Intro:
Now it's time for two models who have been dabbling in pro fighting of a slightly different kind lately, Mia Kang and Elisabetta Canalis meet on Copacabana Beach to box, both needing to build momentum in their careers if they hope to keep getting chances in the FCBA.

It was Mia who set this fight up with her comments online, after seeing Elisabetta's amateur kickboxing debut posted online, Mia remarked "nice moves Elisabetta, I respect that you took the plunge as I have before and risked getting your head kicked off, though when I had my pro muay Thai fight, I didn't have pads on, guess you were worried about getting your make up messed up" that comment certainly stirred the pot.

Elisabetta replied "why thank you Mia for the kind words, my make up was beautiful on the night, not as impressive as my kicks though, now while I'd love to show you how good they are first hand, I am happy for us to do something we both love, going to the beach in our bikinis, gloves on and let's have it out, game Mia?" The challenge out there for the world to see, Elisabetta showing how ready she is for a showdown with her choice of photo.

It wasn't too long before Mia fired back herself, answering the challenge with "if you want to settle it by boxing, then so be it, all this talk about how impressive you were against a timid opponent, I actually will hit you back" posting her own photo to show Canalis what she will face.

The FNL committee put forwards a contract to both women to settle it on this card, several weeks after the feud begun, the ring posts are set directly in the sand, with bleachers either side, the crowd is electric after the first two fights.

First to walk onto the beach is Mia with her coach Kelly Hu, she looks to have laser focus as she steps into the ring, wearing a white bikini with red gloves, hair tied into a ponytail as she bounces on her toes, Kelly telling her to show Elisabetta what a real fighter looks like in the ring.

Here comes the former Italian national champion Elisabetta with her coach behind her, Elisabetta taps her navy blue gloves together, a matching bikini adorns her impressive body, while her hair is also tied into a ponytail as she climbs into the ring, acknowledging the cheers from her supporters by giving them a quick smile and a nod before looking focused.

No words are exchanged when they meet at the center of the ring, they do though have intense looks on their gorgeous faces, the touch of gloves isn't too friendly as a crack of leather rings out, jogging to their corners as their supporters whistle and cheers both on, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Scowling as they engage around the middle of the ring, both a little cautious as they trade jabs in the opening moments, then step in two trade a little flurry, feeling each others power as they move back to range, Mia then stuffs a jab/straight combo through the guard of the Italian beauty to snap her head back to the delight of her coach.

A missed left cross by Elisabetta sees her take a counter right into her cheek, Mia driving her to the ropes, whacking in hooks to the body when the former national champion covers up, both women trading a few rabbit punches behind heads till they are broken up by the referee, resuming with Canalis the quicker off the mark with a double jab on the lips of the Asian fighter.

Late in the round Elisabetta is showing a little more bite to her punches, some sneaking into the chest of her opponent to make Mia grit her gumshield, best punch of the round comes moments before the end as a left hook catches Elisabetta around her eye, making her back off as Mia wants to charge her, the bell rings to end proceedings, both return to their corners, the tension is clear to see as they have ice cold stares aimed at their opponent.

Round 2:
Trading more stiffer punches, Mia starting off with the crisper punches as they box at range, Elisabetta though ducking under some slack punches to test the abs of Kang on the inside, getting nudged back as both try to enforce their will on the fight during the opening minute.

Elisabetta then gets back inside with a left hook to the body, then lands an overhand right to the jaw of Mia, who now finds herself being pressed into a neutral corner, Canalis swinging in hooks wanting, getting clinched up as Mia looks annoyed that she got caught, they push apart with Mia getting out of the corner into space.

That success though is giving Elisabetta more confidence to step in to trade, in closer range Mia's punches don't have the same power, they nearly clash heads when Elisabetta dips hers down to work the body of her opponent, Mia not looking best pleased as she shoves her back and curses her in her native tongue, the round soon ends with Mia tapping her cheeks, not pleased with how that round went.

Round 3:
Neither is exactly playing as thuds can be heard as they land punches, Mia marking up the cheeks of Elisabetta when she is landing cross punches, getting caught with a few hooks around her body in reply as the crowd show their love for both fighters by chanting their names, Elisabetta drills in a crisp jab into the chin of Mia to make her back off.

As they enter the second minute of action, Mia tries to step in with a straight, it misses as Elisabetta slips it then bangs in a right onto the ear of Mia, who takes a step back, CANALIS LANDS AN UPPERCUT ON THE CHIN OF MIA TO SEND HER TUMBLING ONTO HER BACKSIDE!

Elisabetta jogs to the neutral corner with a smile, flexing her arms for a camera with a wink, 1...2...3... Mia certainly isn't in a playful mood as she punches the sand with her right glove, 4...5...6... Pushing to her right knee as her left foot is planted, 7...8... Mia beats the count, raising her gloves to show she is good, the sand is wiped off her gloves before she is allowed to fight on.

Here comes Elisabetta but it's clear that it was more a flash knockdown then one of real substance, Mia stabbing in straight punches to her opponents face as Elisabetta looks to land a big shot in the final minute, having to go back to pick her punches as they box around the ring till the round comes to an end, great round for Canalis as she returns to her corner, getting a hug from her coach as they enjoyed that knockdown, Mia being told off Kelly to not be so reckless, Mia nodding in reply as she tells herself "come on!" As she gets to her feet ready for the next round.

Round 4:
At the bell Elisabetta is looking confident as she tries to stab in her punches, Mia boxing behind a more tighter guard as she doesn't want a repeat of the last round, with Elisabetta crouching under a straight but not landing cleanly as Mia leans just enough out the way to only take a grazing shot to her cheek.

It's becoming a more cagey affair as Mia is boxing on the move, Elisabetta following after her, Elisabetta manages to press Mia against the ropes after stuffing a straight into her face, a right cross follows to the cheek of Mia, who soon clinches up before Canalis can really motor on, both toned fighters trying to control the clinch by forcing the other against the ropes, referee needing to break them up as the order to split is falling on deaf ears.

Less then fifty seconds to go, Mia catches Elisabetta coming in with a jab on her forehead, followed by a short right around her temple, Elisabetta stumbles back two steps, with Mia now pounding her to the face to knock her back to the ropes, this time Elisabetta grabs onto her, both fighters look itching to throw knees into each others bodies judging by their legs bumping in the clinch, the round soon ends after they are broken up, closely fought round for both, corners working to clean them up as both have marks over their cheeks.

Round 5:
Trading more stiff punches out the gate, Mia leans out the way of a right cross, replying with a right that lands square onto the nose of Elisabetta, blood starts to flow from it as Canalis shuts her eyes for a moment, big mistake as Mia starts whacking her across the face with three solid cross punches, Elisabetta stumbles back towards the ropes, RIGHT HOOK ON HER TEMPLE SENDS CANALIS TUMBLING WITH A CRASH INTO THE SAND ON HER RIGHT SIDE! GUMSHIELD HANGING OUT HER MOUTH!

Mia doesn't bother posturing, just marches to the neutral corner as her supporters cheer her, 1...2...3....4... Elisabetta looks lost to the world as she is heard groaning, 5....6.....7... Not really moving as her eyes open slightly, 8...9....10 getting counted out in the same position she went down in!

Winner Mia Kang KO Round 5

After:
While maybe someday we'll find out whose the better fighter in kickboxing rules, right now Mia has proven she is the better boxer, flexing her arms for the cameras with a serious look, showing she means business for anyone who wants to fight her, then heading to her corner to get cleaned up.

Elisabetta on the other hand has the ringside doctor and her coach checking on her, it takes a few moments but she is sitting up to the delight of her fans, nodding that she will be OK, though she holds her jaw as she looks like she got hit by a truck.

After a minute Elisabetta is helped to stand, the ringside doctor wanting to run tests on her to make sure she is OK, Elisabetta looks downbeat as she goes, scoring the knockdown was impressive, getting knocked out is not, she will have to think about what could have been from now on as she showed she can still bang but is it time she focuses more on her outside stuff then maybe celebrity boxing?

In the ring one person excited is Kelly as she tells Mia "you proved your the FCBA's ultimate fighter" winking as Mia smiles for the first time since she stepped into the ring, she gives Kelly a fist bump once her gloves are off, thanking her for keeping her focused after that disaster of a third round.

Heading to the middle of the ring, Mia gets her left arm raised, before she bows to each side of the ring to show her respect to the crowd, Mia then leaves the ring, looking impressive again at lightweight as she heads off the beach, Mia looks a dangerous prospect for any fighter on her best days.
