3. Hannah Ferguson vs Natasha Barnard

Hannah:

BEFORE:
“A travesty, I say,” Hannah shakes her head during the press conference. “I’d already beat Tahnee for my 100th fight. Just because another blonde doesn’t like her jugs getting punched, I have to get into the ring a little more to kick ass before I qualify for the Hall.”

Hannah shoots Natasha a look from across the press table. “No offense to Barnard, but she’s just going to be a number on a spreadsheet. The same goes for Amy Willerton at the end of the month.”

Barnard not looking amused, but maintaining her cool. The native South African is slender, toned, and majestic, every movement of hers drawing the attention of the home crowd.

“Hannah’s obsessiveness will cost her. Just like how I hear Lily Collins hasn’t been faring too well getting over the finish line. If you chase the gold, it’s gonna run further away from you. We South Africans know that well,” Natasha says, drawing nods and murmurs from across the room. “I’m gonna show her how we do things here in Cape Town.”

Later, in the ring, big girls bump up in the center, both dressed in nothing but their skivvies and tied ponytails. Hannah’s in a floral bikini and white gloves, whereas Natasha has gone for a plain lavender number, with red leather.

Referee sends them both back to corners, and with the wave of his hand… HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Welterweight action!

ROUND 1:
Hannah strapping hooks in, fast and powerful, thundering lefts and rights impacting the arms to shock Natasha in the early game. If Nat was expecting a slow burn to a victory, she's rudely interrupted by another left hand tap to the guard before that right cross of Ferguson lands smack into her mouth, drawing a grunt. Barnard is definitely out of her element but continues to defend and throw her own punches forward. A couple snag the Vixen off the chin and tummy, but they're mostly wild and glancing shots off Hannah's hide. The more deliberate and focused fighter wins the first round wide, with Ferguson steadily pounding on her foe to gain the advantage.

ROUND 2:
Barnard gets into the groove and it shows, bouncing more often on her feet before jabbing at the Vixen's face to deter her ambitions. Ferguson looks stunned by the intrusions, Barnard showing off her own speed with that lead left jab, frustrating Hannah as it pokes into her cheek and chin. Hannah growling, too eager to get in close and finish her foe off, starts making unforced errors like a hook thrown at the wrong time or place, getting intercepted by Barnard's forearm before the South African beauty punishes her back with a hook across the chin. Hannah has no choice but to stay back and cover herself up, fight defensively instead, and allows Barnard to chase after her with more flurries. Well earned victory for Nat at the bell, who poked and prodded the blonde's tummy all the way to the bell!

ROUND 3:
Two can play that game, though! Hannah opts to stay back in the first minute, responding to Barnard's striking with heavy counter hooks of her own! Nat lets out a grunt as a right hand slams into the side of her head, Hannah then walking her down with more drumming of her vulnerable torso. Ladies clinch up and wrestle on the ropes, and Natasha manages to shove a couple of forearms of her own into the Alpha Vixen's breasts and waistline, enjoying Hannah's grunts of rage on her shoulder. Referee has to separate them both at multiple occasions, but Hannah just keeps on getting in close and WAILING away on the older brunette once more. At the bell, Ferguson takes it by a close margin, plenty of ammunition thrown at her adversary but not much of it actually landed clean.

ROUND 4:
Barnard makes the blonde pay for her sloppiness, checking an early overhand with a right hook turned into the chin, another swing to Hannah's ear sending the Vixen reeling to the side, looking absolutely gobsmacked. Barnard continues to throb the torso, wracking up lefts and rights to gut Hannah in half as she backtracks towards the ropes. Ferguson tries to clinch up with a duck under a swing and arms swung towards Nat's chest and waistline, but Barnard keeps her elbows locked and continues to punt short, snappy hits up into her chin and breasts. Referee separates them for the fifth time this fight, and Hannah looks worse for wear, breathing hard from the other corner of the ring. Last minute and Barnard tries to storm in to finish the Vixen off, gets caught by Hannah's long-range jab and quick footwork. End result is a wide round for Natasha, though it was clear she was looking for the elusive knockdown.

ROUND 5:
Natasha has defied expectations so far, putting up a good fight against the veteran blonde! Hannah is forced to play it safer, and less scatterbrained, using the first minute to deny Nat another brazen charge into her space. Barnard is forced to contend with a more focused opponent, her attacks just landing all over the arms regardless of which area she's targeting. Instead, Hannah waits for the opportune moment to strike, shoving a right hand clean into the brunette's lips before snapping her head back with a step-in uppercut that stuns her to the chest first, then carries on upwards to the base of her chin! Ouch!! Barnard goes reeling, madly covering up, looking to collect her own marbles from off the floor! Hannah’s not letting her, continues banging mitts into the sides of her head, before plugging another uppercut into the center of her tummy! DOWN NATTY GOES, crumpling on the spot and the culmination of abuse just proving TOO MUCH for her to bear! Barnard collapses by the ropes and curls into a ball, looking spent and choking! Referee scoots in, takes one look, and WAVES the rest of this fight off! It’s OVER!

Official Decision: Hannah Ferguson defeats Natasha Barnard via KO5!

AFTER:
Pumped arms and pumped egos as Hannah takes the win in dominant fashion! She grins widely, circling about the four sides of the ring and completely ignoring Barnard’s fallen form.

“She put up a good fight,” Hannah says, smiling to reporters later on. “But I was simply better. And I’m gonna STAY better till the cows come home.”
