Before:
It’s a battle of the models at welterweight as rookies Solveig Hansen and Ellie Thumann set foot in the ring. Both women were signed to their stables earlier this year and are looking to make a name for themselves. Both women enter the fight with a 3-3 record and one will be leaving the year with a winning record and the other will have a losing record. Thumann’s list of victories more impressive than Solveig’s and the blonde is favored in the fight.
“I know Fates has a reputation for turning models into fighters” Ellie says “But I am not going to lose tonight. I have my reputation to build and I am not going to let her stand in my way.”
“Ellie thinks she is the next big thing but she is going to have to wait her turn.” Solveig says “I am going to prove that I can beat models tonight and will prove I am the next big model fighter.”
The two women glare at each other before leaving the press conference. Come time for fight, Ellie is the first girl to make her way to the ring and the blonde is wearing a blue and white bikini set with matching gloves. Thumann waves to the crowd and gets a huge cheer as the rookie paces around the ring. Solveig steps out after Ellie is talking to her staff and the brunette wears a dark green sports bra and matching trunks with white gloves. The Fates and FFC girls get face to face before retreating and thumping their gloves. The referee calls for the bell and ten rounds of welterweight action.
Round 1:
Solveig and Ellie start by circling each other and jabbing at their opponent. Both models in excellent physical shape and the circling is quick. Both women trading jabs into each others’s gloves for the first minute. In the second Solveig connects with a left hook around Ellie’s guard and the American girl takes a half step back. Mork with a thumping right into Thumann’s chest and the blonde girl takes another half step backward but she plants her feet and lines up a right into Solveig’s face. The Danish girl takes the punch and retreats and the two women start circling again. Thumann younger and bouncier on her toes and she looks for a solid punch in the final seconds of the round but Mork is looking for points and the brunette scores a pair of punches into the bigger girl’s ribs before the round ends.
Round 2:
Ellie charging out of her corner and the blonde sticks the brunette with an early right and she has Solveig backpedaling. Thumann the younger of the two women and she turns up the heat with a flurry of blows into Mork’s body and the brunette covers up as she gets worked back into the ropes. Solveig working short rights into Ellie’s body but the blonde overpowers her with an overhand right and the brunette clinches. The referee separates the two women and the fight continues. Thumann working her jab and Mork on her heels as Ellie starts landing blows through her opponent’s gloves. Solveig punching back but the brunette’s punches down have enough power to deter the blonde and on comes Ellie. Thumann thumping Mork’s ribs with lefts and rights and at the bell the smaller girl has reddened ribs.
Round 3:
Thumann starts where she left off and the blonde digs in a pair of rights into Mork’s ribs. Mork not used to fighting girls who are bigger than she is and the Fates girl retreats to put space between the two models. Ellie steps forward and catches Solveig with a left to her chin and the blonde follows up with a right that sails wide of the brunette’s head. Mork with a short left into Thumann’s midriff and the younger girl gives a wince as the Danish girl sinks leather into the American girl’s midriff. Mork working the body of the bigger girl from close range and Thumann is starting to work the smaller girl’s body back. The two women get tangled and the referee steps in for the break. The bell rings shortly later and the two women go back to their corners.
Round 4:
Thumann starting to assert her size over the smaller Mork and the American girl works the Danish model backward. Solveig planting her feet and finding leather into Thumann’s body but the blonde is too strong and she takes the punches and dishes the leather back into Mork’s body. Solveig wincing with each strike into her midriff and the smaller girl feels her back touch the ropes. Mork slips out to her left and digs a right into Thumann’s body but Ellie does not let her get away without punishment and digs a left into her foe’s chest. Solveig clinches and the referee pulls the two women apart before the fight continues. Both models start circling and Ellie again asserting her jab but Solveig finding her counters. The bell rings and Ellie wins the round on points, close.
Round 5:
Ellie charging out of her corner and the blonde’s a swinging and she’s taking it to Solveig early in the fifth. Mork surprised by the change in tempo and the brunette barely gets her gloves up to block a left haymaker from the blonde. Thumann’s blow thumps off of Mork’s gloves and the blonde follows up with a right into Mork’s ribs. Solveig gasps and Ellie finds the brunette’s solar plexus and draws another gasp out of the Fates girl and Solveig throws her arms around Ellie and the older model gets the break. Solveig breathing heavily after the two women are separated and Ellie goes right after her opponent’s body and feints high before tagging her ribs. Solveig landing the occasional counter but the brunette’s playing defense and takes a pounding left across her chest at the bell and Ellie wins the round on points, wide.
Round 6:
Thumann determined to pick up where she left off and she drives a hard right at Mork’s face. Solveig blocks the blow and digs a left into Ellie’s ribs that stiffens the blonde up. Ellie takes a half step backward and connects with a right into Solveig’s ear but the brunette stays up and she snaps the blonde’s head back with a left. Thumann brings up her gloves and the brunette plunges leather into Thumann’s solar plexus and Ellie gasps in pain. Solveig finding her opponent’s body and Ellie struggling to fight the smaller girl in the close quarters combat as the Dane finds her mark. Thumann’s legs locking up and the blonde’s fluid movements stop and she becomes an immobile target. Solveig working on her foe’s ribs now and Ellie’s gloves start to drop and the blonde clinches for a break. The ref pulls the two women apart and Ellie feints a right out of the break but Solveig crushes a right into her foe’s jaw and Ellie is staggered. Mork charges forward with an uppercut that wobbles the blonde and she connects with a right hook that sends Ellie to the canvas! Thumann lifting her head up to see the ref’s count and the blonde crawls towards the ropes. Ellie grabs a hold of the bottom rope at the count of six and she pulls herself to all fours but she can’t get any further. Thumann clutches her midriff as the ref reaches ten and your winner by KO6 Solveig Mork Hansen!
After:
Solveig parades around the ring and the new brunette at Fates is starting to make a name for herself. Ellie to endure the pian of losing a fight she could have won and the blonde is helped to her stool in defeat as she drops to below a 500 record. Mork not paying any attention to the defeated model and the brunette poses on the ringpost before leaving the ring without even looking at her opponent. Thumann and the FFC staff notice and yell at the Fates girl but the older model leaves the ring without turning back.
“Let Ellie be a message to the rest of the FCBA.” Solveig says. “I am here and I am taking names and winning fights. When Emily DiDonato stops being a coward and fights me and I knock her out the entire FCBA will bow to me.”
Ellie walks into the press conference with a look of determination on her face. “Solveig thinks she is the next big thing in the FCBA and that doesn’t need to show any respect to her opponents. I will beat her next time.”
