Intro:
We kick off tonight's action here in the Barclays Center in New York with a feud that begun in 2020. Footage emerged of Ashley Graham and Alanah Pearce fighting at a bar. Ashley came out on top of that. Question now is who will come out on top with the gloves on?
Why are they fighting now? Well rumours came out saying that the reason they didn't fight was Alanah's management stopped her battling the big American hitter. Her stable shut down in 2021 and Alanah has been struggling to get on a run. With text messages between her and her stable randomly being released.
One of the messages said "you don't think I can knock that fat c**t out?! So much for believing in me. Ashley can only win if she ambushes you." Which sparked a bit of interest in both fighting it out. Alanah's trying to claim it wasn't her who released the texts. While others think she did to get the fight and the money to go with the hype building back around it.
Ashley posted on her own social media "oh this dumb bimbo blonde? I thought I shut you up three years ago. I remember the look on your face when I was kicking your ass. So if you are trying to get a fight with me after all this time. Then bring it on honey." Clearly keen on the fight herself. With it agreed not long after as the FNL organisers offered them contracts to fight.
Fight night. Ashley is the first out on the aisle. She has her coach following as she walks down the aisle wearing a white satin robe with black trim. Tapping her black gloves together as she looks serious. She gets help with the robe after she steps into the ring in her corner. Revealing she is wearing a white sports bra, white trunks with a black waistband, white shoes, while her hair is tied into a braid.
Out comes Alanah now with her coach following her. She walks down the aisle with her eyes firmly on the ring. Not rushing down as she walks around the ring towards her corner. Stepping through the ropes wearing an emerald green sports bra, matching trunks and shoes, black gloves, while her hair is in a ponytail. She bounces on her toes as she stares hard at Ashley.
They move to the center of the ring for the final instructions to be read out. Ashley staring up at Alana, who stares right back down her with an intense fury. They slam their gloves into their opponents set with a crack of leather. Walking back to their corners. The bell soon rings to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.
Round 1:
Off they go with Alanah looking to keep Ashley at range. Feeling some of the power of the plus sized model early on. Both drilling punches as they move around the ring. Alanah lands a double jab into the face of Ashley to snap her head back. Just missing with a right hook as Ashley gets her mitts up in time. Alanah looking happier to step after her opponent.
A straight lands under the chin of Alanah. She follows with a left hook on the jaw of Alanah to turn her head. Alanah finding herself pressed back onto the ropes, hooks landing around the ribs of the younger woman. Who hisses out with each clean hit. Being pinned down till Pearce can grab a hold of her opponent to slow her down and force the referee to step in to pry them apart.
While Alanah is punching from the back foot. She is getting caught with some power shots around her guard. Cheeks getting marked up by Ashley. Pushing back Ashley before landing a jab/straight combo late in the round to show her fighting spirit. The bell rings to end the round with both women walking back to their corners. Locking eyes across the ring as they sit on their stool.
Round 2:
Alanah is back out her corner moving towards the left side of her opponent. Drilling in several clean hits around the cheek and forehead of Graham. Who is swinging in left hooks to try to keep Alanah in front of her. Just missing as Alanah leans her head out the way.
A straight catches Alanah on her lips. Ashley stepping in to bang away at the side of her foes body to make Alanah grit her mouthpiece. Nudging back Ashley with her left forearm. Alanah lands a right hook onto the side of her head to force her opponent back. Alanah slamming in from range. Getting clipped from punches from Ashley who is showing she is dangerous.
Knocking back Ashley with a straight into her forehead. Alanah presses her back to the ropes. Looking to unload but is being met by resistance. Both slamming in punches around the others face. Crowd roaring them out as the crack of leather rings out. The round comes to an end with Alanah looking a little more relaxed as she sits on her stool. Both getting marked up as both girls are not holding back in this big girl clash.
Round 3:
Slamming in punches straight from the off. Ashley looking to close the distance on her blonde rival earlier, getting shoved back by the taller woman. Who slams in a straight to the nose to cause a trickle to the nostrils of Graham. Alanah slamming in a follow up jab/straight to knock back her opponent to the outside part of the ring.
Alanah definitely looks more looser with her punches. Smacking Ashley with two to three punch combos as she switched up her targets. Ashley still landing some thudding punches in return. Showing her toughness as Alanah stares hard at her. It is Alanah looking the happier though as Ashley can get too far away from the ropes.
Less then forty seconds to go. A left cross catches Pearce on her chin. Ashley gets right into her face to work away. With Ashley driving back Alanah into a neutral corner. Before she can really unload though the bell rings. Ashley mouthing "f**k" before she turns to her corner. Alanah on the other hand looks to be getting the better of things now she is throwing punches in bunches to outwork Ashley.
Round 4:
Tapping her cheeks before she comes back out. Ashley is crouching more as she fires in punches around the chest of her opponent. Showing a different look to what she has so far to try to throw off the younger woman. Who missed with her early set of punches before she lands more around the forehead of Ashley.
An overhand left catches Alanah out as it lands flush on her cheek. Sending some saliva and sweat flying. It looks the best of the fight so far. With Ashley knocking back Alanah to her heels. Powering forwards as Alanah tries to shell up. Needing to hold onto Ashley to slow her down. Referee steps in to break them up.
Alanah looking a little more wide eyed after that. Being hit more as she isn't throwing enough to dissuade her. A left cross lands under the eye of the blonde. Causing swelling as Alanah backs off grimacing. The round comes to an end with Ashley walking to her corner with a bit more of a hard look to her face now. Alanah needing a pep talk from her coach to settle any nerves she has after that round.
Round 5:
Back out they come with Alanah looking to get back on top of things. Landing early around the nose of Ashley. Causing more blood to flow from her nostrils as Ashley winces. Before she can get too comfortable as a jab lands into the swelling around her right eye to make her hiss in return. Both cruelly punching at each others wounds.
Alanah lands a double jab and a straight into Ashley's face. Pushing back two steps. Alanah driving her onto the ropes. Where she is swinging in hooks. Several are blocked before Ashley can clinch up. Referee stepping in to break them up as they start bashing in kidney shots, being warned to keep things on the up and up.
Final minute sees Alanah look to keep the pressure on. She walks into a jab on her chin. Ashley coming back at her in this hard fought round. Alanah needing to back off and box on the back foot. Catching Ashley on her nose to slow her down. The round comes to an end with Pearce looking more composed after getting back some control that round. Both sweating harder now as they get wiped down and cleaned up.
Round 6:
Resuming the action with Alanah exchanging at range. Ashley though lands a straight into her lips, followed up by a left hook onto her jaw. Alanah finding it hard to push off Ashley as the brunette looks like she wants to force the issue before it gets away from her. A left hook landing on the eye of Alanah makes her cry out. SHE DOESN'T SEE THE UPPERCUT TILL IT LANDS FLUSH! GUMSHIELD FLYING OUT AS ALANAH CRUMBLES TO THE CANVAS! NO NEED FOR A COUNT AS SHE IS OUT COLD!

After:
Arms in the air as she roars to her fans. Ashley showing she truly does own Alanah when it comes to fighting. Standing over the beaten woman as she yells "this is what you get for being a sh*t stirrer!" Pointing at Alanah. Who most likely hasn't heard a word she said. Still she had to say her piece before returning to her corner to be wiped down.
The coach of Pearce rushed in to check on her. The ringside doctor soon stepping into the ring as Alanah is out like a light. It takes another thirty seconds before she stirs awake from smelling salts. Blinking as she asks where she is. Not exactly what the doctor and her coach wants to hear.
After some checks she is helped out the ring carefully. Her legs are not the most stable they have been to say the least. Getting taken to the backstage area as tonight is another reminder of how hard these big women hit each other. Alanah will most likely regret getting this fight when she comes back to reality.
Ashley doesn't seem to care as she gets cleaned up. Gloves taken off with a beautiful smile. Even as her cheeks are reddened. She walks to the center of the ring to get her right hand raised in victory. Her supporters cheering her on as she flexes her arms.
Climbing out the ring. Ashley high fives a few of her supporters at ringside. Nodding to them as she walks to the backstage area with her coach. Ashley is one of those fighters who if given a push could be a real danger in the division. All that matters for her tonight is she has settled for her a long running grudge. |
