Intro:
The second bout tonight sees the ACB bantamweight champion Elisha Herbert continue her FCBA excursion, taking on a woman who once was seen as being a future face of the bantamweight division, Jessica Nigri is looking for her first win in two years on the sand on Copacabana beach.

Before the bout Elisha posted to her social media "the FCBA trip continues as now I get to show off my talents in Brazil, getting to beat up some fake Barbie wannabe is just the cherry on top" showing she isn't too worried about her opponent, more focused on proving her quality to the world.

While Jessica posts "back to the beach I go, hopefully people remember I can actually do this sport, especially when faced with some skinny rat who thinks she is a top fighter, Elisha can go back to Australia crying after I am finished with her" clearly confident she will fix her lack of form after this bout.

Fighting time, there are two bleachers each side of the ring, the cameras catching the beautiful waters as the judges tables is on the tide side of the ring, the ring posts have been set into the beach, ready for the fighters to step into.

First onto the beach steps Elisha with her coach Nicky Whelan to her right side, Elisha wearing a white bikini with matching gloves in contrast to her tanned physique, hair is braided as she climbs through the ropes into the ring, nodding to Nicky with a smile as she is relaxed, this isn't her first time boxing on sand as she won the ACB bantamweight title in a beach boxing bout.

Now here comes Jessica wearing a "Batman" mask as she shows off her cosplayer background, jogging to the ring wearing a black bikini, yellow and black "Batman" symbol painted across her chest, yellow gloves, while her hair is braided, the mask comes off before she steps into the ring, flexing her arms to show off to her opponent, who fakes a yawn in reply.

The fighters jog to the middle of the ring, eyes locked as the referee goes through their instructions, smirks on both confident fighters faces, they fist bump then jog back to their corners, both nodding they are ready, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Both fighters look relaxed as they feel each others skills out in the early going, single punches mostly being exchanged, with a few flurries to add a little flavour, Elisha feints with a jab then sidesteps a left hook coming at her to pound in a counter left to the jaw of Jessica to make her back up, making Elisha grin.

Stepping inside to work before moving back to range, Elisha is using skirmish style attacks early on, making Jessica look annoyed when she tries to land a hook and only finds thin air, Elisha looking more at home in these first two minutes in the sand, Jessica no novice on it but Elisha clearly loves the beach as she is gliding around it.

But something Herbert doesn't enjoy is getting hit to the chest, a double jab slams into her chest to make her hiss out, distracting her long enough for a right hook lands on the jaw of the Aussie to turn her head, now Nigri has her in her sights, she lands a follow up jab/straight combo into the face of her opponent to force her near the ropes, Elisha showing her stubbornness to throw back at Jessica, even as she looks to be taking the harder shots, the round soon comes to a close, while Elisha should probably be the happier of the pair, Jessica should enjoy the success she had late in the round.

Round 2:
Pushing out their corners to engage, Jessica is looking to get in a little closer and use her slight reach advantage to stop Elisha being able to dodge as easily, both landing several good clean punches to beautiful faces, a straight is stuffed into Elisha's face to knock her back a step, showing the raw power Jessica has through her punches.

Second minute sees Jessica start to get on top of things after she lands a jab into the lips of her opponent, barking with effort as she slams punches through any gaps she can see in her opponents defences, Jessica is showing her experience as she starts to pick her punches, Elisha starting to miss as she gets frustrated and starts swinging more wilder punches.

Less then forty seconds to go, Elisha manages to calm down enough to duck under a straight to move inside to whack away at the body of Jessica with hooks, maybe hoping to sap some of her power away with her energy, Elisha gets nudged back by Jessica, leading to a toe to toe exchange in the final ten seconds, crowd roaring them on till the bell rings, both scowl at the other before jogging past their opponent to return to their corners.

Round 3:
Punches are definitely finding a home more through both fighters guards, they are opening up to be more aggressive, Elisha isn't being as mobile as before, playing into Jessica's hands as the American lands several good clean punches into her face, leading to Elisha's bottom lip being cut by a right cross.

Not one to turn down a target, Jessica slams in a double jab on the blood lip, causing Elisha to grimace as she backs up, the cosplay legend has her herded near the ropes now, making Elisha cover up more tightly as she switches targets to the body to try to open her up.

A left hook from Elisha allows her to move off the ropes as Jessica gets her head turned, in space Elisha looks more relaxed as she doubles up her jab, both women catching the other with solid punches, crowd torn between them as Jessica again misses with a few big hooks as the Aussie seems to have remembered what was working before, at the bell it's another round for Nigri, while Herbert has to get her cut lip patched up.

Round 4:
Seeing Elisha go back on the move, Jessica goes back to whacking her in the chest, Elisha grimaces each time she is being hit to her boobs, she sticks in though to whack in a left/right cross combo up top, showing Jessica she will pay a price if she keeps going back to that well, they nearly clash heads when they step in with straights, Jessica showing some frustration as she shoves Elisha to her chest, getting a warning from the referee as they try to cool things down a little.

Resuming with eyes firmly locked, Jessica manages to catch Elisha on her cut lip with a jab/straight combo to reopen it, Elisha backing up near the ropes as Jessica looks to pile the pressure on, instead a missed straight by Nigri earns her a short right hook under her ribs, followed by a left overhand punch under her right eye to make her blink and back off.

Elisha like a viper lands a jab/right cross right on the chin of Jessica, who stumbles back two steps and nearly falls on her backside, maybe she was simply unbalanced there but Jessica is the one getting the heat put on her, punches drilling through her mitts to her face by an ultra aggressive Elisha now, the round comes to a close with Jessica pinned to the ropes, pissed off expression as she returns to her corner, Elisha meanwhile looks fully focused as she returns to hers, coaches wiping down their fighters as things are heating up in the ring.

Round 5:
It isn't long before Elisha counters Jessica again, the quickness of the Aussie on show as she slips a straight to bang in a flush uppercut, there's a buckling of Nigri's knees after a left hook follows onto the chin of Jessica, who tries to clinch up, ANOTHER UPPERCUT LANDS ON HER CHIN AND DOWN CRUMBLES NIGRI TO ALL FOURS AS ELISHA STEPS BACK!

Elisha jogging to the neutral corner with a cocky smirk as Nicky applauds her, 1...2...3... Jessica looks up from her position and blinks to try to clear her head, 4....5....6... Trying to get to her feet, 7...8... Instead Jessica falls onto her haunches as her legs must feel like jelly, 9...10 she can only watch the count as she is counted out!

Winner Elisha Herbert KO Round 5

After:
Elisha gets another impressive win in her young career, she seems to have something on her mind more then celebrating with her coach, getting her gloves taken off, she grabs a can of Fosters beer from Nicky, with a cruel smirk she heads over to Jessica, then pours the contents of the can over the head of the beaten fighter, telling her "only rat here is you Jessica, here's a taste of Australia as a gift to you" as Jessica tries to wipe the beer going into her eyes away with her gloves, smelling like beer certainly wasn't the way she wanted this fight to end.

The winner grinning as she returns to her corner, getting a high five from Nicky as both laugh at Jessica, who is helped over to her corner by her coach, though she would prefer a shower as tears of anger fill her eyes, a humiliated look on her face as her body paint now looks a mess on her chest and some over her stomach now.

As Jessica leaves the ring, she turns her head to give Elisha a scowl, clearly she won't forget this one in a hurry, especially as Elisha gives her a mocking blown kiss as she goes, clearly things won't simmer down between these two women for a while.

In the ring Elisha gets a quick drink of water, then heads to the center of the ring, the winner getting her left hand raised as she blows a kiss with her right to the cameras, telling the crowd "this is what makes Australia great!" Then waves her hands over herself to point out it's gorgeous women like her, smiling brightly when she gets a few whistles in reply.

Heading out the ring with her coach to her right, both joking about if there are any more cans in the bar of the hotel, the main thing is this seems the end for now of Elisha's expedition to the FCBA to gain more experience and showcase a little of the ACB, now time to go back to Australia to defend her ACB bantamweight title sooner then later.
