BEFORE: Nina Dobrev's birthday card kicks off with fan favorite Jennifer Love Hewitt taking on Dollhouse cougar Katheryn Winnick who uses her Canadian passport to boost the home numbers. Carmen Electra hasn't set a long-term plan for Winnick who claims she's got plenty of juice left in the tank and she hopes to secure more cougar outings even if her contender status is questionable at this stage of her career. Meanwhile Hewitt believes she can still win some of these regular bouts as most fans want her to return to her jug muggin' playground and there is no firm denial from the Texas native for the time being.
Jennifer Love Hewitt wears a blue crop top, black hip-huggers & red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a half-up ponytail. Katheryn Winnick wears a red crop top, matching hip-huggers & white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.
Round 1:
Great start from J-Love who gets down to smack some jabs around the blonde's face and Katheryn is slow to get going before the brunette plucks her in the gut and shoves backwards to trigger a feisty exchange in the center of the ring. Katheryn tries to drill an overhand combo to stop the American cougar but Jennifer ducks underneath the effort and keeps working around her breadbasket instead. She drives the lethargic blonde back to the ropes where she adds to the slugging pounce and silences the Rogers Centre when she thumps Winnick in the navel and bends her into noticeable spasms that make Carmen Electra lose her temper in the VIP lounge already. J-Love keeps blasting the blonde's midriff until the referee pulls her away at the bell.
Round 2:
More of the same in the second, Jennifer surprises the local favorite with a speedy delivery and Katheryn simply has to switch into a higher gear to match the brunette's intensity. However it doesn't happen in this round either as Hewitt dominates the phone booth action and visibly hurts Winnick by thumping her to the body. Katheryn has to clinch the Texas native but still ends up hugging the ropes as J-Love really wants to showcase her mean spirit and blows up the blonde's defense against the odds. She drills her jugs to roll back some fan-favorite tape and leaves Winnick slumped on visibly soft knees come the bell. Uh-oh! Carmen is making her way down to the ring and she won't take any prisoners according to Erin Andrews in the booth.
Round 3:
Katheryn finally means proper business and rattles the brunette with a jabbing drive before looping a left cross on the brow ridge to drop Hewitt into mid-range coverage. The younger actress still wants to carry on with the earlier success but Winnick blocks her off with a hard combo up the middle and shuts down the body route that worked well for Jennifer before. She adds more juicy hooks up the middle and carves holes in Hewitt's high-guard until she backs her onto the ropes where the slugging response breaks down the Texas native into an earmuff cover. Ugh! Katheryn drives up the score thumping J-Love in the gut and taunts the partisan crowd into even loud cheers once the ref pulls her away at the bell.
Round 4:
Katheryn clearly feels the rhythm right now and she keeps piling more leather into Jennifer's face before blasting a left cross on the brow ridge again. J-Love stumbles to the side with a whimper and develops a nasty swelling around the area but still tries to halt the blonde's momentum only to fall into an overhand trap that drops her onto the ropes instead. Katheryn gets on with the pressure as she realizes there's no more time to be wasted here given how upset boss Carmen looked tonight already. She gives the Toronto fans something to cheer for when she knocks an uppercut combo on the chin and slumps J-Love sideways before abother jabbing rally rocks the brunette's head back & forth late in the run. Huh! A vicious belter catches the navel and bends the American into more spasms yet Winnick runs out of time to finish her off amid loud cheers from the Rogers audience.
Round 5:
Jennifer looks spend and tries to bide her time but Katheryn hassles her around the ring and scythes with more crossing shots to add more lumps to the brunette's face. Ugh! J-Love cannot keep up with this Canadian pounce and gets pounded back to the ropes where Winnick unleashes more body assault to cripple the younger foe into loud spasms again. J-Love tries to clinch the blonde but eats an uppercut double on the chin and SLIDES DOWN TO HER KNEES just past the one-minute mark. Uh-oh! She appears to be visibly rattled by that last series and cuts a shaky figure even when she beats the count at seven. Ref decides to give her another chance but she runs into a leather buzzsaw as Katheryn quickly pummels her onto the turnbuckle where she knocks her into stupor and the man in charge shows mercy at the last moment pulling Winnick off her prey before she punches Jennifer all the way back to Texas! TKO5 Katheryn Winnick!!!
AFTER: It seems like Katheryn is ready to run riot among the fellow bantam cougars but she concedes a slow start caught her off guard as J-Love showed enough guile to make it a competitive match for the fans. That wasn't the Dollhouse plan at all but one can't complain about securing the desired outcome in the end even though BLONDE! Magazine doesn't quite issue a perfect execution score for the Toronto-born actress. She pretends to ignore the B+ mark and claims "I can always do better next time! It's not like I'm too old for this crap because I am NOT!" (winks).
