Intro:
Team American for another year is on the back foot against the Rest of the World team. Nabilla Benattia will be hoping to recapture the success of the team from last year by winning the event for her team now. Ireland Baldwin has to step up to the plate looking to tie the event up.

In the locker rooms of the Abu Dhabi's Etihad Stadium. The captain's are giving pep talks to their fighters. In the ROW team locker room Lily James hugs Jodie Comer and tells Nabilla "Jodie has set you up. I will be happy for you to take the glory." Both English girls fist bump Nabilla to show their support.

The American locker room is more depressed looking. Taylor Swift tells the girls "look we are down but we are not beat. Me and Ireland are going to win this. So keep supporting us!" Ireland smiling as Elizabeth Olsen nods along.

Fighting time. Nabilla steps out with a grin as she looks confident she will be the one to win the cup for her team. She struts down the aisle as Sharon follows behind with a smile. Climbing into the ring wearing navy blue sports bra, matching shoes and gloves, with a French flag pattern trunks, hair tied into a braid. She jogs around the inside of the ring waving to the crowd to get her supporters cheering.

Ireland now heads out with Elizabeth following her. Ireland tapping her red gloves together as she looked fired up. She is wearing a red sports bra and shoes, American flag pattern trunks, her hair tied into a ponytail as she steps into the ring. She stares over at Nabilla with a hard look on her beautiful face.

They walk to the center of the ring with Ireland staring down at Nabilla. They intensely lock eyes with gloves on their hips. When told to touch gloves Ireland hammers hers down on top of Nabilla to show her no respect. Nabilla looking furious as that certainly wasn't what she expected. Ireland ignores her pouting face as she walks back to her corner. Nabilla marches back over to her own corner. The bell soon rings to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
Off they go with Ireland looking to establish her reach early on. Landing a few clean jabs around the forehead of Nabilla, who is looking to get inside early to work the body of Ireland. Both having some success when it isn't a scruffy affair. They are proud women after all and neither wants to take a backwards step to other. Problem for Benattia is she gets clocked to the side of her head with a right hook to make her take two steps to her right.

Ireland is pounding in several good clean shots from range. Holding the middle of the ring as Nabilla is forced around the perimeter of the ring. Nabilla gets a few solid body shots in but she is being kept at bay for the most part. Annoying the French woman as she opens up and eats a jab/straight clean into her face for her troubles.

A double jab lands square into the face of Nabilla to knock her onto the ropes. Ireland grinning as she steps in to try to pound the lights out of her opponent. Nabilla comes back at her with two sneaky uppercuts to her jugs. Ireland didn't expect that as she goes back a step. Nabilla then lands an overhand right to the cheek of the taller fighter as she shows she has plenty of fight in her. Soon the bell rings with both women scowling at each other. Ireland started brilliant but was caught out there.

Round 2:
Resuming the action with both women still glaring behind their gloves. Nabilla is getting another taste of the task in front of her as she takes several clean punches over the top to her forehead to snap her head back. Needing to time her attacks as she crouches down under a straight to move inside, working away with hooks to the body before she is pushed back to range and the dance begins again.

A straight into the chest of Ireland opens her up to an overhand left to her jaw. Nabilla pushes right into her opponents grill. Pounding her around her jugs as much as her ribs as Ireland doesn't look to be enjoying it one bit. Grabbing a hold of Nabilla to slow her assault down. The referee steps in as both women hiss insults at each other without breaking themselves.

Less then forty seconds to go. While Nabilla has had real success now. Ireland still isn't giving her a free pass to get on the inside, a right cross catching Nabilla around the side of her head. Ireland soon has Nabilla driven into a neutral corner as she shows her teeth. The bell rings to end the round. Benattia looks fired up to really take the fight to her opponent. Ireland not exactly shrinking to the challenge as they lock eyes across the ring in a venomous stare.

Round 3:
They step back out with more thudding punches being exchanged. Neither is playing around here as cracks of leather can be heard when they land flush. Nabilla being more forceful to try to close that distance between them. Really taking the fight to the taller woman, especially as she uses her JMDD experience on Ireland to make the American snarl.

Ireland nudges her back and pounds in a jab/straight to send Nabilla back a step. Nabilla soon finds herself pinned to the ropes as Ireland calls her a "c**t" to show how much the French woman is getting under her skin. Nabilla lands a few hooks out her guard but is mostly being kept back. Forced to hold onto Baldwin to get some breathing room after they are split apart.

On comes Baldwin hoping to keep the pressure on her foe. Instead Nabilla soon ducks under a straight, hammer in a short right to the belly button of Ireland, she follows with a left hook up top to smack the blonde on her chin to twist her head around. Ireland now the one finding herself driven into a neutral corner. Where Ireland shells up as Nabilla looks to break her apart to the body.

The bell rings to end the round with both women knowing they are in a fight. Ireland tapping her gloves together showing her fury at not being able to pin down Nabilla for a long time. Nabilla meanwhile isn't exactly happy her cheeks are marked up. Teeth are bared to each other when their gumshields come out.

Round 4:
Pushing off their stools to engage. Elizabeth looks tense as Ireland isn't boxing much at range now, she looks to be wanting to land a big shot in close. Problem with that of course is that Nabilla is more compact of the two. Soon enough a left hook to the ribs opens up Ireland to an uppercut that rocks her back three steps. Nabilla smelling blood in the water drives Ireland into a neutral corner as she pounds away at her.

While the referee watches closely. Ireland grabs a tight a hold of Nabilla to slow her down. Referee needed to break them up and warns Benattia of using her left forearm under the chin of her foe to bend her back. They resume with Ireland still a little shell shocked to have been caught like that. Nabilla keeping the heat on as she steps after Ireland.

Single punches coming back from Ireland as she looks to ward off Nabilla. A straight into the abs of Ireland opens her up to a left hook her jaw. Pinning back the blonde to the ropes with seconds left in the round. At the bell Ireland shakes her head as Elizabeth needs to get her to sit down and listen to her. Has the schedule she has been on this year caught up? She only fought two days ago after all. Nabilla giving her a cruel smirk.

Round 5:
Coming back out with Nabilla looking to land a power punch from the off. Ireland having to be smart as she backs off and slings in straight punches. Nabilla slips inside to pound at the body of Ireland. Muscling her back over to the ropes. Holding onto Nabilla to slow her down.

They resume moments later with Nabilla walking in and getting caught with a left hook. Ireland stepping back as Nabilla swings in a left hook of her own. A straight lands into the face of the French woman. A left/right hook land on her cheeks as mistakes are starting to come from Benattia.

A left hook turns Nabilla's head. Ireland has the bit between her teeth as she soon opens a cut above the right eyebrow of Nabilla. Who is being herded around the perimeter as Ireland is hammering her through her mitts. The round comes to an end with both women having hurt each other this fight. Nabilla hissing as her cut is worked on. Ireland has an ice pack on her body as she snarls as this has been a true hard hitting welterweight clash.

Round 6:
Resuming with both trying to push forwards. A straight slams into the face of Nabilla to snap her head back as some blood flies off. A LEFT HOOK OPENS UP NABILLA TO A NASTY LOOKING UPPERCUT AS NABILLA'S HEAD SNAPS BACK! DOWN CRUMBLES BENATTIA TO HER BACK!

Ireland raises her arms into the air as she stares hard down at Nabilla. She needs to be nudged back by the referee over to the neutral corner. 1....2....3... Nabilla groans as her mouthpiece hangs over her mouth. 4....5....6....7... Nabilla isn't moving as her eyes are shut! 8....9...10 it's obvious it is all over!

Winner Ireland Baldwin KO Round 6

After:
The personal clash is over as Ireland yells "yes! F**k you Nabilla!" At her rival, even if Nabilla maybe can't really understand what she is saying. Returning to her corner to be met with a pat on her right arm by Elizabeth. Who tells her "great comeback!"

While Nabilla needs to be checked over by Sharon and the ringside doctor. They manage to bring her back to reality with smelling salts. Nabilla understandably is pissed off she lost. As she tries to get up though she stumbles back over to her bum as her legs are like jelly.

Ireland is laughing as she sees Nabilla is needing to be helped out the ring. Taken to the backstage area so she can be checked over. Certainly plenty of ill feeling between these two. Don't be surprised if they might share a ring again someday.

But all that matters for tonight is that Ireland has tied things up again for Team USA. She gets her right hand raised by the referee at the center of the ring. This year has certainly been an interesting one for her. She is showing flashes of brilliance with some bad performances. Tonight she showed grit to overcome a tough opponent.

She leaves the ring with Elizabeth to her right side. Both smiling as the weight is off their shoulders of a repeat of last year's failure by the team at this stage. Now it comes down to captain versus captain. Lily James Vs Taylor Swift for the International Cup. Which team leaves with the trophy?
