Intro:
Next up former BBU flyweight champion Mikie Hara looks to try to get her FCBA career going after two defeats in the organisation, her opponent is former FCBA title contender Brenda Song, who coincidentally holds a BBU record of zero wins and two defeats, Singapore Indoor Stadium is the venue for this bout.

Before the bout both fighters were asked for their opinions on their opponent by the FCBA Networks interviewer Alicia Atout, who first saw Mikie Hara heading to her locker room, Mikie wearing a blue blouse with blue denim jeans and black heels, she stops with a quick roll of her eyes at the sight of Alicia.

Who asks for her thoughts, Mikie answers "I am simply here to win, I don't care who is placed in front of it, Brenda is not going to stop me, so please let me pass you" bumping the shoulder of Alicia with her right, clearly not in the mood to be disturbed.

Brenda on the other hand is clearly happy to give up a few moments, she meets Alicia in the interview area, wearing a black T-shirt and black denim jeans, she gives a quick wave to the camera for her fans, before nodding when asked what the fight means to her.

She answers "this is my chance to get back on the right path, last fight I won was against Hayley (Williams) so I can still produce a performance to win, just been harder fighting it, Mikie I know is a future BBU legend, here in the FCBA though she is a nobody, she ain't making her name off my back" getting serious at that last part.

Before Brenda goes, she adds "oh and I hope managers watch this fight, I am still a top fighter" pointing at herself with a cheeky grin, thanking Alicia for the time to speak, then heads off to go to her locker room, Alicia smiling herself, happier to deal with Brenda then some fighters.

Fighting time, first out through the curtain comes Mikie with her coach Miyada Issiki, she bows to each side of the stage, then walks down to the ring with her usual ice cold expression, stepping into the ring, Mikie is wearing a white sports bra and shoes, white trunks with her surname written in red letters on the waistband, red gloves and her hair tied into a braid, she takes a breath before shadow boxing to warm up.

Brenda now steps out onto the stage, arms in the air as she smiles, looking more serious as she walks down the aisle, tapping her cheeks with her black gloves to psyche herself up, then jogs up the ring steps before climbing into the ring, wearing a black sports bra, matching trunks and shoes too, hair in a ponytail as she hugs her coach.

The referee waves both women to the center, where they lock eyes as the crowd looks fired up, bouncing on their toes as the instructions are read out by the referee, quick swipe of gloves between the fighters, then jogging back to their corners, both ready when the bell rings to start 10 rounds of flyweight action

Round 1:
Quick fire jabs coming from both fighters as they dance up on their toes, Mikie soon steps in to try to land a left/right jab combo, Brenda getting her gloves up in time, landing a counter straight back into Mikie's face, showing she has definitely taken this fight seriously, Mikie backing off and resetting herself.

Back come the fighters together, again both showing quick hands, exchanging till Mikie leans out the way of a right hook, she lands a stabbing right into the face of Brenda, followed by a short left hook to turn her head, Mikie doesn't give Brenda much time to reset herself, instead pressing her back with both shot to the body and around the sides of her head, Brenda pushing off Mikie, moving away from the ropes.

Now Hara has confidence as she bangs in straight punches to the face of Brenda, who maybe is falling into old had habits as her guard isn't as tight as it should be, instead she tries to fire back over the top, missing as Mikie sees them coming, driving punches back into the American fighters face, the bell rings with Mikie making a slow start, she has to be happy inside how it went, even she has her usual cold expression on the outside.

Round 2:
Mikie starting faster this time with two punch combos coming Song'a way, Brenda into moving her head more, while firing in counter punches around the chest of Mikie, trying to show her that she won't be so easy to bully back, both women intensely staring the other down as they box around the ring.

A missed jab by Mikie leaves her opponent to an overhand right to the side of her head, Brenda getting in tight to Mikie, ramming her left repeatedly into the belly button of the Japanese star, forcing Mikie to the ropes, with Mikie forced to clinch when a left/right hook combo slams into her ribs.

The referee splits them up with less then a minute to go, the tables turned on Mikie as she now finds herself with the back on her ropes, Brenda showing her skills with little feints, coming in and out of range more freely, though taking a few punches around her forehead to give her fans something to maybe worry about, at the end of the round, Brenda returns to her corner with a relaxed look on her face, Mikie showing why she would make a good poker player as she doesn't show any real emotion, even after such a bad round for her in the end.

Round 3:
Resuming the fight around the middle of the ring, Brenda is being an annoying fly to Mikie, moving in to work the body, then moving back to the outside, forcing Mikie to give chase, Mikie taps her gloves together and takes a breath to keep her cool, slamming a double jab moments later into the forehead of her opponent to knock her head back.

A sweeping right hook then turns Brenda's head to the side, suddenly she is back under real pressure, Mikie driving her into a neutral corner, bashing away in close around the abs of Song, who grits her mouthpiece trying not to let out any groans, failing as soon she can't hold them in, clinching up to slow Hara down.

The fight continues after they are broken up, Mikie hunting Brenda around the ring, both landing stiff jabs but it's Mikie whose landing more, a straight though just misses Brenda's head, with Brenda landing a short left hook to the body in reply, trying in close as they body up, the round comes to a close, referee steps in but both brake apart, they sit on their stool getting advice, nodding as they are in a tough fight, maybe hoping that this wouldn't have been so hard.

Round 4:
They step back out with Mikie again looking stronger to start, using her height advantage to stab at the head of Brenda, looking to keep her on the outside as Brenda needs to find her way to the inside, the American beauty staring hard at Mikie, showing determination she hasn't always, stepping in with punches around the stomach of Mikie to open her up.

An overhand right slams across Mikie's cheek after she misses with a straight, Brenda then lands an uppercut to send Mikie back onto her heels, with Brenda muscling her against the ropes, slamming her punches anywhere she can find gaps in Mikie's defence, with Mikie pulling her into a clinch, the referee splitting them up as they grapple, once apart Brenda is quickest off the mark with a jab square into Mikie's chin to knock her head back.

Back goes Mikie as Brenda again throws in power punches, Mikie looking a little rattled, her cheeks being pounded by hooks, again holding onto Brenda, both fighters nearly trip up as their feet get stuck together, referee again breaks them up with moments left in the round, both fighters going toe to toe in a heated finish to the round, fans roaring as the fighters stop at the bell, eyes intensely staring at their opponent, referee ordering them twice to their corners as both are marked up, more noticeable slightly on Mikie's procelin like skin.

Round 5:
As they kick off again, Brenda is quick off the mark, feinting up top as she moves around Mikie, then slams a harpoon like right into the body of Mikie, who can't help groan out and back off looking winded, Brenda not giving her much breathing room, slamming in hooks that turn her head side to side, the Song fans on their feet roaring their girl on, Hara holding desperately onto her to stop her rhthym and get a breather.

After the referee pries them apart, Mikie is still struggling as Brenda slams a jab under the chin of Mikie, then another hard right to the body, making Mikie cry out as she backs off, BRENDA SLAMS IN A RIGHT INTO THE LIVER AREA OF MIKIE, WHO CRUMBLES DOWN TO ALL FOURS AT BRENDA'S FEET!

Brenda jogs to the neutral corner, nodding over to her coach as she pumps her right fist, 1...2...3... Mikie spits out her gumshield, sucking in breath, 4...5...6... Groaning as she pushes up onto her haunches, 7...8... Cheeks are red as she holds her stomach, 9....10 it's all over!

Winner Brenda Song KO Round 5

After:
Jumping for joy, Brenda is beyond happy she is back in the winners circle after having a rough time of things lately, she rushes over to her corner to hug her coach, some pundits wishing Brenda seemed as dedicated to most of her fights, she looks in great shape physically and her skills in this fight.

Mikie meanwhile is given an ice pack on her stomach, she hisses for a moment till the pack begins to have it's desired effect, Mikie fighting back tears, taking in deep breaths to get her body back under her control, shaking her head in disbelief that she is now zero for three in the FCBA.

Soon getting to her feet with help from Miyada, Mikie is helped out the ring, not even bothering to get her gloves off, she just wants to be away as the former BBU flyweight champion is struggling under the spotlight right now, Revolution Boxing must be wondering if she was worth the money to pry her out of the Front Street Japan stable.

While after getting her gloves taken off, Brenda is all smiles as she walks to the center of the ring, bouncing on her toes as she gets her right arm raised, shouting "woo!" As she raises her other arm up too, smiling warmly to the crowd as they cheer her.

Giving a high five to her coach, Brenda looks like a weight has been lifted off her shoulders, getting the important win to get back on track, she steps out the ring soon enough, excitedly chatting to her coach as they walk to the back, maybe seeing this as the start of a run back to the top end of the rankings.
