Intro:
Our first rematch of the night as young fighters Joey King and Florence Pugh get to renew hostilities. In the first bout it was Joey who emerged victorious by knocking out Florence in the fifth round. They meet this time in Alaska in the famous Ice Hotel, maybe the winner staking a future claim for a Princess of the Ice Hotel shot.

They kept to social media to build up to the bout. Joey posting "I can't wait to fight Florence again. The first time she gave me a bit of a bloody nose but I was the one standing tall at the end of the bout. This time around I owe her a bloody nose and a black eye."

Florence responded "oh I am looking forwards to evening the score Joey. You deserved the victory in our first bout but this time I am going to be getting my hand raised. Onwards and upwards for me as I am in the mood to get back into the top of the rankings."

Fight night! First to come out was Joey King with her coach Anne Hathaway to her left. Joey looking relaxed as she is stares at the ring. She steps inside it wearing a red sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks, red boots, red gloves with gold coloured thumbs, her hair is braided as all her attire has fake fur lining. She bounces on her toes looking focused for the task ahead.

Florence has Gillian Anderson to her left as she walks to the ring with eyes firmly on her opponent. Florence gets into the ring wearing a white sports bra with black striped down the sides, matching trunks and shoes, along with white gloves and her hair tied into a ponytail. She kisses her gloves before shadow boxing.

The referee waves the fighters to the middle of the ring for the final instructions. Both bounce on their toes as they shake their arms to keep them loose. The fighters touch gloves respectfully enough before jogging back to their corners. The bell rings to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Both women up on their toes with jabs being exchanged. They land as much on gloves as they do on each others cheeks. Florence steps in with a straight to the chest of Joey to push her back a step, landing a left cross as she looks hyped up for this bout. Joey needing to move around the outside part of the ring slinging back punches from the outside.

Florence looking to pin down Joey, she is getting clipped back into the face of the English fighter as Joey looks to counter punch. The crowd enjoying the heated exchanges between these two. Cheeks getting smacked as cracks of leather ring out. While Joey manages to get back to the middle of the ring, in the hectic exchanges she gets clocked with a left hook on her jaw to twist her head.

That opens up King to more punches square into her face. Back onto the ropes goes the American as Florence tries to batter her face. Joey grabs hold of her to slow her down. The referee needed to break them up. They go toe to toe when they resume with seconds left in the round. The bell rings to end the round with both women intensely staring the other down before walking to their corners.

Round 2:
Joey steps back out her corner looking to be more aggressive; stabbing several punches around the chest and abs of her opponent to drive her back onto her heels. Florence swinging back with cross punches landing on the cheeks of Joey to stop her charging through Pugh.

A feint allows Joey to slip a straight to land one of her own under the chin of Florence to snap her head back. Florence is muscled back to the ropes by Joey, who bangs away at her stomach to make Florence groan. Florence nudging off Joey to get away from the ropes. Still Joey is keeping on the front foot to force the issue.

An overhand left catches Pugh on her jaw to open her up to a straight into her lips. Back goes Florence again as King is in her face. Needing to hold onto Joey to stop her momentum, Florence looks to be gritting her mouthpiece in annoyance. The fighters are split apart with a quick fire exchange between them. The round ends with both women walking to their corners with both looking fired up.

Round 3:
Joey is looking to keep the heat on Florence; banging away at her torso. Florence landing cuffing shots till she can nudge back her opponent. Both are exchanging flurries as they look to grab control of the action, nearly clashing heads at one point.

A double jab lands on the nose of Florence to open her up to a harpoon like right to the body. Joey drives Florence back into a neutral corner. Working the body of the Marvel star to try to wear her down. Florence fires back but soon enough needs to hold onto her. The referee breaks them up.

They resume with Florence coming back at Joey. Missing with a left cross as Joey dances out the way. Joey lands a straight into the chest of Florence. Stepping in with a left hook to the body of her opponent, Joey looks to have Florence a little off her game. The bell dings to end the round with Joey joking back to her corner with a grin. Florence is told by Gillan to think about what she is doing, take her time and take a breath. Florence does take a breath as she looks to relax.

Round 4:
Stepping back out to resume; Florence is driving in more of her jabs. Joey trying to match her but is getting pegged back on her heels. Florence soon pins her to the ropes as she switches up her targets. Joey needing to grab hold of Florence so they can be split apart. They fight on with Joey coming back at Florence.

Both exchanging around the middle of the ring. Joey keeps bodying up to Florence before being nudged back. A left hook catches Joey around her temple, Florence uses the opening to drive back Joey with a jab/straight combo landing square into her face. Florence herding her foe around the perimeter of the ring.

Joey covering up more tightly as Florence switches levels with her punches. Keeping Joey on the back foot as she even digs away at the chest of the younger woman. Joey swings back as the ten second warning sounds out. Looking to show Florence she isn't going to be bullied. It's Pugh landing the cleaner shots though up until the bell rings to end proceedings. Sitting on their stools getting cleaned up. Both have marks on their cheeks as they stare each other down.

Round 5:
Joey tapping her gloves before she steps out. They exchange around the others torso as Florence not wanting Joey to have all the fun there it seems. Bumping their shoulders as they try to power each other back. Florence lands a crisp left/right cross combo to the cheeks of Joey to back her off.

But as Florence looks to be growing in confidence. A mistake by Florence as she swings in a right hook that finds air as Joey crouches under it. A straight lands into the belly button of Pugh to push her back. Joey bullies back Florence into a neutral corner. Florence groaning she gets whacked away to the ribs. Pushing at the shoulders of Joey to get away from the corner.

Joey is staying on the front foot as she looks to keep Florence moving around the outside part of the ring. Joey opening up more, she gets clocked with a left cross onto her temple to make her blink. Florence coming on strong in the final moments of the round to force Joey onto her heels with punches slamming into the younger woman's face. The round ends with both walking back to their corners. Florence has marks on her body as she sits on her stool. Joey shakes her head as she looks a little buzzed.

Round 6:
They walk back to the center of the ring with Joey trying to get back to the inside right away. Florence catches her with a left hook on her temple as she times her coming in. An uppercut catches Joey on her chin to make her stumble back as Florence comes after her. A LEFT/RIGHT HOOK LANDS FLUSH ON THE CHIN OF JOEY TO SEND HER DOWN ONTO HER BACK!

Florence jogs over to the neutral corner with a quick breath as she looks to be holding her emotions in. 1....2....3... Joey rolls slowly over to her front. 4....5....6... Joey trying to get to her feet. 7....8... She rolls back onto her bum as her legs are jelly like. 9....10 it's all over! Joey is counted out.

Winner Florence Pugh KO Round 6

After:
Florence evens the score with her rival. Jogging over to her corner so she can hug Gillan, telling her "thank you" for her support and help in overcoming someone who is proving to be a tough rival. Gillian telling her not to get too worked up, this is just a step closer to getting into that top end of the rankings.

Joey on the other hand is checked over by Anne. She shakes her head as clearly she is dazed by those pounding punches she took. Anne helps her to her feet and over to her stool. Joey tosses her gloves to the canvas when her head clears as she can't hide her emotions.

Over comes Florence once she has her gloves off and a quick drink. Both women share a few words, Florence praising Joey, who nods at her and both share a handshake. This is probably not the last time these two will share a ring now they are one and one.

Out the ring goes Joey with a little help. She looks ready to punch a hole through a wall but is keeping her head. Her sister Hunter comes out the crowd to check on her. Both going to the back together as Hunter consoles her sibling with her left arm around her shoulders.

In the ring Florence gets her right arm gets raised by the referee. She blows a kiss to the cameras as she says "I love you all" to her fans. Florence getting hugged from behind by her coach as she is told "keep this up for all of them."

They step out the ring together to walk to the back. Florence certainly showed how far she has come from her early days in the ring. What will be the next step for Florence as she seeks to win a maiden world title at some point in future.
