3. Lily Collins vs Emma Watson (IV/Special Guest Referee: Nell Tiger Free)
Lily: (33, 5’5, 112, 78:19 FCBA, VIXENs)
Emma: (32, 5’5, 60:37 FCBA, VIXENs)
BEFORE: Lily Collins is no longer smiling during these pressers, having now gone 0-2 to arch-nemesis Watson, and narrowing her brows at a reporter’s suggestion that perhaps… she should be reevaluating her strategy going forward…
“Or perhaps I should just come over there and punch you in the face?” Lily snarls, losing her cool, and drawing a chuckle from Watson in the other corner of the room.
“It’s going swimmingly, thank you for asking,” Emma later says, beaming wide. “I’ve never felt stronger, more energetic. Maybe dear Lils brings out the best in me…”
Lily rolls her eyes, looking away, before responding. “There’s time left to get into the lead. I’m not giving up just yet. What I AM worried about is our special guest referee for tonight’s contest. I trust our dear Nell to be… impartial.”
The fourth battle in the Race to the Hall-of-Fame features another Special Guest Referee to the ring, in none other than fellow Vixen, Nell Tiger Free. The youngest Flyweight on the roster has already had her fair share of encounters with the rest of her stablemates, having faced off against Emma and Lily, twice each, and is already itching to prove herself further.
“I’m sure Nell’s going to be an EXCELLENT judge of character,” Emma smiles from the side.
And though Nell’s trying to remain polite, the Vixen no doubt has painful memories of being humiliated by BOTH women in the past.
Moments later, Emma and Lily are squaring off from opposite ends of the ring... Lily’s hype train has all but skid to a stop - sure, she almost made history last year with the most number of wins in a streak ever. But facing off against a former Flyweight champion is very different from going after 32 Free Agents.
Nell’s in the center of the ring, trying to remain professional for now, dressed in a white-black crop top and long denim jeans. Emma’s in white gloves for tonight, with Lily in orange. HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!
ROUND 1: Lily flies into action at the sound of the bell, a long road to redemption here tonight, especially if she wants to even the score. She slams those flurries into Emma’s guard with purpose, lighting up the arms and even taking early pot-shots at her tummy. She knows that Watson’s abs can’t hold a candle to her own, and so that has proven to be a viable target in the past. Emma being Emma, holding her ground and used to taking punishment especially early on, protecting her chin with both arms and then landing the occasional jab back into Lily’s oncoming facial features. It doesn’t turn the tide for the Harry Potter girl, but it at least keeps her on the scorecards for now. Bell rings and Nell steps in swiftly, blocking Lily just as she was about to rush in to try and finish the fight via flash KO. She’s taken the opening round wide, which is a promising start indeed… if she can sustain this momentum.
ROUND 2: Lily’s hectic fight schedule must be still catching up to her, because Emma’s easily telegraphing her attacks and then rocking a return swing to her chin, slamming a third hook into the side of her jaw to stun her in the opening minute. For all the times these two have fought, you’d think that Lily would have learned her lesson by now. But no, she’s still allowing herself to be caught by those open, return counter-swings, Emma turning her head to the side again after blocking a wild flurry to her own noggin’. Lily growls deep and PUSHES in some more, oblivious to the damage she’s taking. She pays Emma back late in the round with a hook landing around her arms, stunning her briefly to the cheek, before a snap uppercut almost sends her reeling backwards. But the punch lacked power and focus, and before Lily can leap in to finish her off, Nell has already gotten in between them, ordering them back to their corners. Lily heard cursing at her fellow stablemate, almost throwing a punch into her face as well, before storming back to her corner. There’s no arguing with the clock, Ms Collins, no matter how strong-willed you are.
ROUND 3: Emma continues to dominate, following that old adage of slow and steady wins the Harry Potter starlet the race. She keeps herself mobile and both feet light, skirting around Lily’s hooks before jamming her own jabs back into her face. Collins keeps eating leather, and lets out a shout of frustration by the middle minute, yelling at Nell “Order her to come and fight me!” which earns a grin from her foe and a shrug from Nell herself. Not sure what Lily was expecting Tiger Free to do there, but it’s true that the relative newcomer is not making her presence felt much within the ring itself, which just gives a slippery Emma even more room to play with. Emma of course has NO intentions of brawling with Collins, not when she has the upper hand in terms of agility and precision, and rams another right hand to the kisser just to punctuate her point. Lily has no choice but to keep away for the rest of the round, not if she wishes to go down in humiliating fashion once more. Bell rings and there was a lack of big-time, brawling action, but it’s no surprise that Watson takes it wide again.
ROUND 4: And Lily’s positively had ENOUGH! The British Flyweight marches in a beeline towards her rival and starts WAILING on her arms from the very start! If you can’t beat them, beat on them some more, we guess! Watson is certainly having to dig deep and weather this onslaught, getting the air forced from her lungs as Lily hooks the arms up top before deliberately going low to stuff leather into her stomach, drawing withering grunts from the other actress. If Emma’s not careful here she’s going to find herself beaten back into the ropes, but for now, a messy clinch or two manages to save her, both girls hugging each other around the arms and back whilst refusing to make eye contact. Emma, slightly bulkier, does turn the pair around once or twice, ramming her own short punches into the side of Lily’s head or ribs, but Lily is the one still driving this rodeo. Nell has to step in to separate both gals at the bell, and in the process, almost eat a faceful of leather herself from both fighters still swinging at each other on the separation.
ROUND 5: Emma’s lack of aggression has always been her Achilles’ Heel, and she’s struggled in the past to also contain others trying to get into her face to take advantage of her meekness. Lily is fully aware of this flaw, marches right back in and begins targeting the British starlet’s sides and undercarriage, first drilling a right cross firmly into her arms before repeating the move with a left hand to the belly. Emma gurgling but also having braced herself - it’s the follow-up barrage that she has to be worried about, as Collins wades in and continues to hammer on her guard and almost always ending with a strong arm to the midsection. This, however, makes her predictable, and Emma fluidly allows her arms to travel up and down, intercepting most of Lily’s attacks, before rapping her across the face with a short, snappy hook, another driven sideways to the chin for good measure, before a a third is slammed into the side of her torso! Lily looks stunned, her mouth hanging open, her turn to get walked towards the ropes, struggling to suddenly cover up! Emma takes her time, one-step in and another hand POUNDING on her fellow Vixen’s arms, trying to demolish her resolve. But Lily’s retreat sees her escape certain disaster, and the bell rings and leaves her gasping for air near the ropes. Sure, she still took this round by a close margin, but Emma’s street smarts are getting her worried indeed. She fends off a concerned-looking Nell near the ropes, who wants to check on that cut above the eye. Lily tells her to “Get lost!” and shouting, “Of course I’m fine!”, which earns a glare from the referee.
ROUND 6: Several false starts here as Lily tries to come out of her corner WAY before the bell officially rings, leaving Nell no choice but to intercept, put her foot down and big girl pants on, and warn her fellow Vixen that if she does it again, there’ll be hell to pay. Lily gnashing her teeth, can’t believe this sh*t. She’s eager to get back in there and brawl with her nemesis, who’s just smirking and catching her breath the entire way. FINALLY we get a clean start, and by this point, Emma’s more than a little refreshed and ready for Collins! Lily initiates with a jab-cross combo, but the first is taken on the arms, the second sailing by the head with an easy slip to the side! Watson stays calm, collected, a little catty smirk on her lips as she toys with her overeager foe. Lily tries to go after the actress’ body like last time but finds forearms in the way. And suddenly, it’s her face getting stuffed with leather once more, as Emma socks her with a left jab to the nose, then a right hook gets stuffed into her cheek, drawing a terrible gurgle from Collins’ lips! AND HERE EMMA COMES, methodical push forwards she beats and pounds on Lily’s arms and body, taking precision strikes to the actress’ lean abs and the sides of her head when her guard ain’t looking. Lily’s in trouble… AGAIN… getting walked into the ropes where she tries to clinch up… semi-pleading to the side for Nell Tiger Free to save her this time, call a time-out… anything! But after Tiger Free’s own treatment at her catty hands, the VIX rookie sees NO reason to stop the action! She allows Emma to get in close, ramming tight uppercuts up into her midsection, then rocketing a final one up into the base of her chin! AND DOWN LILY GOES, her head snapped back and body wilting on the way down… she lands with a THUD by her side by the ropes, and simply paws at the canvas throughout the rest of the 10-count! The damage is irreparable, as is Emma’s lead in this Race to the Hall-of-Fame, by the looks of things! Watson lets out an elated cry of victory when the referee finally waves for the bell! She’s DONE IT AGAIN!
Official Decision: Emma Watson defeats Lily Collins via KO6!
AFTER: Good lord! Lily kick-started this race with an early lead, but by this third loss, it looks like Miss Watson might be miles ahead of her and disappearing into the distant horizon! We all expected some kind of see-sawing balanced affair between these two rivals, but the results so far have put Emma Watson within inches of the finish line!
The Harry Potter starlet must be feeling especially confident in her chances of beating her rival into the Hall, because Emma’s strutting over in the post-fight aftermath, and gloating over Lily with several punting kicks to her sides!
Lily curls up into a ball, refusing to give up more ground. But after Emma reaches down to grab her hair, Lily flies into a rage, slamming a punch into her body before trying to scramble away on all fours!
But now, Watson WANTS tummy! She drags a shrieking Collins by her feet to the middle of the ring, avoiding a punt kick or two aimed for her face. Instead, she rams a soccer kick into Lily’s stomach, forcing poor Lils further into a ball.
Then, Emma has her way with her, dragging a groaning Lily up by her hair, taunting her with sweet hisses. There’s only ONE more fight between these two before we can determine a winner, and so far, Miss Watson has already won three fights in a row, with a fourth being inevitable in the British girl’s eyes.
“Here’s a taste of what’s to come, dear Lils,” Emma’s eyes flashing with malice, hauling the disheveled Lily into a corner and then quickly thrusting her tummy into her trapped face, using the ropes for further leverage.
Lily is trapped between a steel post and sweat-slicked abs, trying to turn her head away and slap at Emma’s thighs and buttocks. But Watson keeps one hand buried in the top of her hair, wrenching it back and forcing those pouting lips to soak in tummy flesh.
Poor Nell Tiger Free is ordered by the ring officials to break it up, but even the rookie looks scared as she approaches the heaving Emma, who shoots her a dangerous look, and hisses, “You want to be next, Nell?”
Nell glances back at the judges, and decides she’d rather face their wrath than Watson’s. Later, Collins vows revenge, spitting and retching the taste of tummy by ringside, before telling reporters, “I just need to win the last one. Then you’re FINISHED, Twatson!!”
Emma already halfway back up the ramp, waving fingers at the adoring crowd. Even though she’s won the last three matches combined, she knows that a slip up at the finish line is definitely a possibility, and all Lily needs to do to beat her into the Hall is win this final match between them.
