Poppy Montgomery vs Donna D'Errico (Cougar Bout)

BEFORE: Most fans & pundits thought Poppy Montgomery won't give it another try anymore but cougar boxing plays by it's own rules and here she is back in the ring hoping to knock Donna D'Errico out! This might be an ambitious goal on her return though since the former Baywatch actress has been much more active in recent months and that fact always plays a part in these cougar bouts. The Downunder entourage points out that Donna lost her last three so perhaps activity is an overrated feature but we will only find out when these two cougars start to trade leather!
Poppy Montgomery wears a blue crop top, black hip-huggers & blue gloves. Long auburn red hair tied in a custom ponytail. Donna D'Errico wears a white bikini set & red gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.
Round 1:
Donna powers ahead into a jabbing start and lands some clear shots into Poppy's face before dropping a good series into her stomach and she takes full advantage of the redhead's lenghty spell on the bench to dominate the action in the first round. Poppy struggles to connect with her response and Donna doesn't really miss on her attack against a lethargic opponent so the redhead's face quickly develops a visible swelling. Ugh! Poppy finally manages to land one of these hooks on target but this only fuels the blonde into more attacks to the points she almost head-butts the slow moving Aussie and both cougars end up wrestling along the ropes which isn't that bad of a plan for Montgomery to limit further damage. D'Errico still whacks her in the stomach several times and has to be pulled away by the ref at the bell which the crowd seemingly enjoys to see!
Round 2:
Poppy comes back to land a couple of big shots in the blonde's face which triggers a feisty back & forth exchange in the center of the ring before she laces a left hook on the eye that makes Donna scowl in sudden pain. Ugh! Poppy leaps at her and pays back the head-butting favor but quickly turns her attention towards the blonde's cleavage and tries to pummel it into the open which only raises more noise around the arena. Donna struggles to swing back from her heels and gets pounded back to the ropes where she tries to clinch the redhead but fails in her attempts when Poppy digs her elbow into her chest. More cougar slugging follows and Donna's rack takes all the hits leaving its Alabama owner slumped at the bell and Poppy shouting at her: "Take that, ye plastic rag!"
Round 3:
Poppy feels she's ready for another aggressive approach but Donna sticks a vicious hook into her mouth and then settles into punching her to the body which cripples the Aussie cougar well inside the opening minute. Woof. It seems like the Baywatch veteran has found the redhead's weak spot and she piles on the heat while Montgomery remains glued to the spot and unable to swing back before one of the blonde's harpoons nails her on the liver area and causes instant demise. POPPY CRASHES ONTO HER KNEES with a loud whimper and bends her head against the canvas but then makes a late recovery thanks to a very slow count for whatever reason. D'Errico is upset over this fact and races to deliver a left/right combo into Poppy's chin before driving her onto the ropes and lashing out more punches into her face. Poppy still looks rattled by the knockdown and can't properly defend herself, she takes on water with every punch landing into her face and coach Nikki Visser throws in the towel before her compatriot suffers terminal damage. Ref pulls the blonde away and it's all over! TKO3 Donna D'Errico!!!
AFTER: Guess the activity part isn't exactly overrated after all and Donna is still furious over Tractorpull Magazine's predictions: "Can't believe Valmore thought this Australian tramp can beat me down! See you next time because I can and I will get more fights. This body was made for work... ahem... boxing work that is!" (winks).
