Before: Odds&Ends’ flagship fighter has been poison for Yvonne since popping up on her radar in 2017, ending a three-year streak where she held the Tiffany gold at least once every year, then ruining her cougar division debut in 2022. It’s a black mark on a Hall-of-Fame career, and one she’s vowed to correct in the cougar part of her history: “She’s just Winnie with an accent. Sure, she CAN beat me, but there’s no reason I can’t beat her as well. It’s my time to end this”
Adriana on a low streak after losing to Garner in the Jaguar title semis, looking to pull out on a consistent W: "I don't know why she's so cocky, she's got skill and heart, I'm not denying that, but I've got the wins and ring-minutes that say I'm the better woman coming in. I have her respect, and by the end, I'll have her heart as well!"

R1: Orderly first minute dominated by Adriana, she chases around the ring, walking her down. Sixty seconds in, Strahovski stretches her torso into abrupt lefts and rights: elbows in close to her body as she chops at Lima’s face. Adriana stunned, backing up: Yvonne stepping-with, PASTING! Lima driven to ropes, head on a bobble, tries to earmuff up and stoop forward but a vicious series of right uppercuts beats her breasts and face, punching her upright. Final minute, Lima loosening, arms gull-winged, hands out to either side as Yvonne BATTERS HER WITHOUT MERCY! Just one girl standing another up and clobbering her senseless. Terrible shellack applied to Adriana’s jawlines, bouncing her head about. Lima’s legs locked, tummy trembling as she slouches hurrrrrt against ropes. Straho in slugger-frenzy—eyes wide, teeth bared: ref has to pull her away from behind after the bell.
R2: Adriana flat footed, still woozy, but she’s stabilizing, Yvonne gassed, blocking poke while retreating and circling: Lima able to walk her blonde down and get strong. Lima stepping into straight-jamming right hands—blocked up top, but occupying Straho’s guard, let’s her hook torso low to right side—good stiff punch, landing clean—Adriana making some headway as Yvonne looks punched out after last round.
R3: Adriana continues to outpunch Yvonne as pace slows, becoming more methodical/determined. Strahovski not so willing to give up sand, she’s laying in behind her mitts, bumping guards with Lima, clashing shoulders with her, churning scrum kicking up plenty of sand. Adriana lashing in spots—left and rights chopping in side-to-side on Yvonne’s face and chest: blonde very brave as Lima’s scoring—just covering up, riding it out, then answering. Adriana busier—lathering blonde flanks and head, pushing consistently forward.
R4: Adriana forward again, Yvonne looking slightly unnerved as Brazilian keeps mounting steady pressure. Lima's lashing punches continue as she knocks her way in behind the jab, then hacks at her blonde. Strahovski now being struck cleanly along her jawlines, smote across her breasts, dug up along her waist. Adriana in close, dips her right shoulder and chips short, six-inch right uppercuts, mopping up with hooks: Yvonne getting pasted in the exchanges, starts to unravel. Minute and a half in, Strahovski staggers away from punishment: wobbly-butt, disheveled. Lima quickens her stepping pace a smidge - walking Yvonne down, chopping a short right to jaw, then picking her up jagged, short left uppercuts 2 and 3 at a time. Straho flabbergasted at Adriana's constant leather: brunette stays on her, hounding blonde prey. Ropes: Yvonne sitting in cables, legs in wide A-frame, torso bent forward as she tries to slip incoming: Lima looming atop her as she chops, hacks, chips, scrubs away and YVONNE GOES DOWN! Exhausted blonde drops to hands and knees, panting - she beats the count, but Adriana's smiling huge, hopping in the corner with her hands at her sides.
R5: Puffy-faced, busted up Yvonne grimly determined, she wades into Adriana overhand right/clubbing lefts, classy blonde girl brawling the fight into ropes. Cougars fighting off each other’s chests – Lima’s hands pushing at Strahovski's inner elbows or hips, then slopping on thick right/left bombardments. OH THE ATTRITION! Both fighters mouthbreathing - gorgeous long bodies getting bullied, pushed and stacked, then battered...Adriana's limp-limbed - pushing at Vonnie, sometimes covering up, shuddering under the wallop. Straho able to sustain a FEROCIOUS pounding of her rival but both fighters greatly reduced by the relentless onslaught.
R6: Hall-of-Fame blondecontinues to feel pressure, Yvonne’s back foot under bottom rope as she fights one step off the ropes. Adrianay aggressively hacking and lashing away: bobbing; jabbing Straho's chest; HAMMERING that right hand low to the right side, then quickly trying to hook-chin on follow up. Yvonne grimacing, stiff-legged, but working: HER jab's finding Lima's mouth; slick right hands continue to paste left side of Adriana's face; nasty left hook off the back leg pasting Brazilian's jugs to good effect.
R7: Adriana plows right back in, but she’s arm weary: Yvonne able to soak the first pumping body blows and shove her way back outside. Strahovski grim-faced and hurting: she’s hunkering down, putting her jab on Lima, stepping right to keep the fight moving, opening up a subtle angle on the brunette, lands a clean right cross over left shoulder: Adriana buckles, but refuses to open the range, then straightens to hook chin. Girls trade right hands, but Vonnie’s is first: Lima’s sails over top and SHE’S HURT! Adriana’s lithe body whipsawing, suddenly all loose, hands dropping: Yvonne sets her feet, swipes a wide timing hook upside Brazilian’s head to range-in, then drops the pulverizing straight right. Lima’s head kicks back—mouthpiece shooting straight up into the air and ADRIANA GOES DOWN! Lima flat on her back, arms outstretched—as KO’d as a girl can be. Strahovski’s chest heaving, legs unsteady as she glares down at the glistening brown body, relaxing into stupor under the hot Mexican sun. KO7 as Yvonne finally chalks one up against Lima!
After: Winstead/Lima back-to-back, Vonnie’s 2023 is shaping up to be a year of settling accounts!
