Intro:
We kick off tonights Fight Night Live card here in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with two former UFC fighters turned pro wrestlers. Ronda of course at one point was the face of the UFC and has in her time in the FCBA made Las Vegas her stomping ground. Syuri meanwhile is one of the best in STARDOM wrestling. She had a sterling Shoot boxing career before joining the UFC.

Going into the contest; Ronda told the FCBA Networks Alicia Atout at her home gym "look Syuri might be big in Japan. To me she is someone who wouldn't have lasted ten seconds with me in the octagon. She wants to try her hand in the FCBA in Vegas, it's her funeral." As usual not mincing her words.

Syuri meanwhile posted on social media a simple question "I wouldn't last ten seconds with Ronda Rousey?" With the video of Amanda Nunes battering Ronda Rousey in their fight. Something that will surely get under the skin of the former UFC women's bantamweight champion.

Fight Night; Ronda steps through the curtain onto the stage wearing her black leather jacket. Marching down the aisle with her coach following as Ronda shakes her arms to keep them loose, an intense look on her face. She climbs into the ring and gets her jacket taken off by her coach. Putting on black gloves to match her black sports bra, black trunks with "Rowdy" in white down each side, black shoes, her hair is braided as she taps her chest with both gloves to psyche herself up.

Red sparks are flying up either side of the stage as here comes Syuri with her coach behind her. The head of the "God's Eye" stable is wearing a long red robe with gold trim. She has a cheeky grin as she walks down the aisle. She steps inside the ring and stands at the middle of the ring staring hard at Ronda, showing her she isn't intimidated by the naturally bigger fighter. Syuri has her robe taken off by her coach, red gloves placed on, going along with her red sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks and shoes. She bounces on her toes and twists her hips to be ready to fight.

The referee brings the fighters to the center of the ring. They lock eyes with both having a hard look. When told to touch gloves, they bump them quickly into their opponents set before turning to their corners. Once they are back in their corners, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of 135lbs catchweight action.

Round 1:
Off they go with Ronda stepping after Syuri, who is looking to stick and move. Both jabbing away to start, using feints to try to catch the other off guard as they show their experience in fighting. Till Syuri dips under a jab to land a straight into the ribs of Ronda, overhand left flies over the top to clip Rousey as the American retreats back a step.

Syuri looks to build off that success as she works Ronda back to the outside part of the ring. Ronda pushes her off and doubles her jab up as she moves around the perimeter of the ring. The Japanese star looking to close the distance but gets clipped coming in with a short right hook as Ronda seems to hold off a possible storm coming her way.

In fact with under fifty seconds to go she lands a straight into the face of Syuri to push her back a step. Left/right hook combo digging into the cheeks of Kondo to force her now around the perimeter. Syuri is trying to keep off Ronda with straight punches but Rousey hits her to the chest with a jab, surprising Syuri long enough for a right hook to twist her head around. Soon the round comes to an end with Syuri guard up near the ropes, Ronda grins at her foe before returning to her stool to get a drink. Syuri looks annoyed at herself as she gets to her corner.

Round 2:
Syuri is known in wrestling for her precision striking. She starts to put more punches together earlier in the round. Not wanting to be drawn into any slugfests with the naturally bigger Rousey. The American fighter is stepping after her, landing several nice punches over the top into the forehead of Syuri.

But soon a missed right hook by Ronda leaves her open to a counter uppercut. Syuri has Ronda back on her heels as she works her way forwards. Ronda covering up tightly when her back touches the ropes. Making Syuri switch to the body till Ronda grabs onto her. The referee stepping in as they try to grapple each other around.

Broken apart now. Ronda catches Syuri when they are told to resume with a straight to her face. Ronda showing that power again as she has Syuri on the outside moving around her. A nudge to the chest of Kondo sends her into a neutral corner. Where is she pinned as Rousey now goes to work on her abs, Syuri firing back with punches around the sides of the head of Ronda to try to fight her way out.

At the bell Ronda walks back to her corner with a steely expression. Syuri meanwhile taps her gloves together. She had some brilliant moments there but Ronda reminding her the perils of fighting someone that naturally walks around at this weight.

Round 3:
Ronda trying to be more forceful to start the round, even landing a few more punches around the chest of Syuri. Who grits her gumshield and fires back over the top with straight punches into the face of Rousey. Trying to keep on the move so the larger athlete can't pin her down so easily.

There's some blood starting to trickle from the bottom lip of Ronda from a right cross. Ronda digs her toes into the canvas to land a left cross to the cheek of Syuri, followed by a straight into her nose to push her back towards her own corner. Where Ronda is pinning her in as she forces the issue, feet planted as she lands the heavier shots.

Holding onto Ronda with a pissed off look. Syuri bares her gumshield as the referee steps in to split them up. Resuming with Syuri back in space. They box around the ring with Ronda stepping agger Syuri, who shows some of her reflexes to dodge and strike back. The round comes to a close with both staring intensely at their opponent to show them they won't back down. Walking past each other to their stools to be cleaned up.

Round 4:
Stepping back out to resume; Ronda is wanting to keep the heat on Syuri, who is dodging some early big hits to land crisp counters. A double jab catches Ronda in her busted lip to make her groan before a short right hook slams into her jaw to make her back off.

Syuri is the quicker of the fighters; switching angles to strike with two to three punch combos as Ronda is being out worked. Ronda does land a few hard shots out her guard when Syuri stays in position too long. Redness forming on the left cheek of the STARDOM wrestler.

Less then forty five seconds to go. Ronda catches Syuri with a left hook to her jaw. Moving inside to work as Syuri tries to stand her ground as both bump toned bodies while digging fists into abs. Hissing sound can be heard from both as the crowd roars them on. Soon the bell dings to end proceedings. Sitting on their stools taking a quick breath as they lock eyes.

Round 5:
Syuri again causing Ronda some problems with her early movement and straight punches. Ronda times her attack in return better, landing a left cross near the temple of her opponent. Opening up Syuri for an uppercut onto her chin to reel her back onto her heels.

Pushing Syuri into a neutral corner. Ronda starts to bully her, Syuri tries to fight back but she hasn't the room to load up and that uppercut looked to shake her a little. A right hook to the chin twists her head around before AN UPPERCUT LANDS TO TAKE THE LEGS OF SYURI OUT FROM UNDER HER! DOWN SHE FALLS TO ALL FOURS AT THE FEET OF ROUSEY!

Ronda stares hard at Syuri and has to be told to head to the opposite corner, which she does soon enough. 1....2....3....4... Syuri groans as she pushes back to her haunches. 5....6....7... She tries to push to her feet. 8....9... Her legs are like jelly so she only ends up back on her knees! 10 it's all over for Syuri tonight as she is counted out!

Winner Ronda Rousey KO Round 5

After:
Syuri showed fighting spirit to take on the challenge of Ronda. That doesn't seem to earn much respect from Ronda though. Who tells Syuri after walking back over to her "you should have stayed back in Japan with all the other Powderpuff girls!" Flexing her arms to try to show Syuri her mistake in challenging her. Syuri just scowls in defiance at Ronda in response.

The winner soon enough returning to her corner to get her gloves removed. Ronda takes a breath before her busted lip is worked on. She certainly didn't come out without a scratch here. Though deep down she has to be happy being back on the winning side of things, especially as she isn't getting any younger.

While Syuri is helped back over to her corner. Tossing her gloves off to show her annoyance at the defeat. Shutting her eyes as her corner crew work on some swelling around her left cheek. This was a big chance to showcase her talents with a victory and instead she lost to someone judging by the looks she is giving Ronda, she has no time for.

The fighter do both come to the center of the ring for the final announcement of the result. Syuri's pride making her stand and listen to Ronda's name being read out. Ronda gets her left arm raised as she smirks at Syuri. She then taps her chest with her right fist to the camera to show her rivals that she isn't going anywhere. They have to beat her to get rid of her.

While Syuri leaves the ring after bowing to each side to show her respect to the fans. She could still find herself on a future Boxermania card with the Joshi expansion that took place on those events. So this might not be a one and done for the former World of Stardom Champion.

Back in the ring Ronda asks for a microphone. Telling the crowd first to shut up as they boo her. Ronda then gives a simple message to the rest of the division "to all those supposed tough girls in the welters; all you models, actresses and athletes, I am ready to fight you all!" Dropping the microphone on the floor instead of handing it back to the announcer. Ronda poses with her arms above her head as she gets booed. Las Vegas might be her second home for winning but she certainly is losing fans amongst the locals. Leaving the ring with a rye smile as she doesn't seem to care one bit.
