Intro:
It's time for the debut of Ivanna Sakhno, the Ukrainian actress you might know from Star Wars TV show "Ashoka" as she plays Shin Hati. She hasn't picked an easy out as she takes on a woman who has also been in a Disney owned franchise in Marvel's Thor Movies as Lady Sif, Jaimie Alexander hopes to turn her career around after a rough few years to return back into that elite conversation, tonight in Madison Square Garden one of these two will take a big stride forwards.

Heading into the contest Ivana spoke to the FCBA Networks Lucy Liu over video chat. When the fight came up, Ivanna said "I respect what Jaimie has done over the years. She is a powerful woman and proven to be tough. I have trained hard for months with Rosario Dawson helping me with sparring and advice, I am confident all that hard work will be proven worthwhile when I step into the ring and defeat Jaimie."

While Ivanna is assured of herself. Jaimie is honest when she speaks to Alicia Atout on fight night in the media area. Jaimie said "look I'll admit my career hasn't been where I have wanted it in a while. I did beat Charlize Theron so I hope people are not signing my retirement papers for me." Grinning after saying that.

"I have watched Ivanna in Ashoka and I heard that Rosario is training with her. I can't look past Ivanna but I'd love a go at Rosario someday. For now I will go change, put my game face on and look to get the win" Jaimie tells Alicia before they embrace and Jaimie heads off to her locker room to change.

It's time for the bout! Ivanna comes out with Rosario and her coach behind her. Ivanna is wearing a black hooded robe with the hood up. A smile on her face as she looks to be enjoying the atmosphere. The robe comes off with help from Rosario to reveal a black sports bra with red stripes down the sides, red trunks, shoes and gloves, while her hair is in a ponytail. Into the ring she goes blowing a kiss to the nearest camera before hitting Rosario's hands as if they are punch pads to get psyched up.

Jaimie now heads down the aisle with her coach behind her. She looks in a fighting mood with her eyes locked on the ring in a tense stare. She soon climbs into the ring wearing a white sports bra with silver trim, matching trunks and shoes, silver gloves with her hair in a ponytail. Jaimie fist bumps her coach to show them she has got this.

Both women come to the middle of the ring, they square up with hands on their hips as both of these are proud women. Still they do respectful touch gloves and Jaimie wishes the younger woman a sincere good luck. Back in their corners, soon enough the bell rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Both women lock eyes in intense stares as they exchange stiff jabs to start. Jaimie looking to be the one to push the pace early with her straight hammering into the chest of Ivana to test her out. Ivanna catching Jaimie over the top with short left hooks as both get a feel for each other. The cracks of leather on flesh ring out as both land some meaty shots already.

Ivanna steps back out the way of a left hook, a counter right catches Jaimie on her nose. Ivanna coming at her with a left/right hook combo on the cheeks of the raven haired fighter to back her off. Jaimie finding herself being pressed back by the younger fighter as Sakhno is showing some bite.

Before Ivanna can get too comfortable, she gets caught with a jab on her nose. Jaimie steps inside and both dig their toes in as they exchange, predominantly to their opponents body. Grunts and groans heard as they trade. The bell rings with both nudging apart. Ivanna showing already she isn't afraid to get stuck in.

Round 2:
Back out they come with Jaimie looking to push the pace. Slamming in more body shots as Ivanna steps back when the heat gets a bit too much for her. Ivanna slams in a double jab to the forehead of her older foe to stop her charging through her. Both women fighting around the outside part of the ring as Jaimie looks to stay on the front foot.

Ivanna showing some inexperience as she doesn't notice the ropes close to her back, Jaimie dips down and pushes her back against them. Several hooks land around the cheeks of Ivanna. She is trying to slug back but needs to hold onto the veteran as she is getting mauled. Both women wrestling a bit as plenty of pride on the line here.

Broken up with just over a minute to go, Ivanna catches Jaimie a few times with straight punches to the face of Jaimie. Again Jaimie finds a way to press Ivanna back onto the ropes, testing her chin with short uppercuts till Ivanna can grab hold of her again. The round comes to an end with both looking hard at their opponent before walking to their corners.

Round 3:
Ivanna is using her footwork more to not get pinned down. Both women throwing two punch combos to try to push their opponent back. Ivanna catches Alexander with a double jab on the forehead before landing a straight into her face. Jaimie finding herself now being herded around the perimeter of the ring by the younger woman as Ivana looks confident and relaxed.

The Star Wars actress landing more punches cleaner through Jaimie's guard to her face. Jaimie landing a few punches off the back foot, still it is Ivanna pushing the pace through the second minute of the round. Jaimie grabbing hold of Ivanna when she gets a chance to slow down her opponent.

Split up with Jaimie quick off the mark. Jaimie stepping in to throw hooks to the body. Ivanna hissing as instead of backing off to create space, she stays in and both slug it out. Grinding foreheads till the round ends. Both are nudged apart with Ivanna not looking pleased by Jaimie trying to roughhouse her.

Round 4:
Slinging in more stiff single punches as she tries to push back the younger woman, Jaimie is getting caught around her face but she is able to deflect a straight to land one of her own into the lips of her opponent. Ivanna is crowded back into a neutral corner, where Jaimie throws piston like punches into the abs of the blonde to test them out.

Pushing Jaimie off with both her gloves on the shoulders of the Marvel star. Ivanna gets out the corner but not too far away from the ropes. Both letting their hands go to the delight of the crowd. Jaimie is keeping in close digging away at the body of her foe. Ivanna nudges back Jaimie to get into space with eyes full of fury.

Under forty seconds to go. Ivanna starts to put her combos back together again to pound the face of Jaimie. With the veteran not looking as comfortable as she is getting caught coming at Ivanna. At the bell Ivanna bangs her gloves together before marching back to her corner. Jaimie meanwhile sitting looking annoyed as she can't seem to subdue this young woman.

Round 5:
Banging in more punches through each others guard. Ivanna leans out the way of a looping right hook before pounding back a straight into the forehead of Jaimie. A left hook lands flush on the temple of Alexander to make her legs wobble. AN UPPERCUT THEN SENDS JAIMIE ONTO HER BACKSIDE!

Jaimie shaking her head blinking as Ivanna marches over to the neutral corner. 1....2....3... Jaimie turns to all four crawling to the ropes. 4....5....6... Jaimie grabbing the middle ropes. 7....8... Dragging herself to her feet, putting her fists up to show she wants to fight on.

They resume with Jaimie not looking too comfortable, especially getting smacked clean to her face. Soon enough an uppercut catches her on her chin to send her back into a neutral corner. IVANNA SENDS IN FLUSH PUNCHES SMACKING INTO THE FACE OF JAIMIE! A TOWEL FLIES IN FROM THE ALEXANDER CAMP AS THEY HAVE SEEN ENOUGH! REFEREE STEPS IN TO PUSH IVANA BACK TO WAVE THE FIGHT OFF!

Winner Ivanna Sakhno TKO Round 5

After:
A great start from Ivanna in her career to stop Jaimie. Arms in the air as she marches back over to her corner. Her coach and Rosario giving her a big hug as they look proud of her. Ivanna gets her gloves off and tells the nearest camera "this is just the start" pointing at herself.

Jaimie meanwhile leans against the turnbuckles holding each of the top ropes to hold herself up. She admits she got buzzed there as her coach checks her over. Helping her back over to her corner so she can sit down on her stool and take a breath to clear her head.

Once things cool down and both are cleaned up. They walk to the middle of the ring and Jaimie shows her class by offering her right hand to Ivanna. The blonde looks at it and maybe wasn't happy with Jaimie pushing her around in the fight, still she shakes the hand of Jaimie to show her respect.

Afterwards Ivanna gets her left hand raised in victory. Ivanna smiling warmly as she flexes her right arm. Jaimie nodding as she leaves the ring. Jaimie knows tonight simply wasn't her night. Jaimie getting patted on the back by some in the crowd as she has a lot of respect from them.

While the winner hugs her coach and Rosario again before she steps out the ring. This was a dream debut for Ivanna and it will be interesting to see how far she can go. With Rosario helping to teach her the skills needed to be a top fighter.
