Intro:
Intriguing bout up next as Sophie Turner and Yvonne Strahovski clash in the ring for the first ever time. Yvonne has a long history with the Foxfire Boxing stable through her friendship/rivalry with Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Question is does Sophie score a big win over one of the greatest lightweights in FCBA history or does Yvonne show she is still in the title race?

Before the bout in Las T-Mobile Arena. The fighters were interviewed together by the FCBA Networks Alicia Atout in the media area. Sophie wearing a white hoodie with her stables name written in red across the front, blue denim jeans and white sneakers. Yvonne meanwhile is wearing a black dress with matching heels to show the difference in style they have.

Alicia asks both what their relationship is like outside the ring. Sophie speaks first as she says "hmm... Well I don't really know. I do want to ask Yvonne about her and Mary to get her viewpoint. What is it with you both... Well betting each other when you fight with humiliating stakes.. I thought you were friends?" Making Yvonne chuckle.

"Well Mary has a way of talking me into things; body saddle bouts, asking me for title bouts when I am the champ" says Yvonne. Alicia nods as Sophie looks a little awkward.

It becomes apparent why as she asks "well no... I mean about things like the French Maid uniform. Why did you both agree to that?" A little redness to her cheeks as Yvonne laughs harder now. Sophie looking a little upset at her reaction with Alicia looking awkward herself between them; waiting for fists to possibly fly.

But Yvonne replies "I think Mary looks cute in the uniform. She seems to enjoy it too. There's things we have bet in private events that would make your cheeks go even redder Sophie. Though maybe we should bet on the French maids uniform, are you game?" Sophie's eyes go wide at the challenge. She shakes her head and rushes off before being forced into a bet she doesn't want to take.

Laughing hard to bring a few tears to her eyes. Yvonne finishes up by telling Alicia "I like Sophie a lot. She is cute and all but you know me, once the bell rings the fun and games finish. Hopefully we will be friends after the bout though I have a few things in mind for Sophie." Winking to Alicia before she walks off.

Fighting time! Sophie walks out first with her coach Virginia Madison behind her. Sophie tapping her red gloves together as she looks to be getting herself into the zone after getting flustered earlier by Yvonne. She climbs into the ring wearing a red sports bra with white stripes down the sides, matching trunks and boots, hair tied into a braid. Virginia tells her to forget the games outside the ring and focus on beating Yvonne.

Who comes out now with Nicole Kidman to her left side. Yvonne has a cheeky smile on her face as she walks down the aisle. Eyes firmly on her opponent before she walks around the ring towards her corner. Soon stepping into the ring wearing a green sports bra with matching trunks and shoes, gold coloured gloves with her hair tied into a braid too. Nicole massages her shoulders as she tells Yvonne to show Sophie why you are the best.

Both walk to the center of the ring; their demeanor has changed to a more serious expression. Still once the instructions are done they respectfully touch gloves with their opponent. Sophie jogs to her corner as Yvonne walks to hers. The referee signals for the bell when everything is set. Starting off 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
The bell rings and while Yvonne puts out her left glove to touch, Sophie is more keen to get the fight started with a shake of her head. Both stinging their opponents cheeks with single punches. Sophie starts to land with punches in bunches, stepping back when Yvonne looks to match her intensity.

Sophie looks to have the quicker hands as she steps in closer to land two to three punch combos. Yvonne is missing when she tries to land her own combos, Sophie's movement giving the Aussie beauty some issues in this round. A bit of an annoyed look on Strahovski's face.

Under forty seconds to go; Yvonne dips under a jab to land a right hook to the body, followed by a left hook into the ribs of Turner. In close now Yvonne is looking to force the issue. Sophie trying to create space but gets caught with a short left hook on her jaw. The round soon ends with Yvonne nodding to Nicole, knowing she can't let Sophie build momentum so easily.

Round 2:
Starring to move in closer more quickly; Yvonne is pushing the pace now as Sophie is trying to match the veteran. A straight lands into the bread basket of Turner to make her back off. Yvonne holding the center of the ring at the end of the opening minute.

Yvonne looking to hold Sophie back around the outside part of the ring. Sophie throwing back crisp punches of her own as they open up. Yvonne steps in with a straight to the abs of Sophie, then lands an overhand left on the jaw of the younger fighter to twist her head to the side.

Pinning Sophie onto the ropes as she digs away at the body of the English fighter. Sophie grabs onto Yvonne to slow her down, forcing the referee to break them up. Sophie now back in space doubling up her jab to hold off the former champion. Holding off Yvonne as seconds tick away till the bell rings to end the round. Yvonne has an icy stare aimed at Sophie now as she is truly in the zone.

Round 3:
Resuming with the fighters exchanging stiff single punches. Eyes locked behind their guards as they let their fists do the talking. Yvonne tries to step inside but Sophie steps to her right and lands a straight into the ear of the older fighter. A left/right hook combo on the cheeks of Strahovski.

Yvonne is getting caught through her guard as Sophie is pounding away. Yvonne has to hold onto Sophie to slow her down. The referee steps in to push them apart. If Yvonne thought she could get a breather, Sophie isn't letting her as she keeps the heat on her.

A double jab catches her on her nose; opening Yvonne up to a right hook that twists her head. Sophie pins back Yvonne against the turnbuckles of a neutral corner. Yvonne shells up till the round comes to a close, a basic shut out for Turner as she marches back to her corner. Yvonne taps her own cheeks as if to wake herself up.

Round 4:
Stepping back out to fight on. Yvonne is keeping her left up higher, trying to move her head more to dodge and hit Sophie. Who looks relaxed as she drills several punches into the chest of Yvonne to try to open her up to hooks. Wanting to keep hurting Yvonne like she did the last round.

An overly keen Sophie misses with a left hook as Yvonne leans out the way. A counter right lands into the face of Sophie to knock her head back. A left hook/uppercut combo knocks Sophie onto her heels as Yvonne now starts to drive forwards. Pressing Turner onto the ropes, where she digs again to the body of her foe.

Pushing off Yvonne. Sophie is moving away from the ropes but is being forced to box off her back foot. Yvonne stepping forward being the aggressor as they exchange. Cheeks getting marked up as leather cracking on faces can be heard. The round soon comes to a close with Sophie gritting her mouthpiece, showing a little frustration. Yvonne meanwhile gets a drink as sweat runs down her brow to her tits. She looks calm as Nicole is telling her what she needs to do more of.

Round 5:
Both women exchange around the center of the ring. Sophie lands a double jab to the face of Yvonne. Trying to stick and move against the older woman. Yvonne stalking after her trying not to get baited into anything but is getting hit with straight punches to her face.

Into the second minute; Sophie feints with a jab, stepping back when Yvonne steps in with a left hook that finds thin air. A straight lands square into the nose of Strahovski to make her cry out. LEFT HOOK TO THE CHIN CAUSES YVONNE TO DROP DOWN TO HER LEFT KNEE!

Jogging to the neutral corner. Sophie taps her gloves as she stares at Yvonne. 1....2....3... Who gives her head a little shake. 4....5... Yvonne has a trickle of blood running from her nostrils. 6....7....8... After wiping her nose with her right glove before standing up to her feet. Yvonne raises her fists to show she isn't quitting this contest.

Back at it they go with just over a minute to go. Yvonne boxing defensively as Sophie stalks after her. Both women staring hard through their guards. Sophie just missing with some of her harder punches. The bell dings to end the round. Yvonne cursing herself as she returns to her stool, Nicole patching her nose up. Sophie wipes some sweat off her brow but is looking the happier fighter after scoring that knock down.

Round 6:
Sophie is up off her stool looking to keep the pressure on Yvonne at range. Throwing straight punches at Yvonne, who is moving her head more to dodge and strike back. Both women boxing around mid range. Sophie catching her foe around her nose to cause it to bleed again to the delight of Virginia.

Stepping in after deflecting a straight; Yvonne lands a hard right under the ribs of her foe. Sophie grits her mouthpiece as she grimaces. A left hook catches Turner on her chin to send some sweat flying. Back goes the English girl as she is forced back into her own corner. Yvonne keeping her head down as she works away at the torso of her opponent till she is held onto.

Virginia yelling some advice to Sophie before they are broken up. Sophie looking to get back to doubling up her jab. Yvonne looks to have found a second wind as she steps around a jab to land a short counter right to the ear of Sophie. A left hook to the ribs opens up Sophie to an uppercut that rocks her backwards.

The round comes to an end with both women taking a breath before they walk to their corners. Sophie looking a little sore around her body. While blood from the nose of Yvonne has dripped onto her boobs.

Round 7:
Back out they come with Sophie looking to strike at range. Yvonne hinting after her with feints to try to throw Sophie off. A right cross catches Sophie around her eye to open up to a left uppercut that knocks her to her heels. Yvonne starting to pile the pressure on the torso of her foe as Sophie looks uncomfortable. Maybe those ribs on her left side causing her more trouble then first noticeable.

Pushing Yvonne off her; Sophie hasn't as much a spring to her step, relying more on doubling up her jab. Yvonne jabs Sophie into her chest to push her back a step. Another right hook to those ribs makes Turner whine out as it is clear now how damaged they are. Sophie goes to clinch BUT A RIGHT HOOK LANDS PERFECTLY UNDER THE RIBS OF TURNER TO MAKE HER CRY OUT! DOWN GOES SOPHIE TO HER KNEES!

Holding her side as she watches Yvonne walk to the neutral corner; Sophie has tears welling up in her eyes. 1....2....3... Cheeks are red as she looks to the canvas. 4....5....6....7... Sophie looks to her corner and whines as she tries to push to her feet. 8... But she just falls back to her knees. 9....10 that's it for this bout as Turner is counted out!

Winner Yvonne Strahovski KO Round 7

After:
Never question the toughness of Yvonne as she proves even at forty, that she still can comeback from adversity. Yvonne raises her arms in the air as she looks around the ring and takes in the loud roars of her supporters.

While Virginia rushes into the ring to help Sophie with an ice pack pressed onto the wounded ribs. Sophie gets her eyes wiped dry by Virginia. Sophie apologetic over this defeat but is quickly told to learn from it. Virginia more interested in making sure she will be ok.

Soon both fighters are back on their stools being cleaned up. Sophie looks to be breathing a little better but still looks to be hurting. Yvonne meanwhile has some tissue shoved up her nostrils as she jokes about Sophie losing and yet still looking beautiful compared to her right now. Winking to Nicole as the coach chuckles and shakes her head.

Once she is happy she is patched up. Yvonne heads over to Sophie's corner. Telling Virginia "I want to walk her. I beat her and deserve to show her off to my fans." Virginia shakes her head and tells Yvonne to back off.

Sophie butts in to say "look if it's good enough for Mary... Then why wouldn't it be good enough for me?" Making Virginia sigh. Yvonne assures her she won't hurt Sophie. With the beaten fighter pulling herself up to her feet gingerly.

Holding gently around the waist of Sophie. Yvonne leads her slowly around the ring while flexing her left arm. Sophie whispers "I know I had you on the ropes. I should have knocked you out." Making Yvonne chuckle as they are heading past her corner.

"You should have but you didn't. I get you are annoyed that you lost. That's good; you should want another crack at me, should want to beat me. You are a good fighter so don't be too hard on yourself" says Yvonne. They are heading into the home stretch as Sophie nods.

Virginia takes Sophie from Yvonne and helps her out the ring. Sophie looks back a moment with a stern look. Clearly wanting to even the score with Yvonne but she nods to herself as they head to the back. Knowing why her stable mate the legendary Mary Elizabeth Winstead thinks so highly of Yvonne, it isn't just because they are friendly, Yvonne is truly as great as they.

In the ring Yvonne gets her right hand raised in victory. Yvonne blows a few kisses to her supporters before she steps out the ring. As Minka Kelly has shown in the past few months. Being forty doesn't mean you can't be the champion. Yvonne showed tonight that her hunger has not been diminished one bit.
