3. Luisana Lopilato vs Katheryn Winnick

BEFORE:
At the press conference earlier, Luisana Lopilato is seated at the podium and facing a crowd of reporters and cameras. She speaks into the microphone, projecting her voice confidently and clearly, a far cry for the usually reserved Vixen.

"I'm here to win," Luisa says, with a nod. "and I'm not just talking about winning the fight. I'm talking about winning the war. The VIXENs are going to take down the Dollhouse, and it starts with me winning this fight and us pulling ahead. "

There's a murmur of excitement from the crowd, and several reporters shout out questions. They're eager to ask how the Vixen plans to back up her words with actions, given how Winnick is known to be such a powerhouse, recently KO-ing Sarah Shahi on the beach just a few days ago.

"How do you plan on defeating Katheryn Winnick?" one of them presses. "Are you worried about her power?"

But Luisana smiles. "I've watched her fights, and I know what she's capable of. But I think I'm faster, move smarter, and I'm going to hit harder. She may be older, but that just means she's slower. And when she's slow, she's vulnerable. I'm going to knock her out by the end of the night, plain and simple."

The reporters jot down notes, and several of them murmur amongst themselves, clearly impressed by Luisana's bravado.

Another reporter chimes in. "But Katheryn Winnick is known for her power shots. How do you plan on defending against that?"

Luisana leans forward, ignoring the glare and shake of the head from Winnick across the room. "I'm not just a pretty face," Luisa says. "I know how to block, I know how to counterpunch, and I know how to take a hit. But Kat's not going to land any power shots on me. I'm going to be too fast for her. She's going to swing and miss, and then I'm going to hit her where it hurts."

“I’ve watched Luisana fight, I watched a lot of her these last 2 weeks. She’s impressive, and I think her record speaks for itself. But to be perfectly honest, I think I’m tougher and I KNOW I hit harder. So we’ll have to see how she deals with that. I’m coming off a recent win against Shahi and I’m feeling good about tonight. I’m confident this fight is mine to lose. So, I plan to bring home the point for my team and end Luisana’s little 3 fight winning streak. It’s going to be a great night!”

The announcer calls both fighters to the stage for the traditional pre-fight stare down. Luisana Lopilato strides confidently to the center of the stage, her blonde hair flowing over her shoulders as she locks eyes with Katheryn Winnick. Winnick, a veteran Doll by this point of her career, doesn't flinch one bit as she approaches Lopilato, her jaw set in determination.

The two fighters come face to face, their eyes locked in a fierce gaze. Lopilato stares intently at Winnick, a small smirk playing across her lips as she sizes up her opponent. Winnick, in turn, looks unimpressed by Lopilato's bravado, her gaze steady and unwavering.

As the stare down comes to an end, Winnick is the one who extends her right hand for a handshake, but Luisana chooses to completely ignore it, turning about and marching back to her corner, but not without triggering loud gasps from the audience, and an eye roll from the Doll to boot.

Hours later, as the arena fills with fans eagerly anticipating the fight, Luisana and Katheryn enter the ring from opposite corners. Luisana wears a red and white VIXENs robe with matching shorts and boxing gloves, while Katheryn is dressed in a black and white sports bra and tights.

In the ring, the referee checks each fighter's gloves and mouthguard, and they bump gloves a little too hard in a show of mock sportsmanship. Luisana's corner gives her some last-minute advice on countering Katheryn's power shots and focusing on her own speed and agility, while Katheryn's corner encourages her to use her strength to wear Luisana down.

There’s the opening bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Luisana kicks things off with that same sense of bravado, circling around Katheryn's periphery, trying to find openings in her defense with early jab combos. Katheryn, on the other hand, takes the center of the ring easily and starts to throw heavy shots back, both to the other blonde's body and her head. Luisana is able to block and evade most of these, but she's not able to withstand those that do manage to land... Katheryn's power shots are starting to take their toll on Luisana, who’s getting backed up towards the ropes too early in this fight! As the round progresses, Katheryn continues to press in, lunging at Lopilato's toned abs before plugging uppercut swings into the center of the arms in stern displays of power. Luisana tries to counter in the final seconds, after getting rocked this way and that, but Katheryn is able to slip past most of her punches and keep the pressure on. At the bell, it's clear that Katheryn has won the round on points, with her aggressive style and powerful punches dominating the action. Luisana looks a bit frustrated as she heads back to her corner, knowing that she'll need to make more than just some adjustments to win the next round.

ROUND 2:
Bell rings and Luisana tries again, storming out of her corner with a renewed sense of confidence and aggression. Some would say it’s a false of bravado, but tell that to the Vixen, who lands an early left-right combo to Katheryn's nose, causing her to stumble back. Luisana follows up with a powerful cross that squeezes in between the arms to crunch into Katheryn's chin next, and the Doll tries to counter with her own combination of swings, which Luisana expertly weaves about, her head getting danger close at times. As the round progresses, Luisana's counter-punching skills become more apparent, however, expertly dodging another of Kat’s wild hooks overhead, before slipping to the side and banging off Winnick’s sides. Her punches are intended to wear the big blonde down, with each hit landing with more force than the last. By the end of the round, Katheryn has no choice but to go on the defensive, trying her best to keep Luisana at bay.

ROUND 3:
Invigorated by her earlier success, Luisana marches out of the gate with even more energy and aggression! She looks like a different fighter from the previous two rounds, pushing the pace and forcing Winnick on the defensive again when a flurry landed to her cheek and chin. Kat’s trying to turtle and counterpunch, but is still struggling to find her rhythm, with the Vixen digging leather into her sides and even scoring off a hook to the temple, causing her to grunt. Second half and Winnick’s corner urges her to charge in, but her powerful hooks aren’t making any purchase either, with Luisana continuing to move and slip around the ring with ease, making it difficult for Katheryn to pin her down and land any significant blows. Towards the end of the round, Luisana starts to really turn up the pressure. She lands a powerful cross to the mouth that seems to stun Katheryn, followed by a quick flurry of punches to the body to back her up towards the ropes. By the time the bell rings, Katheryn looks visibly fatigued, whilst Luisana takes the round wide for the second time in a row!

ROUND 4:
But here comes Kat Winnick, fire in her eyes and no more playing nice Doll! Big blonde lands a powerful right cross to Luisana's jaw in the very opening seconds of the round, which snaps her head back and elicits a surprised gasp from the crowd! Luisana tries to immediately counter with a left hook, but it’s a desperate plea to keep her foe off her, and Katheryn blocks it with ease before landing another strong thud to the body. Luisana seems to be struggling all of a sudden, with Katheryn's power shots suddenly finding their mark. Vixen tries to use her counterpunching to defend herself and get away, but Katheryn is relentless, flinging punches at her arms without giving much reprieve. As the round ends, Katheryn starts to mix things up, throwing a series of jabs and uppercuts high and low to catch Luisana off guard. Lopilato staggers backwards after a nasty shot almost sends her arms flying in different directions, allowing Katheryn to press the attack, landing another hard hook to the temple that sends the blonde reeling into the ropes, slack-jawed and breathing hard. Bell rings soon after, and Kat has certainly redeemed her honor, raising an arm high and signaling her intent to keep fighting!

ROUND 5:
Cautious start of the bell, as neither girl wants to risk their lead at this point. Luisana starts off with a series of jabs to the face, using her longer reach to keep Katheryn at bay. Katheryn tries to close the distance all of a sudden, surprise the leaner woman and hammer her with power shots, but Luisana's footwork is still too quick, and the Vixen manages to dodge most of them. Instead, Lopilato’s tossing counter-shots to Winnick’s body, especially when the Doll has swung too hard and wild, throwing her momentarily off balance. VIX corner is certainly sticking to their overall strategy, encouraging Lopilato to only land clean shots on the Doll’s cheek and sides when the coast is clear. By the bell, Kat looks tired and beaten, breathing hard and nursing several pink welts off her body and cheek, and cursing herself for thinking her opponent was about ready to go down.

ROUND 6:
The sixth round begins and surprisingly, both fighters come out swinging! Luisana is looking to continue her momentum from the previous rounds, while Katheryn is determined to turn the tide in her favor. The two blondes meet in the center in a CLASH of lefts and rights stuck into faces, before Kat automatically defaults to her patented power hooks to get the job done once and for all! Luisa realizes that she’s perhaps bitten off more than she can chew, looking wide-eyed as one of Winnick’s hooks hammers her clean to the side of the head, and throwing her off balance with a loud grunt. Suddenly, the Vixen is opting to back out of the deal, but is it too late?!? Kat smells weakness and RUSHES HER DOWN, hounding the Vixen to either side of her head with hooks and straight crosses pounding in, catching Lopilato with another overhand straight to the chin before another swift hook CATCHES HER ON THE CHIN!!. Luisana's head snaps back, her eyes shut and legs wobbling beneath her! She stumbles for a sec before CRASHING down to her side, both arms splayed above her head, and the only movements being the slow and rise and fall of her chest! The referee doesn’t even bother with the ten-count, immediately waving his arms overhead to call off this fight! It’s OVER in COLD-KO fashion!!

Official Decision: Katheryn Winnick defeats Luisana Lopilato via KO6!

AFTER:
Katheryn steady in her triumph, grinning wide and holding an even steadier arm high in the air. Despite being a good decade older than her opponent tonight, the Doll looks like she’s still capable of going another ten rounds if needed. Such is the power and potential of the blonde, who might be looking for a championship opportunity after so many dominant victories in such quick succession.

Luisana is still sprawled on the canvas, being tended to by the medics. Later on, she manages to glance up at her opponent in semi-disbelief. She talked a big game earlier tonight, but ultimately failed to back it up.

Lopilato looks close to tears when Katheryn walks over and offers her a hand up. Luisana considers the offer for a good, long moment, before accepting, allowing herself to get pulled up by the strong woman.

No hard feelings is the name of the game, despite the earlier show of disrespect. Katheryn is definitely a class act compared to some of her other stablemates on tonight’s card. And why wouldn’t she be, having scored another big win on this stable war card!
