Intro:
We kick off the final round of this year's Diamond Boxing Tournament with this year's winner getting a chance at a victory lap. Hailey Clauson (6-0) won the title last month by staying undefeated and ironically her last challenger for the crown is her opponent tonight.

Ireland Baldwin (4-2) had to win her last two fights but a loss to Raffaella Modugno cost her the chance at trophy. Tonight she still has a chance to upset Hailey and play spoiler on Hailey's unbeaten run in the tournament as they step inside Wembley Stadium in London to duke it out.

Some expected that Hailey would be crowned before the bout took place. Hailey though made it known at the press event before the night before on the stage at the podium "I want to be motivated so tonight I won't be lifting the trophy. That will come after I beat Ireland." Smiling as she nods to the press in her red dress. Ireland behind her sitting on a stool in a white dress and heels crinkles her nose at that.

"This tournament was about me proving that I am the best in the world. I have taken down all challengers and while I am sore at losing my FCBA JMDD title... That was the one set back this year. Next I am going to become the welterweight champion of the world" says Hailey. Not really focused on her opponent as she is applauded and walks back to her corner.

Ireland walks to the podium and straight away says "that's all wonderful Hailey. You have beaten everyone else in the tournament but you damn well haven't beaten me." Turning to stare hard at Hailey and getting a tense look back in her direction.

"I am going to spoil your party. If I had the backing you do I would be the one on top, instead I have had to fight for myself, work my butt off in my private gym and while I am glad to have had Charlize Theron helping me when I was younger. The past two years has been all me becoming an elite fighter." Pointing at her rival as she speaks. Making it clear she doesn't have much respect for her.

There is no handshake or moment of respect. Instead they square up and tensely stare each other down. You can cut the tension with a knife between them. With organisers and their coaches working to separate them off the stage.

Fight Night! First out through the curtain comes Hailey with her coach Henry Cavill. She waves to the fans as she gets a lot of applause and cheers as the crowd shows her a mixture of love and respect. She steps into the ring wearing a white sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks and shoes, gold coloured gloves and her hair tied into a ponytail. Standing in her corner taking a breath. She has to keep her emotions in check till this fight is over to celebrate.

Ireland then pushes her way through the curtain with her coach following. She looks to be walking to the ring with a purpose. Banging her white gloves together as she gets to ringside. Climbing into the ring; Ireland is wearing a white sports bra, matching trunks and shoes, hair tied into a braid. She stares hard across the ring at her foe.

The fighters walk to the center of the ring. The referee staying between them as Ireland threatens to ruin Hailey's night. Hailey keeping silent as she looks to keep her focus. When Hailey puts her gloves out to show some respect to her opponent, Ireland bangs hers down on top of them to send a message. They walk back to their corners with Hailey tapping her cheeks. The bell rings to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters with Hailey quick to step in close to Ireland, forcing the issue with hooks to the body. Ireland nudges her back with her left and spikes in a straight to the forehead of her foe. Electric start from both as they look to overpower each other. Ireland gets Hailey back near the ropes but misses with a right hook as Hailey leans out the way. Instead it's a counter left cross on the chin of Baldwin that makes her back off.

After that hectic opening minute; Hailey steps in with a right cross to the jaw of Ireland, then drives her back to the ropes with piston like body shots as Ireland grits her mouthpiece. Landing cuffing punches around the top of Hailey's head but not doing enough to ward her off as the heavier punches come from the Sirens fighter.

Dragging Clauson into a clinch, Baldwin looks happy to have a breather. They are pushed apart with Ireland moving off the ropes. Toe to toe they go in the dying moments of the round to the delight of the crowd. The bell rings with Hailey returning to her corner to be met with a high five from Henry.

Round 2:
Ireland has had a telling off by her coach and is now using her jab to look to hold off Hailey. Who still finds ways to weave her way to the inside, looking to cut down the bigger fighter with more hooks to the body. Ireland is pushing her back and leaves a short right cross near the eye of Hailey to make her cry out.

Getting hold of the middle of the ring as she slams in several two punch combos from range. Ireland is looking more comfortable now she hasn't got Hailey in her grill. Still Clauson lands a few stiff jabs of her own, sneaking some into the jugs of Ireland to rile up her rival.

A jab to the forehead of Hailey opens her up to a right cross. Hailey finds herself pushed against the ropes late in the round. Covering up as Ireland looks to hurt her with hooks. The round soon comes to an end with Ireland staring daggers at Hailey before walking to her corner.

Round 3:
Again Ireland looks more measured compared to the opening round, slowing down things with straight shots. Hailey meanwhile is having to move more up on her toes and move her upper body to slip her way in closer to heat the action up. Hard fought exchanges on the inside favouring the smaller Hailey.

But Ireland is pushing her off, soon landing a crisp jab/straight combo into the face of Hailey to knock her back two steps. Soon Hailey finds herself crowded into a neutral corner. Where Ireland is firing in a more ranged set of shots. Landing some hooks around to the ears of Clauson till the smaller fighter has to hold onto her. The referee needed to pull them apart as Ireland wisely leans on Hailey in the corner.

Once they resume Hailey is ducking down more to step in with punches around the belly button of her foe. Ireland gritting her mouthpiece, throwing punches downward to the forehead of Hailey to move her back. They let their hands go in the dying seconds of the round. Once the bell rings Ireland marches back to her corner as it is clear she is wanting to ruin the night of Hailey.

Round 4:
Hailey nods to Henry before she goes back out. She is mixing up where she is landing her jabs now as she circles to the left of Ireland, both exchanging single punches as Ireland wants to uncork a big right but she can't pin down Hailey. Several punches drilling Ireland near her chin to give her coach a little reason to worry judging by their expressions.

A missed left cross by Ireland leaves her open to an overhand right that lands on her chin to twist her head around. A short left lands square into the belly button of Ireland to make her groan. Hailey starting to plug away in close to the delight of Henry and her supporters. Ireland nudges her back but leaves herself open to an uppercut that sends her reeling onto her heels.

Hailey pressing Ireland back into her own corner. Whacking away at the bigger fighter till Ireland can hang onto her. They are split up with Ireland looking a little wide eyed. Hailey definitely showing her the power she processes now. A straight again lands into the breadbasket of Baldwin as she looks to be losing her composure. The round soon comes to an end with Ireland shelled up. Hailey has Henry smiling again as they clearly smell blood in the water. Ireland is breathing a little harder now and sits with her eyes firmly locked onto her rival.

Round 5:
Resuming with Hailey feinting and darting inside and out. Ireland is starting to unravel as she is missing. Cheeks flushed red as she looks a mixture of embarrassed and hurting. A straight on her chin snaps her head back as Hailey is finding easy targets to hit now Ireland is so open. Pushing back the taller woman to the outside part of the ring.

Ireland misses with a wild right/left hook combo. A right lands into her liver area to make her cry out as she bends over! ANOTHER RIGHT SINKS INTO HER LIVER AND DOWN GOES IRELAND ONTO ALL FOURS WITH TEARS IN HER EYES!

Crowd erupts in a loud cheer as Hailey walks to the neutral corner with her arms in the air. 1....2....3....4... Ireland spits out her gumshield and rolls to her left side. 5....6... Cradling her body as her cheeks are flushed red. 7....8....9... She is kicking the canvas with her right foot. 10 that's all she can do as she is counted out!

Winner Hailey Clauson KO Round 5

After:
Hailey has now officially run the table; defeating every other fighter in the Diamond Boxing Tournament this year. She turns and mounts the bottom ropes of the corner she is standing in. Blowing kisses to the crowd as Henry is grinning as he steps into the ring and soon has her on her right shoulder carrying her around the ring in a lap of honour.

Ireland on the other hand has an ice pack placed on her body by her coach. She has tears running down her cheeks to the canvas as she tries to catch her breath. Her chance to spoil the celebrations of Ireland have went down in flames. She can only watch Hailey be carried around her.

Soon as Hailey finishes her lap and is being cleaned up in her corner. Ireland is helped to stand up, she gingerly gets to her feet with a nasty glare aimed at Hailey. Soon enough she is sitting on her stool being washed down.

A podium is brought into the ring with the diamond tiara and trophy on a red pillow. Ireland sees that and asks to be helped out the ring. Even as it clearly stings her to do so, Ireland does not want to be around anything to do with celebrating Hailey's victory. Being helped to the back as she should still be proud for a free agent to finish with a positive record in the tournament and maybe could court a new stable off her performances.

Wiping her own eyes as tears start to flow. Hailey walks to the center of the ring, getting her left hand raised to make this victory official. She gives Henry a firm hug as a thank you for his support throughout the tournament and these past few years coaching her. Here comes the trophy and tiara. Hailey looking a worthy winner as she raises the trophy above her head and the tiara sits proudly atop her head.

Gold and silver confetti falls over the crowd and into the ring. Hailey is beaming as she kisses the trophy. Becoming the third ever winner alongside Camille Kostek and Robyn Lawley. Both who remember would go onto becoming the FCBA welterweight world champion. Happily Hailey also doesn't have to clean the confetti up before the other fights can take place as she gets a bottle of champagne handed to her. Giving it to Henry to hold and hinting at a bigger celebration later tonight at the hotel.
