1. Alexis Ren vs Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters (FCBA Debut)

We’re LIVE at the Good Hope Centre in central Johannesburg, and the rumored final stop in the VIX International Tour before the Vixens head back state-side for a long showcase of homegrown events for the rest of this year.

Up first, a clash of looks and good books, as fresh newbie Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters goes up against the veteran Alexis Ren. Demi is of course a famous model and beauty queen of her home country, having won the Miss Universe pageant back in 2017.

Ren, of course, not looking impressed during the press segment by ring-side, ignoring the boos from the crowd after slagging them off for cheering on Demi a little louder instead.

“Beauty queen, smoochy bin, I’ll knock her out the same,” Ren says with confidence. “I’ve got bigger fish to fry, and only agreed to this fight because it’ll be an easy tune-up fight. Let’s see what Miss South Africa’s got in her, shall we?”

Demi is your typical good-girl-next-door, smiling and waving to her fans, looking like a most recognisable face on her home turf.

“I don’t appreciate these Vixens coming here and saying nasty things about our country,” Demi says moments later from across the ring. “I know my experience can’t be compared to Ren’s. But I’m gonna give her as much hell as possible.”

That first-round loss doesn’t sit well with Ren at all! The Vixen is snarling, already gearing to get back into the action once the bell rings! Sure enough, the former champion pours inwards with even MORE aggression, now mixing her attacks with devastating hooks across the arms and behind it. Demi’s far less used to dealing with this kind of power, and lets out a groan as a hook connects with the side of her head, Ren reaching around the guard to hammer her left and right. Ren still snarling as she bullies the rookie about the ring, and each of Demi’s return swings are more easily blocked or deflected or simply taken on the cheek and dished back two-fold, Ren ending another exchange with a pop-in hook to the temple, another snap uppercut cutting into the base of her chin. Demi looks worse for wear when the bell finally rings, swaying slightly and eager for the cooldown. Ren regains her honor, but still ain’t too happy with her earlier performance.

ROUND 3:
Demi tries to use speed to counteract Ren’s aggression, to limited effect. Ren is still skirting right in at the bell, opening fire with her jab attack before lunging at the brunette’s body and chin with that right hand swing. Demi’s still too fresh, not knowing how to deal with that last big number that threatens to take her head off. The best thing she can do, of course, is NOT panic, and as she keeps her arms locked over her chin, Ren can only hammer and blast at her torso. Demi, however, gets fired up in the last minute, tired of taking those tummy shots. She stuns Ren with a well-placed right hook to her face, drawing a gurgle, then bends her over in half with a follow-up stomach hook! Ren isn’t used to the rookie’s power in turn, and audacity for someone’s first ever fight. She gets pushed back again, arms up and plenty more caution, allowing Demi to showcase some of her own aggression. Nel-Peters bashes at Ren’s waistline, paying the Vixen with left and right gloves thudding in, and drawing sharp yelps from the blonde all the way to the bell. Close round swings back to Demi, who surprisingly managed to salvage this turn!

ROUND 4:
Ren was hoping to dominate this fight through and through, but is finding these small pockets of resistance that need to be quashed, as far as she’s concerned. The Vixen skirts in again on those legs, resuming the head hooks to try and KO the newbie early and make a statement. Meanwhile, Demi-Leigh’s holding on, grunting with each swing making contact with a raised arm, trying to bust Alexis back with the odd poke straight to the nostrils or lips. Ren, however, just throws more punches, with greater strength, banging another left-right combo off the brunette’s guts, making her lurch forward and collapse into the ropes, mouth hanging open from all the wind being let go. Ren bobs and weaves, hammering another double hook combo into Demi’s ribs, which CRATERS the poor rookie in half! Demi has her face twisted in pain, collapsing whilst hugging her body! Ren delivers a final punt to the face to speed her way down, and DOWN SHE GOES indeed! Nel-Peters left flattened on her face by the ropes, and the referee is quick to declare this fight OVER!! Ren takes it early via KO4!

Official Decision: Alexis Ren defeats Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters via KO4!

AFTER:
“b*tch! Time to take your medicine!” Ren roars, immediately shedding her gloves and striding over to torture her South African rival some more.

The crowd boos loudly as Demi-Leigh’s hauled up to her knees by her hair, eyes still shut and lips still puckered. Ren has her way with her, messing up her hair and then slapping her across the face, before forcing her to look up into her devilish eyes.

“I hope you stick around, Peters, because I’d love to mess you up another time,” Ren hisses. “I’m gonna let you off this time.. I think beating you in four rounds is humiliating enough.”

Demi merely blinks back, then groans again once she’s thrown off to the side, and collapses to the ground. What an opener for this next leg of the VIX International Tour, with Alexis continuing to strut about the ring, occasionally prodding Nel-Peter’s body with a foot!
