VIXENs vs. The Dollhouse Stable War 2023

1. Nell Tiger Free vs Maddie Ziegler

Nell:

Maddie:
(20, 5’5, 12:4 FCBA, The Dollhouse)

BEFORE:
"This fight is very important for me for two reasons,” Maddie says from the press table. “I… unfortunately lost my last fight and I can't really allow myself to lose again. I'm way too competitive. I haven't lost twice in a row until now and I wanna keep it that way. The other reason is that I don't want to let my team down. I'm not going to. I'll do my part and get us the point. Nell and I have a good matchup and she's pretty good from what I've seen, so we'll see how long she can hang with me."

Nell enjoying the early festivities but wincing slightly at that last jab, and can’t help but jab back:

“This is coming from a girl who lost to Cicchino?” Nell says with a smile. “If Maddie couldn’t beat her, what makes her think she can handle me? I’ve had more fights than her this year, and more experience overall. So this will be a good match-up.”

Surprising levels of respect in this opening salvo between these competitive stables, as both blondes square up at the podium. Three years apart but other than that, both fighters are the same height and build. They respectfully touch gloves on stage after posing for the face-down, before turning to the cameras with big smiles.

Hours later, Nell and Maddie make last minute preparations at opposite ends of the ring. In the front row of the Staples Arena, other participants from both stables are eyeing each other nervously. It’s never a friendly encounter whenever two alpha stables meet, with the atmosphere one spark away from an all-out brawl.

Specifically, Hannah Ferguson and Nina Agdal making their presence known as enforcers, entirely conscious of the Dollhouse not fielding too many Light and Welterweights, and hoping their size will prevent any unexpected ambushes. On the other side of the aisle, we have Hayley Williams and Lauren Mayberry who are also not in competition tonight but eager to support their fellow Dolls.

In one corner Nell’s in a plain white blouse crop top and dark denim shorts, wearing black gloves for this contest. Maddie’s in a sky blue sports bra and white short tights, her blonde hair in a bun, waving white gloves high to her fans. It’s the opening salvo of this stable war, one that may be the start of many more to come!

Referee signals for the bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
Immediately, Nell and Maddie come out of their corners, circling with energy, with the roar of the crowds at their backs. It’s Nell who lunges first with a quick jab, but Maddie ducks and weaves out of the way, and keeps her composure. Maddie responds with a left hook outta nowhere, but Nell slips around it and lands the first damage of the fight: a sharp right hook that catches Maddie to her midsection. Maddie backs away, wincing slightly, and that gives Nell the liberty to push in, surprising aggression as she pummels Maddie’s arms and sides with more jabs and hooks. Maddie tries to counter once in a while with a quick jab combo to the face, but Nell blocks it and squeezes in a hard cross to the chin that sends Maddie stumbling backward in the last minute. Despite Maddie's best efforts in this opening, Nell dominates with her quicker footwork and precise punching, taking it by a wide margin.

ROUND 2:
Start of the second and Maddie charges forward with a series of powerful jabs and hooks that force Nell immediately onto her back foot. The Doll got a talking to in between rounds, and must be feeling the heat to have conceded the opening round of this stable war. Here, she makes up for it with gusto, Maddie suddenly driving Nell back with each and every punch. Nell tries to counter with her own jabs to the Doll’s face, but Maddie always comes back with double the amount, winning each exchange in the first two minutes. Maddie slams another right cross right between the eyes that sends Nell reeling, quickly following up with another left-right thump-thump combination to Nell’s body. Nell is driven to the ropes too early, as Maddie continues to wail on her until the bell rings. Maddie takes control of the fight, setting the stage for an intense third round.

ROUND 3:
And both blondes come out swinging! Nell moves in quickly, her footwork light and nimble, while Maddie takes a more measured approach, more confident as ever about her chances going forth. Nell throws quick jabs from a distance, making Maddie miss with her own counters. Maddie seems to be biding her time, looking for an opening. Suddenly, the Doll explodes forward with a lunge and body hook, forcing Nell to cover up haphazardly as the power-shots bang off her arm and ribs. Nell gets pushed towards the ropes again, trying to counter with jabs, but Maddie blocks them well before tossing a hard hook that bangs off the side of the arms again. Second half and Nell has regained her composure, moving and weaving about, landing left taps and right hands driven straight into Maddie's face to spoil her party. Maddie tries to close the distance and brawl again, but Nell is still too quick for her. End of the round and Tiger Free steals it by the bell!

ROUND 4:
Maddie seems more focused now, stepping up her game with even more aggression. She clearly doesn’t respect Nell or see her as a threat, firing a steady stream of punches at Nell’s face to kick off the action. Nell winces as some hard shots hit the body, before a sudden right cross slips in and bangs off the top of her forehead. Nell looks dazed, but tries to retaliate hoping to scare Maddie off with a big swing. But Maddie weaves quickly out of the way, and the two girls engage in tit-for-tat bashing action, fists pounding into their faces for a good ten seconds. It’s Nell who breaks first, creating some distance with her footwork, but Maddie is relentlessly following her across the ring, landing more powerful hooks to the Vixen’s body and leaving her gasping for air in the final seconds with all that tummy scrapping! Maddie edges out the win, and clearly is driving the action!

ROUND 5:
Round 5 and Maddie comes out strong, spurred on by her prior success! The Doll throws several punches in bunches, forcing Nell to cover up her head and body or risk eating leather. Nell seems to be tiring, moving away more sluggishly, and barely hitting back, as Maddie pushes up against her on the ropes and buries a series of heavy blows to her sides, bending her over with several grunts. Nell clinches up, lips parted, looking like she’s in trouble… A return jam to the jawline seems to turn the tides, with Maddie letting out a shout of her own pain, her head turned to one side. But the Doll’s entirely vicious, coming right back with a hook of her own across the Vixen’s jaw, sending her REELING to one side!! And it’s all Maddie’s show!! The Doll sinks her teeth in and slams solid shots into either side of Tiger Free’s head! Nell’s looking more and more dazed, till an uppercut to the chin sends her collapsing into the ropes!! The Vixen’s eyes ROLL back in her head, and she CRUMPLES to the canvas! The crowd gasps in shock as the referee rushes over to administer the 10-count, but it's clear that Nell is knocked out COLD, having collapsed onto her side and is barely moving! It’s a devastating KNOCKOUT by Maddie Ziegler, scoring the first win of this stable war for the Dollhouse!

Official Decision: Maddie Ziegler defeats Nell Tiger Free via KO5!

AFTER:
And Ziegler is back on the horse after last month’s setback against Cicchino with another impressive win over a talented young opponent and Maddie improves her record to 3-1 for the year. The rising Dollhouse star only needed 5 rounds to send Nell packing and looks like she could go another 10 if she needed to, smiling wide and waving to the fans as her hand is raised by the ref before taking a victory lap around the ring as Nell is being attended to by her team.

The ’Mad-Dog’ does her part in putting her stable on the scoreboard tonight and the Dollhouse goes 1-0 to start tonight’s war.

Shortly after, Maddie is interviewed about the fight on her way out of the ring.

“I knew Nell was a real danger. Her record is pretty good. But I also knew I had the athletic advantage and could outbox her. I think I controlled most of the fight and that was our plan. I’m just happy it worked out. I hope Nell is alright, and props to her. But yeah, I got us the point!”

The blonde smiles and waves to the fans one last time before exiting the ring followed by her team, making her way up the aisle to loud cheers. She’s done her part, let’s see if her stablemates can keep the momentum up!
