Intro:
Second bout tonight sees the classic young Vs veteran battle. Dafne Keen looks to stay undefeated and keep learning her craft. She faces the former FCBA flyweight champion Anna Kendrick. Who has to go back to December 2020 to find her last victory; that was over Mila Kunis. They fight inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Dafne posted on her social media account "I am looking forwards to fighting you Anna. You have always been kind to me but in that ring I have to keep showing that I am growing as a fighter. No hard feelings I hope." Not normally the most talkative but she clearly felt the need to show respect and friendliness to her opponent.

Anna meanwhile was asked for a word in her locker room by the FCBA Networks Alicia Atout about this fight. Anna told Alicia "Dafne is a good kid. She has started pretty well in her career but I am not here to be the latest name on her résumé. We can be friends after the bout of course. In that ring though I need to remind people that I was once seen as the best fighter in the flyweight division." Showing her motivation has died down with defeats over the last few years.

Fighting time. Dafne is out first with Ming-Na Wen to her right. Dafne taps her black gloves as she walks down the aisle. She is wearing a black sports bra with white trim, matching trunks and shoes, hair tied into a ponytail as she climbs into the ring. Ming-Na taps her gloves as she tells her she be at her best.

Anna coming now with her coach behind her. Anna smiling as she enjoys her supporters cheers. She looks relaxed as she steps inside the ring. Anna is wearing a white sports bra with light blue trim, matching trunks and boots, light blue gloves, her hair tied into ponytail too. She bounces on her toes as she looks across the ring at Dafne with a nod to her.

The fighters jog to the middle of the ring. They both look calm as they listen to the referees instructions. Respectfully they bump gloves with their opponent before heading off to their corners. The bell rings to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
There's a respectful start to proceedings, trying to get the range right and tapping gloves as much as landing on cheeks. Dafne soon steps inside to land three quick fire punches before she moves back when she gets hit. Anna tries to come back at Dafne in a similar manner but Dafne dances out of danger while they both land a stiff jab to their opponents cheeks.

Daphne is dancing in range to work; landing more punches when they exchange before she moves back to the outside. Anna lands a few crisp punches from the outside as she shows her precision punching as she lands through gaps she sees in her foes defences.

Less then a minute to go. Anna just misses with a left cross, Dafne counters with a straight into her left cheek, following up with a jab/right cross to push back the veteran. Anna finding herself pushed towards the ropes as Keen is putting the pressures on her in the last twenty seconds. Anna covers up to soak up that pressure before the bell rings. Dafne looked to have warmed up the better of the pair. Anna sits on her stool not looking worried about it as she shows her experience.

Round 2:
Anna coming out more quickly to try match the intensity of the younger woman out the gates. Dafne boxing around the perimeter throwing straight punches as both try to land the cleaner punches. Each scoring nicely till Anna lands a crisp straight into the lips of her foe to push her onto the ropes.

Pinning down Keen as she works away with a mixture of punches, making it hard for Dafne to protect herself. Kendrick pressuring the younger woman. Forcing Dafne to hold onto her opponent. They break apart when ordered without any issues, Dafne moving into space to work from.

They exchange as Anna looks to keep stepping after her opponent. Dafne moving her upper body more to dodge before landing back. Both drilling punches through gaps in their opponents guard as their supporters cheer them on. The round comes to a close with Anna looking happy with her work this round.

Round 3:
Back out they come evenly matched through the opening moments of the round. Dafne giving up ground to make her coach look frustrated. Anna manages to catch her with a straight into her chest, landing a left hook to the cheek. Anna forces her foe back into a neutral corner as she switches to the body. Keen groaning till she can hold onto her opponent.

Broken up by the referee this time; they resume with Anna keeping Dafne aimed towards the ropes. Outworking the young woman as Dafne looks to be focused on trying to protect herself more tightly. Anna is more open of the fighters as Ming-Na can be heard yelling at her protégé to not be so passive.

Final forty five seconds sees Dafne trying to get off the ropes in a more aggressive manner. They exchange with a little more venom to their punches, going toe to toe as the crowd roars them on. The bell dings to end the round with both nodding to each other before returning to their corner. Someone not happy is Ming-Na as she doesn't want Dafne giving up so much ground.

Round 4:
Dafne looking to be more on the front foot again. The fighters exchanging more on the inside as they plant their feet. Dafne again comes back to the outside with a left cross landing to her cheek as Anna times her nicely. Pressing Dafne back to the ropes to work her body till Dafne gives her a nudge to escape off the ropes.

Anna looking to keep the heat on but Dafne slips a straight, landing a counter left cross onto the ear of Anna. She lands a follow up straight onto the lips of Anna to push her backwards. Dafne holding the center of the ring as she herds Anna around the outside part of the ring.

Still Kendrick is landing some solid punches off her back foot. Keen though is landing the bigger punches as she stretches her elbows out. A straight knocks back Anna's head as Dafne now crowds her against the ropes. Working away on the inside in the dying moments of the round. The bell rings with Ming-Na pointing and telling Dafne "that's more like it." Not hiding her annoyance that her fighter was showing too much respect to the former champion. Anna nodding to her coach knowing that she is in a fight here after having it somewhat easier.

Round 5:
Resuming with Dafne looking to keep moving forwards; Anna though showing her timing to sidestep Dafne to the left and land a straight square into the cheek of the Girls Friday fighter. Anna lands a few hooks as she moves forwards, Dafne finding herself forced back onto the ropes. With Dafne needing to nudge her back to get back into space.

Anna looking to force the issue; both landing stinging punches through to each others faces. Dafne finding herself being forced near the corners. Holding when Anna drives her into them. The referee splitting them apart. Dafne has Ming-Na looking a little worried.

But that worry looks unfounded when Dafne catches Anna coming in with a left hook, she moves around to the left side of Anna to dodge a straight. Dafne lands a straight followed by a left hook that knocks Kendrick back onto her heels. Dafne drilling Anna to her face to drive her into a neutral corner with seconds left in the round. The bell rings with Dafne telling Ming-Na "I know" before sitting on her stool with her cheeks reddened up. Anna has marks around her cheeks too as she gets sweat wiped off her brow.

Round 6:
Coming out to engage around the center of the ring. Dafne is starting to dodge and land some stiff counters into the face of Anna. A jab lands under the chin of Kendrick to snap her head back. An overhand right lands on the chin of the Hollywood star to send sweat flying.

Anna is getting caught more now as she is open. Dafne lands an uppercut to knock back Anna to her heels. Hooks knock Kendrick back towards a neutral corner as she is being rocked by the flurry. A RIGHT HOOK ON THE EAR SENDS ANNA DOWN TO HER BACKSIDE IN THE CORNER!

Dafne walks over to the neutral corner with a nod to her coach as Ming-Na gives her a thumbs up. 1....2....3....4... Anna's eyes are shut as she looks to be snoozing. 5....6....7... Anna starts to stir as she holds her chin with her right glove, eyes still shut. 8....9....10 it's all over for Anna Kendrick tonight!

Winner Dafne Keen KO Round 6:

After:
Taking a breath before raising her arms into the air. Dafne looks a little relieved but she is told by Ming-Na when she returns to her corner that she needs to show more a killer instinct against these former champions, she can't be too respectful to them. Dafne nodding as she sits on her stool to get cleaned up.

All the while Anna needs help to stand up after giving some smelling salts. She is helped over to her stool by her coach as she shakes her head annoyed with herself. Another defeat for her clearly upsetting her as she stares at the canvas.

Over comes Dafne with her gloves off. Putting out her right hand to Anna, who nods and accepts the handshake. They embrace when Anna stands up. Telling Dafne to keep going on this path she is on. Clearly seeing big things for the youngster. Dafne thanking her for the kind words.

After that Anna leaves the ring with some help. Walking to the back clearly deep in thought. Maybe wondering what she has to do to turn things around in her career. Her coach tapping her on the back as they try to show her they still support her.

Dafne on the other hand gets her left hand raised in the air by the referee. She is beaming as the undefeated run continues. Ming-Na won't go easy on her as she trains her up. Dafne stepping out the ring with her coach. Who is next for Dafne as she grows into the FCBA?
