BEFORE: Time for some veteran action as Cassidy Freeman returns to the ring to face Elle MacPherson who might be years removed from her prime but can still throw a mean punch in the right circumstances. This is Freeman's first FCBA fight since she turned 40 years old and most pundits wonder how long she keeps going now that she's no longer part of the divisional elite. Then again Boxing World Online ranks her at #23 in the 130+ lbs standings which is higher than the likes of Karlie Kloss and Hannah Davis both whom are widely considered as supreme prospects these days.

LCA coach Claudia Schiffer knocked the Australian model out in four rounds last year and claims the Illinois native should cover the 4.5 spread with ease tonight but Downunder entourage hopes to cause one more upset instead.

Cassidy Freeman wears a red crop top, black hip-huggers & red gloves. Long auburn red hair tied in a braid. Elle MacPherson wears a light blue crop top, white hip-huggers & blue gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Neither woman is happy to push the early jabbing tempo and the first round is lethargic to the extreme before Cassidy actually tries to score some easy points by throwing punches to the blonde's body but this is one area when a woman nicknamed 'The Body' just isn't vulnerable even at this stage of her career. Elle responds flicking a couple of hooks over the top but she only grazes the American's forehead and some pundits wonder why she's not showing much offense here since durability is the last thing you seek in cougar fights on purpose. If the Aussie plan is to catch Freeman with one of these haymakers then it's a risky deal and MacPherson gets bumped to the ropes late on instead as Cassidy sticks more leather to her body to raise more eyebrows around the arena.

Round 2:
Elle flies in with the overhand heater and knocks Cassidy's head back with a solid combo before locking her down in a phone booth tangle. Blonde enjoys a reach advantage but settles for a half-uppercut route to sting the redhead which leads into a back & forth exchange as the actress rips some noteworthy shots into the blonde's rack. Ugh! Elle appears to feel that a little more but then she lands the best punch of the lot and gives Freeman a small cut under the left eye before finally dropping more aerial bombs to move the redhead off her comfort zone. Cassidy steps away into mid-range and weaves around the model's subsequent attack; Elle stalks her around the area but doesn't have the leg speed to catch her in a genuine trap along the ropes for remainder of the round.

Round 3:
Another back & forth exchange in the center of the ring allows Elle to knock more leather into Cassidy's face and the Aussie cougar settles in well to slice through a shockingly suspicious high-guard in the opening minute. Cassidy just can't smack it back at the older woman and seeks a very disappointing clinch which makes coach Schiffer furious in the LCA corner. MacPherson actually shoves Freeman onto the ropes through supreme core strenght and gashes her with some low blows that stay above the waist-line anyway. She cripples the actress into quiet spasms as she drills the exposed midsection but misses on the put away uppercut and falls into a lenghty clinch come the final minute. Woof. Cassidy truly looks like a past-prime fighter here and there are some loud words exchanged in the LCA corner during the break.

Round 4:
Cassidy wakes up to BLAST a left hand into the blonde's mouth seconds into the fourth and then wraps her into a slugging vacuum that completely overwhelms the high-guard. Elle stops this high-octane delivery with her face and gets knocked onto her heels as if her footwork wasn't inferior to begin with. Cassidy keeps pounding away until she tags the blonde on each temple to slump her into a chin-shattering uppercut bomb just past the one-minute mark. DOWN GOES ELLE MAC!!! The Aussie model gets laid out with her eyes closed and drifts into a mumbling reality as the count is quickly waved off at six with even Nikki Visser accepting her compatriot's fate. KO4 Cassidy Freeman!!!

AFTER: The former welterweight champion matches Claudia Schiffer's performance from January 2021 but that's maybe not a good thing for Cassidy who looked vulnerable in rounds two & three to begin with. She knows that was as low-key victory as it gets and that Top 25 ranking is basically inflated on reputation. But it's time to put a brave face on and she admits that fighting Hannah Davis is a reasonable possibility with the welterweight division crowded by these voluptuous models otherwise: "It's not like I'm hiding from anyone. If they pick my number I will do my best to knock them out. I still have that one-punch magic in me, it's just boxing isn't all about that anymore".
