Canadian Invasion @ The Asylum III: Season of the Witch PPV

BEFORE:

"It's always good to be back here," says Tracy with a smile. "I really enjoyed fighting for Bazz here in Philly. And, I've drawn a tough assignment in Olivia. But. I'm up for it."

"She's got a very good reputation around here," says Olivia with a smile. "And, I like her. But, between the ropes, it has to be all business."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Blitzkrieg Bop' by the Ramones you hear and..."

Cassie: "Trac-EE! Trac-EE!"

O'Dell (laughing): "That's Cassie's former Bazz stablemate Tracy Spiridakos on her way to the ring..."

Tess: "That may be the first time I've ever heard you laugh at an Asylum card..."

O'Dell: "Tracy down the aisle to tap glove to fist with Cassie on her way to the ring. Spiridakos climbs in and is helped off with the robe to reveal a white number that gets the crowd popping..."

McCarthy: "Philly..."

Cassie (quietly): "Say it about Tracy and you'll PAY..."

McCarthy: "Are you THREATENING me, Scabbo?"

Cassie: "I'm TELLING you. I have access to this arena 24/7/365..."

McCarthy: "I'll SUE!"

O'Dell: "THIS is why I never laugh. Aaannnddd that's 'Good 4 U' hammering through the Asylum, and here comes the singer of that tune, 'The Murrieta Mauler', Olivia Rodrigo!"

Tess: "Olivia on quite the run right now, having won twelve in a row as she moves up the bantamweight rankings."

O'Dell: "Rodrigo into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and the crowd appreciating Olivia in that Persian blue two-piece she likes. Ladies about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Olivia. Mac?"

McCarthy: "I'M not picking Scabbo's running buddy! Olivia!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Here we go, and Tracy aggressive early. Blonde stepping right to the brunette and backing her up with heavy fire. Can't be surprised by these tactics from the Canadian, because we've seen Tracy a lot of times in this ring, and she can do a lot of things very, very well..."

Cassie: "No doubt about it. Great athlete. Hits hard. Ton of skill."

O'Dell: "And, all of that being brought to bear right now on Olivia, who's forced to the back foot here. Singer wants some space. She's working the jab, trying to create, but Spiridakos isn't having it. She's pressuring, forcing Rodrigo back again and again right now."

McCarthy: "I'D have either of these two out of here by now. They're just lucky I only fight cougars these days..."

O'Dell: "We've gotten through 2:40 of the first. Final twenty seconds now and Tracy in control as she has been the entire round. Olivia not hurt, but she's in reverse and can't seem to find the gear shift. NICE flurry there from the Canadian, and there's the bell. Spiridakos. Wide."

Tess: "And, Tracy takes the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Tracy wants to continue with the pressure, but Olivia moving the feet now, using the legs. She's circling, jabbing, bouncing on the balls of the feet, getting the range she wants with the legs. Tracy still trying to close, but she's being stopped by the jab..."

Tess: "And, by the time she gets going again, Olivia's long gone."

O'Dell: "Definitely good stuff for the young brunette. She's getting things rolling, getting punches put together. Spiridakos, meanwhile, resolute. She's working forward and when she's able to get to middle distances or even in close, she's getting the better of things..."

McCarthy: "But, she's not able to do that often enough."

O'Dell: "There, indeed, is the rub. We're down under fifteen seconds in an action-packed second. Olivia bouncin', misbehavin'. Tracy coming forward, stopped by a quick combination and there's the bell. For the second round in a row, no doubt about it. Olivia. Wide."

Cassie: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Spiridakos doing the adjusting now as the third gets underway. Tracy stalking now rather than boring forward. She's moving the feet, looking to cut the ring and force Olivia into pitched battle. Rodrigo, on the other hand, wants to work at range, use the jab, box with."

Cassie: "And, both girls getting some of what they want here."

O'Dell: "Some, but not nearly as MUCH as they want. Result is two-way action without a lot in it, at least at the moment. Lots of stuff for both fans and purists to like, though, because there's plenty of action and lots of skill being demonstrated by both fighters at the moment..."

McCarthy: "Let's not get carried away. There's no J-Mac level stuff happening in there..."

O'Dell: "We're coming down the stretch now, and both fighters know the points hang in the balance. Both upping the ante a little now to try to steal them. Sharp exchange and another and a third and there's the bell. Very close, but the Canadian will get the points."

Tess: "And, Spiridakos leads 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth beings on the same terms as the third. Olivia looking to move, work at range. Tracy wants to close, get physical with the younger woman, and, for the second round in a row, both fighters able to dictate terms at times, but no one able to take control of things."

Tess: "Some good D on display here. Lots of punches being blocked and slipped."

O'Dell: "But, there's plenty of volume, meaning solid shot is landing for both the blonde and the brunette and THERE'S A RIGHT HAND FROM OLIVIA and and Tracy iS HURT! Spiridakos covering up, Rodrigo letting the hands go and A LEFT HOOK DROPS HER!"

McCarthy: "Might not get up from that..."

O'Dell: "Spiridakos down on her left side. Olivia to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Tracy sitting up at six. Seven. Getting to her feet and STUMBLING BACK TO HER KNEES. Nine! TEN! It's OVER! Spiridakos can't beat the count and it's OVER and your winner by KO4 is 'The Murrieta Mauler' Olivia Rodrigo!"

Cassie: "Big time work from Olivia. Big time."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Olivia Rodrigo, and, Olivia, it wasn't easy in there..."

Olivia (shaking her head): "Never going to be against a girl like HER. She's very good, very tough, can really hit. For me, it's about fighting my fight. When I find ways to do that, well. I beat girls. That's all there is to it."

Tess: "So, what's next for you?"

Olivia: "That's up to management. I just want to keep working, keep getting better. And, that starts back in the gym this week."
