Intro:
Two young boxers get to test each other out here in Beijings Wukesong Arena. Actress Millie Bobby Brown takes on social media and chess player star Andrea Botez. Millie is a former champion and is hoping to finish the year off strong to prove she deserves to be in the title hunt again. Andrea meanwhile is at the start of her career.

Andrea was the first to post a video about the fight. She is sitting at her desk with her red boxing gloves in front of her with the cheeky smile her fans have gotten used to. She says "I am fight Millie Bobby Brown in China in the boxing ring. How the hell did this happen! Oh my god I have watched Stranger Things and now I get to box Millie." She taps her gloves with both hands as she looks ready to explode in excitement.

She continues "I can't wait but I am ready to beat Millie. Been training hard and after my victory (against Rooney Mara). I just." Screaming with excitement. She taps her feet under the desk as she can't hide how much she wants this.

Millie is more subdued as she speaks to the press outside the lookout gym wearing a blue jacket, jeans and trainers. She jokes about the weather definitely getting cooler before being asked about her feelings towards Andrea. She smiles as she answers "I like Andrea. I have been watching her videos with her sister Alex and loving them both. When I watched the bout between Andrea and Michelle (Khare) I knew I had to fight her."

Grabbing the handle to the door of the gym. Millie looks to the press and says "I am going to train hard for this fight as I hope Andrea does. This is going to be a lot of fun but I am there to win, not to play chess." Winking as she opens the door and steps inside the gym to do her day of training.

Fight Night! Millie is first onto the stage to a cheer from her supporters. She has Julie Benz working her corner as they walk to the ring looking relaxed. Millie climbs into the ring wearing a navy blue sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, hair tied into a ponytail. Millie is told by Julie not to underestimate her opponent.

Andrea now walks down the aisle with her coach behind her. Andrea waves to the fans as she has a big smile on her cute face. Stepping into the ring wearing a red sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, hair tied into a ponytail. She takes a deep breath as she flexes for a camera that comes near her.

Both boxers jog to the middle of the ring for the final instructions as they stare each other down. Millie offers her fists but Andrea puts her arms out for a hug. Millie looks a little thrown off but chuckles as she accepts the hug. They both return to their corners taking a breath to get themselves back into the zone. The bell rings to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Out comes the fighters exchanging Jabs to start off. Andrea looking a little tentative against someone with such a better record then her own. While Millie holds off stepping in at first, she does so with a jab/straight combo square into the face of Andrea before stepping back to range when a left hook comes back her way.

Millie starts to land some nice combos together to back up Andrea. The chess star using more single punches as she tries to keep her guard tight. Millie drills in a nice one-two combo into the chest of Andrea, following with a right cross when the gates up of Andreas guard to slam her punch into her face.

While Botez has been pushed around over the opening two minutes; she does manage to block a straight and steps in with a short right hook on the chin of Millie, who takes a step back as Andrea now comes in with short hooks. It is a scruffy end to the round as they nearly clash heads in the exchanges, toes being stepped on as Andrea forces the issue to the bell.

Walking back to their corners, Millie is happy enough with her early work. Andrea meanwhile is told that she can't show too much respect to her opponent if she expects to win this contest. The fighters look at each other with a hard stare as both want to win this bout.

Round 2:
Andrea is coming out using more upper body movement, along with landing more crisply with her jab as she sticks and moves. Millie maybe seeing this as an easy contest is caught clean to her face more then her coach Julie would hope for. A left hook on the chin of Millie opens her up to a right cross square into her face to knock back the actress a step.

Herding Millie back to the ropes as she pounds away at the body, Andrea is starting to show how much she wants to win this after a timid first round. Millie nudged Andrea off her, landing a left hook into the cheek of Botez before landing a straight into her chest.

Both women are opening up more now with straight punches landing through guards to faces. Both fighters cheeks are marked up from the clean punches as they head towards the end of the round. When the bell rings there is a quick fist bump between the fighters before they walk back to their corners. Julie not happy with Millie for the sign of respect to her opponent, wondering how serious she is taking this clash.

Round 3:
Back at it they go with Andrea again proving a slick customer when she slips a few punches to land counters back into the face of Millie. Who steps back and circles Andrea with a bit of a surprised look. They exchange in close as Andrea looks to press her advantage. A clinch turns into grappling as Millie twists them around to pin her foe to the ropes, Andrea not looking happy by that as she asks "are we wrestling?" Showing tempers are slowly flaring up.

Resuming with Millie starting to put her punches together in a better fashion as Andrea loses her control for a moment. Paying for it with a three punch combo square into her face after missing with a left/right hooking drive. Millie looks to pin Andrea back but gets a shove to the chest to create the space for Andrea to get free of her.

There's definitely more spite to the punches between them. They head into the final thirty seconds with Botez dipping under a jab to ram home a short right hook into the ribs, followed by a left under the chin of Brown to knock her stumbling back two steps. Millie has to shell up as she is shoved onto the ropes. Andrea looking to pound her but Millie's defence mostly holds up to the assault. The round ends with a glare between the young women before they walk to their corners.

Round 4:
Being told off by Julie seems to refocus Millie as she comes off the blocks quicker. Firing more punches into the chest of Andrea to push her backwards. Andrea is like a terrier keep coming back to try to hammer back the former world champion. Millie getting caught with some hooks around her guard for her troubles.

By the end of the opening minute of the round, Millie lands a straight down the barrel into Andrea's nose to cause blood to trickle from it. Andrea covers up more tightly as she is pinned back against the ropes. Millie using her advantage to pound at the flanks of her opponent till she is held onto. The referee is needed to split them up as a few curse words are exchanged between the boxers.

Once apart they resume with Andrea furiously coming back at Millie. While Andrea lands some hard shots, she is eating more in return as she is too open at the moment. The bell rings with Andrea needing to be held back by the referee as she angrily tries to get at Millie. As her nose is being patched up, Andrea is told to calm down before she gets herself knocked out.

Round 5:
Trading stiff jabs to start; Andrea's nose is soon bleeding again from the straight shots of her opponent. Millie crashes a right hook against the jaw of Andrea to make her stumble two steps backwards. Millie jumps right on her to bully back Andrea into a neutral corner with hooks around her guard as it looks like the former champion is going to stamp her authority on this contest.

After clinching up with Millie, Andrea looks relieved to have the space to work again after they are broken up. Millie keeping the pressure on herds Andrea around the outside part of the ring. Blood dripping from the social media stars nose onto her chest as she gets caught to it and made to grimace with each clean hit.

As the round enters the final thirty five seconds and Andrea looks to be getting pinned to the ropes. She shows her fight with an uppercut that catches Millie flush to the chin to knock her head backwards. Andrea begins hammering in hooks to make Millie stumble backwards till her back touches the opposite set of ropes. Andrea really lays it in as Millie shells up.

The bell dings to end proceedings with Andrea just about holding back. There's a little shoving between the two young women as the referee gets between them. Millie is warned by Julie not to lose her temper as she is the elite fighter here. Andrea meanwhile gets cleaned up as she stares furiously at her foe. This has certainly changed from Andrea wanting to hug Millie to her wanting to take her head off.

Round 6:
Pushing off their stools to resume. Andrea is pushing the pace up a notch as she makes it more a slugfest in close. Millie looks a little thrown off as she is caught with a few straight punches to her forehead. She comes back with a few hooks but they don't all land flush.

Second minute of the round. Millie gets nudged to the ropes with a left forearm to the chest. A sweeping right hook on her chin twists her head around as sweat goes flying. A LEFT HOOK PUTS MILLIE DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE TO SHOCK FROM THE CROWD!

Walking over to the neutral corner, Andrea wipes some fresh blood from her nostrils as she breaths more from her mouth. 1....2....3... Millie shakes her head to clear it as her fans chant for her to get up. 4....5....6... Millie grabs the ropes behind her to begin pulling herself up. 7....8.. She is up with both fists raised to show the referee she isn't done yet. Andrea banging her gloves together in frustration at not ending things now.

They fight on with Andrea trying to rush Millie at times, missing though with her big punches as Millie smartly uses her jabs and straights to not let that happen. They end up tangled up in a clinch and trip to the canvas, Andrea not happy as she kicks the canvas with her right foot as she sits and stares angrily at Millie pushing to her feet with some help from the referee. Andrea is up and they exchange in the dying moments of the round to the bell.

Millie is told off by Julie, who simply isn't finding this performance acceptable by her protégé. Andrea meanwhile is being told not to rush the finish, she is reminded that she has proven she can hurt Millie here.

Round 7:
Back up to their feet; the fighters are trading around the middle of the ring. Millie keeps catching Andrea trying to load up with jab/straight punches into her face, showing the less experienced fighter that she will be punished if she keeps trying that. Andrea though wants to win this as she bumps Millie to the ropes with her left forearm. Millie digging her right fist into the side of her foes head as she traps her right arm with her left.

Millie is showing that championship experience as she is turning things around on Andrea. Using the hyper active chess players momentum against her to plug her punches into her face. Andrea not thinking as much as she should be. Especially as her nose is hit with a clean double jab to make her cry out.

Less then a minute to go and Brown seeing her chance to go on the offensive after landing a clubbing right hook to the chin of Botez. That rocked the smaller boxer as a left hook follows, A CLEAN RIGHT CROSS TO THE NOSE OF ANDREA SENDS HER DOWN ONTO HER BACK WITH TEARS RUNNING DOWN HER CHEEKS TO THE CANVAS!

Millie takes a quick breath before walking to the neutral corner. 1....2....3... Andrea rolls to her front with tears dripping to the canvas along with blood. 4....5....6....7... Andrea reaches for the ropes in front of her but she is short of them. 8... Shaking her head looking annoyed to say the least at the situation. 9... Andrea falls back to sit on her bum as 10 she is counted out!

Winner Millie Bobby Brown KO Round 7

After:
That certainly wasn't a cake walk for the former FCBA flyweight champion. Millie turns to the crowd and yells "come on!" To loud cheers from those who paid to see her. She jogs back to her corner, where Julie warns her not to be overly happy with this performance. It looks like Millie can expect a chewing out when they get back to the locker room.

Andrea on the other hand has a towel with an ice pack in it placed on her nose. She is helped to her corner and her gloves are taken off. After a minute her team place tissue paper up her nose as she admits it stings like a bytch. Her coaches are complimentary of her performance as she just took someone who is classed as a prodigy by most to a hard fought battle.

Both women come to the center of the ring once they are cleaned up. Millie gets her left hand raised in the air as Andrea looks upset by the loss. As Andrea goes to leave, Millie rushes over to tap her on her right shoulder. Andrea turns around shocked, wondering what is going to come. Millie opens her arms with a smile and Andrea can't help but giggle before accepting the hug.

Afterwards Andrea steps out the ring with some help. She walks to the back waving to the crowd. While tonight was a loss, she learned valuable experience and showed fans that she can handle herself against the best in the division. Maybe impressing a manager tonight or at least earning herself more fights going forwards.

In the ring Millie waves to the fans as she does a lap inside it. This wasn't her best performance but she showed the grit that had made her such a rapid force in the division. Most likely a future Hall of Fame level talent. She soon steps out the ring with a smile as she walks to the back. Hoping to finish the year on a strong note by showing her rivals who the face of this division is.
