Intro:
The final first round bout in this year's World Cup tournament sees a clash of models who have travelled the world boxing in both the BBU and FCBA. Italy's national champion Valentina Fradegrada takes on former BBU two weight world champion Holland's Doutzen Kroes. They step into Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium ready for action.

Both set out their thoughts and feelings heading into the tournament on the FCBA Network. Valentina wore a white blouse with blue denim jeans and black heels, the BBU Italian lightweight championship over her right shoulder when she stepped onto the set.

Valentina says "I get people will be interested in my future and my stables but I am here for one thing only. That is to show the world that us Italians are the best damn fighters around. This title over my shoulder proves I am the best in my country." Starting off a little hot.

She takes a breath before she continues with "Doutzen I know you are a top fighter and deserve your spot in this event. Problem for you is I am here and you have got me to face off with. My drive is the best it has been in my career. Expect my hand to be raised throughout the night." Marching off the set proudly holding her title.

Doutzen meanwhile looks more relaxed as she walks onto the set wearing a violet dress with black heels. Blowing a kiss to the camera as she starts with "first I want to say thank you to all my fans in Holland for their kind words. Being the face of Dutch boxing means the world to mean. Well hopefully I bring the world cup home as a symbol of that love I have for you all."

She then puts her hands on her hips as she says "to Valentina; I know you are a great fighter, you have done your country proud but I have reached that top level twice. I have made the weight again and I feel powerful. While I respect you, I also don't fear you." Nodding before heading off the set.

Fight night! Valentina is out first with her coach following her as the Italian flag is on the big screen. Valentina taps her cheeks with her light blue gloves. Along with those she has matching trunks and shoes, light blue sports bra with an Italy flag badge on her left bra cup, hair tied into a ponytail. She climbs into the ring bouncing on her toes in her corner as she shuts her eyes to get into the zone.

Doutzen now walks out with her stable manager Nicole Ritchie working her corner. The Dutch flag is on the big screen as she marches down the aisle. She is wearing an orange sports bra with black stripes down the sides, matching trunks and shoes, orange gloves, with her hair tied into a ponytail too. She gets inside the ring with a nod to Valentina before tapping her fists with Nicole.

The fighters both jog to the middle of the ring to hear the referees instructions. The fighters intensely stare each other down as this means a lot to both. They do respectful touch gloves before jogging back to their corners. The bell rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Both looking to let their hands go early. Doutzen lands a few solid cross punches but takes a straight onto her forehead. A left hook crashing onto the chin of the Dutch fighter to turn her head. Valentina driving her back with body shots onto the ropes. Doutzen pushing off Valentina so she can move into space.

They resume trading punches as Doutzen looks to jab more. Valentina moving her head more to dodge and strike. More finesse from both are a quick start. Valentina catches Doutzen with a left hook to the ribs, an uppercut follows to push the Dutch star onto her heels.

Doutzen finding herself being herded around the perimeter. Covering up as Valentina is looking to bash her around. Doutzen landing some punches out her guard to the cheeks of her foe. The round comes to an end with both women marching back to their corners. Valentina looked to have warmed up the better of the fighters to kick off this fight.

Round 2:
Resuming with Doutzen starting to rely more on footwork to create space. Valentina trying to pin down her opponent like the last round. Doutzen landing a double jab before moving out the way of a left hook. Valentina tapping her gloves together to show a hint of frustration.

Back comes Fradegrada as she catches Doutzen with a straight into her chest before landing a short left hook to the body. Doutzen retreating back with Valentina looking to step after her. Doutzen catches her with a jab/straight into the face of the Italian beauty as she leaves herself too open.

Valentina finds herself muscled back into a neutral corner as Doutzen targets her body with hard hooks. Valentina pushing at the face of Doutzen before they go toe to toe. The bell soon enough dings with both walking back to their corners with Doutzen this time showing off some of the skills that has many her a multiple time world champion.

Round 3:
Stepping back out with both landing more as they exchange. They both are looking good in the early going of this round. Valentina steps inside to work the body of Doutzen. Who digs in a few short hooks around to the ears of her foe to ward her off. Doutzen landing a double jab into the forehead of the Italian champion to move her back a step.

Doutzen lands a counter right after Valentina misses with a left cross. A follow up left hook catches Valentina on her cheek as Doutzen starts to push back her foe. Valentina punching off her back foot, she is getting caught with the flusher punches into her face though to mark it up.

Valentina finds herself moving near the ropes. Doutzen digging her toes in to slam away at the torso of her opponent. Valentina landing a few hooks up top before both go toe to toe. Hissing in effort as they land in short hooks. Both fighters cheeks have a pink hue to them. The round ends with high pushing apart. Doutzen again looking happy enough with her work. Valentina meanwhile looks heated as her coach tells her to keep her temper under control. Maybe frustration from outside the ring is showing itself in the ring.

Round 4:
Doutzen looking to keep Valentina annoyed with a jab and move tactics. Valentina though shoves her with her left and landing a straight into the chin of Kroes to knock her back a step. Doutzen moving around the perimeter now looking to box around there.

A straight drills into the breadbasket of Doutzen to make her groan. A left hook to the ear makes Doutzen move back to the ropes. Valentina drilling in a double jab to the face of Doutzen, making the former world champion cover up top. VALENTINA LOOKED TO BE WAITING FOR THAT AS SHE SWINGS WITH HER HIPS A RIGHT HOOK TO THE LIVER AREA LF DOUTZEN! WHO CRIES OUT AND COLLAPSES TO HER KNEES!

Doutzen cradles her body as Valentina stares hard at her before she moves to the neutral corner. 1....2....3....4... Doutzen is breathing hard as her eyes are shut, cheeks flushed red. 5....6....7....8... Doutzen spits out her gumshield almost looking pleadingly at the referee to slow their count. 9...10 instead it's all over as Kroes is counted out!

Winner Valentina Fradegrada KO Round 4

After:
Valentina heads to the center of the ring. Hand on her hips as she says to the nearest camera in her native tongue "I am here to win it all. No one is stopping me." Marching over to her corner to be wiped down as she is a woman on a mission.

Doutzen needs helped over to her stool after Nicole hands her an ice pack once her gloves are off. Doutzen annoyed at herself, maybe a little humiliated that she lost in the fourth. She tells Nicole that she is sorry for losing.

The fighters are both patched up before they head to the center of the final result to be announced. Valentina gets her left hand raised as Doutzen nods with the ice pack still on her body. After that Doutzen puts out her left fist in a sign of respect to Valentina. Who bumps the fist with her own to show the feeling is mutual. Doutzen wishing her luck before she leaves the ring.

Doutzen will need to take a moment to think about how to proceed as her career has evened out at the moment. Nicole consoling her as she puts her right arm around her shoulders. Doutzen nodding as she knows it can get between with a few wins back to back.

Meanwhile Valentina has a fight with Ming Xi to look forwards to. Arguably she is the favourite now as Ming went through eight tough rounds. She walks up the aisle with her coach talking about what is next. Valentina clenching her fists as she is fired up.
