: Lookout!; Story: Caspian & The Dollhouse
BEFORE: Tension in the air for this next fight, as Avril Lavigne first enters the press room, sporting a big pair of shades on her face but not bothering to hide that scowl. Some would call her brave for fighting a certain Andrea Botez barely a week before tonight’s showdown with a top fighter such as Holt; others would call her foolhardy. The result, however, is in the history books, with Botez scoring the upset and biggest win of her career to date by knocking out Queen Lavigne in impressive fashion after 5 and a half rounds.
Lavigne’s press team having warned the assembled reporters not to bring up that disastrous fight or risk being kicked out, and so far, they’ve stayed silent, though still expectantly looking at the Doll to make the first mention of it. Lavigne, however, has other ideas, focusing her comments on her upcoming opponent:
"I pretty much know all I need to know to beat Olivia,” Avril says, picking a topic she’s confident in. “I already beat her, remember? She should go back to her dumb AMD fights. You're not getting any wins here sister. Maddie already beat her ass this year. But then she wants a rematch with me… I guess she loves losing to us Dolls?” Avril chuckles. “Whatever. I'll f*ck you up in there, Olivia. Just like last time!."
“Just like you promised to F-up Botez, right?” Olivia smirks from across the room, her arms folded across her chest. The O&E blonde is coming hot off a win over Kat McNamara, her third in a row after previously beating Jenna Ortega and Michelle Keegan and pundits are already predicting her the favorite to mop up the wounded Lavigne in tonight’s showdown which gives her every reason to be haughty.
“When are these washed up posers gonna learn their place and keep out of the way of the new wave of fighters in their prime. What… It took Avril almost forty f*cking years to win her first (and last, let’s be honest!) title?” Holt says with a chuckle of her own. “Well, punk-poser, I did it in almost half the time. TWICE. Guess that makes me twice as good as you’ll ever be, and tonight I’m going to make it official.”
You can imagine the staredown moments later is more than a little tense, with the American actress striding straight up to Avril, who’s still mouthing off in her face but not daring to throw the first punch. The Doll knows she will need to converse all her strength into scoring a comeback win tonight, and there’s little sense in getting herself hurt before the fight itself.
Fight night and Holt looks ready to rumble in a corner of the ring, a baby blue sports bra for her top and white trunks for bottoms. She’s sporting white gloves for this contest, her blonde hair in a bun. Across the ring from her, Avril is in her traditional black and pink sports bra and short tights, matching-colored gloves bunched together and her dirty blonde hair in a high ponytail as she stares at the referee awaiting the bell.
There’s the bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!
ROUND 1: Queen Lavigne looks a little more wary than usual tonight, perhaps because of losing to Botez last week. The ROAR of the crowd doesn’t match the action, with Avril’s fans expecting a full-blown charge towards her rival, yet she’s moving forward slow and steady, arms locked and only begins flicking out jabs once Holt is at a comfortable distance from her. Holt looks slightly surprised herself, especially when she’d expected to weather an early barrage from the most notoriously aggressive Doll of them all. But that surprise quickly morphs into eagerness to dominate, as she stomps in and wails on Avril’s arms and body whenever an opportunity arises. Lavigne still playing it defensive, scooting backwards and keeping herself moving, absorbing a nasty shot or two off her tummy but the rest of Holt’s attacks are absorbed easily by her guard. Then, once she’s sure it’s safe, the Dollhouse Queen begins to fight back, shoving tight combinations into Holt’s face, swift lefts and rights smacking right into the blonde’s nose and lips. They’re more than enough to frustrate Holt at this point of the fight, making some of her follow-up hooks sail overhead entirely. So far, so good for Miss Lavigne, who takes the opening round by a wide margin when the bell rings!
ROUND 2: Holt seen rubbing her nose and massaging her cheeks during the rounds, now marching out of her corner at the bell with a twisted snarl on her face. She’s not about to let Avril get away with that early victory, that’s for sure. More heavy thump thump thumps to the body as Olivia circumvents her foe’s arms and scores off the sides of Avril’s tummy and ribs, sacrificing some headspace to shock and bother the older blonde. It pays off, with Lavigne relying too much on her forward guard and forgetting that an opponent can easily throw a feint to the side to get her to weave this way, only for a counter-shot to land smack into the side of her body, forcing her to lurch towards the ropes with a grimace. Lavigne throws all sorts of her own punches back, of course, almost exclusively targeting Holt’s more vulnerable and open face. But towards the end of the round, makes it a point of personal pride to pound on the taller, younger girl’s body, mixing up her combos with a left-left harassing the face before a swooping right cross packs into the heaving belly. More growling and shouts of outrage from Holt, who can’t stand the thought of a woman double her age actually hanging and banging with her. At the bell, Olivia takes it close, but clearly wanted to do more.
ROUND 3: Avril’s defensive stance means she’s avoiding a lot of danger but also means she’s not landing enough punches to hurt her opponent, giving Holt almost free range to dominate the canvas. Holt eagerly sneaks in hooks to the arms and sides, her fists hovering over her chest before swinging in to bang on flesh and bone. So far, Lavigne’s backing away with speed, shooting jabs back into the other blonde’s face, hoping it’s gonna be enough to stop Holt’s advance. It’s not. Holt mixes in bigger overhands that SLAM into the middle of Avril’s guard, slowly beating her back towards the ropes. Holt wants to put the veteran former champ away early, but also looks confident enough to go the distance with a woman twice her age. She catches Avril with another low hook to the body before almost sending her reeling when a right swing is narrowly dodged. Lavigne, breathing hard at the bell, knows she can’t just run and gun forever. For now, she’s forced to concede yet another round by a close margin!
ROUND 4: Holt is still coming straight for the Dollhouse Queen, that confidence beaming in her expression and stance. Holt’s a former Flyweight champ in her own right, and initiates with a right cross slammed straight into the arms, then aiming low and high once more with her power shots. Lavigne, however, getting a better feel of her tactics, and starts responding with her own bombs, a haymaker slammed off the top of Holt’s head before landing a couple of chugging shots to her torso as well, for the first time making her step back several feet, looking stunned. Holt’s surprise at being hit soon descends into a snarl as she charges right back in, almost cornering the Doll against the ropes and WAILING across her tummy and arms, trying to break that guard apart and go for the KO blow to the jawline. Lavigne, however, hanging in there, occasional BASH to the side of the chin or up into the vulnerable tummy means she’s scoring her fair share of punishment in this close-ranged exchange. Bell rings and it’s the first good round for Avril in a long while, sporting a smile as she heads back to her corner. She needs to maintain this momentum, however, if she hopes to repeat her stunning KO9 victory back in 2019.
ROUND 5: Holt’s steaming and storming forth, however, frustration growing in her eyes. It’s bad enough that she lost the first match against Avril more than four years ago. Now, as Avril continues to pepper her face from afar, and her own swings rendered ineffective by the Canadian singer’s agility and defense, it’s quite clear to Holt that she’s fighting a whole different beast. First half has Lavigne scoring over and over with jab combos slammed into the nose and lips, snapping Holt’s head back at the most inopportune times. Holt, however, abandons strategy and just KEEPS. COMING. She rips another series of low hooks into Avril’s sides, then throws an uppercut to bang into the arms, no doubt aimed for the Doll’s own chin. Girls get into several wild brawls near the ropes, either tying up with arms wrapped around the waistline or shoulders, using whatever fists available to hammer and bang away at the sides of the torso or head. This way, Holt slowly wears the older blonde down, keeping her pinned frequently against the ropes and scoring several hard thump thump thumps to the pit of her belly. Referee forces the separation at the bell, and the judges are gonna have a hard time distinguishing their scores this time!
ROUND 6: Holt’s breathing a lot harder but that evil glint is still flashing in her gaze, barely waiting for the bell to ring before she’s making a beeline for Avril in the other corner. The Doll is still being methodical and cautious, to her credit, showing off expert control against an overly aggressive foe. Sweet irony when Avril lands her punches to different parts of Olivia’s face, a one-two combo snapped into the top of the head, just above the eyelid, before another hard cross slams into her nostrils, forcing leather to disappear into half her face. Suddenly, Holt looks stunned, wincing her eyes and backing away, shaking the pain from her face! And this might be Avril’s chance! The Dollhouse Queen is still moving cautiously, like a shark circling her prey and taking little nibbles: jabs fly into Holt’s defenses, bombarding the forearms and body, partially testing the waters. Holt, however, doesn’t have much of an answer, continues to wince and backing away, her arms flying all over the place, as though trying to intercept so many flies at once. Lavigne returns the favor, pounding shots landed on her torso and waistline, avoiding her arms completely as they land with intent. Holt’s getting the stuffing pounded out of her, her body lurching forward whenever an uppercut sweeps in and sinks into her waistline, forcing the air from her lungs. Lavigne is ready and waiting up top, whipping another hook across the younger blonde’s face to send her reeling left, right, and backwards! OUCH! Holt not looking too hot, her balance wavering as more and more punches land, Avril’s strategy of drilling her toned body before rocking more powerful shots across her more sensitive regions appears to be paying off! Soon enough, Holt gets backed against the ropes and has NOWHERE else to run! The O&E star covers her head but leaves her body exposed, and it’s the signal for Lavigne to rush in and hammer and bash away at that toned AMD midsection, lefts and rights slammed into the quivering flesh and across the extent of her waistline, those gloves of hers helping themselves to large swathes of unprotected tummy! Finally, a nasty hook crashes into Olivia’s side, forcing a long groan from Holt’s lips, before she bends over and SINKS DOWN TO HER KNEES! OH MY!
“b*tch!” a panting Lavigne hisses as she’s pushed to her corner by the ref who then begins slowly counting the fallen younger blonde out….1…2…3….4…5….6…worried looks form the O&E corner as their fighter seems to be struggling to overcome her pain, 7….8….9…….10!!! That’s it!! Holt is still bent over on the mat, her forehead glued to the canvas in agony! Lavigne beats her AGAIN!
Official Result: Avril Lavigne defeats Olivia Holt via KO6!
AFTER: And Queen Lavigne bounces back BEAUTIFULLY from that embarrassing defeat last week, what a win!
O&E corner CANNOT believe their eyes as Olivia is unable to get off her knees after taking the full brunt of Avril’s assault on her abs before a nasty hook to her side finally put the former AMD champ down for the count in shocking fashion!
“You suck Holt!” Lavigne is heard taunting from across the ring as Olivia’s team rush in to help their defeated fighter recover, Olivia’s face a mixture of anguish and heartbreak, the blonde looking like she’s holding back tears here… but is it the pain she’s in or is it the realization she just lost the fight and her chance at evening the score with Avril after waiting for this chance for 4 years?
Big celebration on Avril’s camp, the punk-princess high fiving and hugging her team, getting a standing ovation from her fans after a massive win tonight where she managed to bounce back from a humiliating defeat last week and take out a very eager and dangerous opponent, doing it in only 6 rounds this time!
Lavigne has a few words for the cameras when making her way out of the ring.
“I guess being an AMD champ doesn’t make your body invincible….Am I right?” Avril giggles. “I fucked her up! People love to sh*t-talk, they even called me the underdog tonight…but no one can say I can’t f*ck a girl up when I get my licks in. Olivia is SO overrated. I’m up 2-0 against this loser. Get on my level before you challenge me again, bitccccchhhh.” Avril giggles as she turns to leave, but then remembers something and turns back towards the camera.
“Oh and…If that hoe Mendes ever gets the balls to stop dodging me… I’m gonna f*ck her up too! Happy new year bitches!"
Lavigne’s rolling laughter can be heard for a few more seconds as the Canadian high fives the fans along the aisle before finally disappearing into the backstage with another prestigious win over the O&E elite to add to her record, ending the year with a not too shabby 9-4 FCBA record, including a title reign to boot.
Is Camila Mendes going to step up and do anything about it? We’ll find out in 2024! Happy new year folks! |
