2. Alyssa Lynch vs Madelaine Petsch

Alyssa:

BEFORE:
“Everyone’s saying I’m spent goods,” Alyssa says with a scoff from the press table. The Vixen went down in a humiliating 0-3 match-up against Samara Weaving, with the pundits already predicting a downhill slide for the brunette. “But I’m NOT done. Not by a long shot, as Madelaine is going to find out tonight.”

Alyssa shakes her head, which only adds to Madelaine’s own sense of security from across the table. The recent Queens of Absolution hiree looks smug in her corner despite having five fights and only one win under her belt.

“Alyssa’s the perfect opponent for me, and the easiest way for the Queens to move ahead in the scoreboards,” Madelaine says with a wide grin from her slot at the table. “I’ve watched some of Lynch’s last fights, and let’s say I wasn’t too impressed, typically of that last fight with Weaving.” Petsch shakes her head as well, while smirking, before she continues. “I’m gonna destroy you, Lyssa.”

Girls come face-to-face at the podium and it’s a tense affair, as you can imagine, with neither woman willing to back down and both continuing to spew insults straight to the face. Alyssa with the two inches of a height advantage, but Petsch looks stockier with her hands firmly placed on her hips. Thankfully, the fight officials quickly separate the pair, sending brunette and redhead back to their separate corners.

Fight night and both girls are ready to go in their respective corners. Lynch has more on her shoulders this time, with the Vixens already down 0-1 with Nell’s earlier, unfortunate loss. She’s wearing an orange sports bra and short white boxing trunks, and a pair of green gloves. Opposite from her is Petsch, pacing excitedly as well in a white sports bra and green boxing trunks. She’s wearing black gloves for this contest.

Referee signals for the bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Madelaine employs her power early, stunning Lyssa to the arms and body whenever she gets near, and Lynch is doing her best to run rings around the redhead, jabbing continuously at her head in the hopes of an early stunner. Madelaine’s taking those unforced shots to her face, too focused on blasting away at the Vixen’s undercarriage, allowing Alyssa to tag her repeatedly on her cheek and chin. That is, until Petsch lands a clean blow to the side of the chin, another hook driven high and to the temple, which also dazzles Alyssa enough to make her back off. Lynch loses out in the final minute, getting chased back and across the ring from an overeager Maddy. Wide round to the Queen at the bell, presaging another bad round for the VIX team.

ROUND 2:
Lynch battles back, however, keeping a light stance and faster evasive manoeuvres. Petsch having trouble catching the brunette with her wide swings, missing over head as Alyssa swerves and remains nimble. Petsch takes damage instead as Alyssa’s jab-straight combos land cleanly to the middle of her face, earning several grunts with each shove of the head back. Madelaine rubs her nose with a scowl as another one-two from the Vixen hits hard, stopping her in her tracks. Lynch gesturing rudely, with a grin, before scoring another combination off the redhead’s body seconds later. Petsch needs to work on that defensive line of hers going forward, or risk getting overwhelmed with punches.

ROUND 3:
Lynch continues the fast dance, not giving Madelaine much room to breathe. Petsch finds herself getting walked back towards the ropes, her guard raised high and then lowered, trying to keep up with Lynch’s speed. The Vixen’s certainly feeling confident about a win here, and is pressing inwards a little too early. Second minute and Petsch comes alive, paying her back with strapping hooks to the side of the head, then working the ribcage and belly with low swings with her head low. Lynch grunting, trying to recalibrate, but she’s forced to retreat when Madelaine just doesn’t let up. At the bell, it’s a close round for the Vixen due to her earlier dominance, though that lead is still in danger of getting tossed to the wind.

ROUND 4:
AND HERE COMES MADDY, a sudden charge forward to surprise the Vixen, who ducks and swerves to avoid an early overhand swung towards her face, not so lucky with the follow-up attacks! Madelaine pounds away at her body, then slams those nasty hooks into either side of her guard, Alyssa not getting away in time and is forced to eat those shots and risk getting trapped against the ropes! Lynch initiates the clinch, which buys her a few more seconds, but it’s really all she needs to get the separation from the referee, then scoot away almost scot-free when the bell resumes. Madelaine’s seething, still trying to chase her foe down, but is clearly tiring as well. Lynch earns her keep in the final seconds, back to tagging the newcomer off the head with long-ranged jabs. It ain’t enough to turn the tide, though.

ROUND 5:
Alyssa tries to capitalize on the redhead’s tiredness, responding to the earlier charge with one of her own! Madelaine swings back at her head with a kneejerk reaction, which misses, and is forced to take a zinger of a shot across the chin, which dazzles her and forces her back. Petsch taking a barrage of jab combos all over the arms and body, Lynch trying to overwhelm her with quantity and firepower. But the redhead bends low and keeps her vulnerable chin hidden behind her gloves, responds in kind with strapping shots to the ribs and lower torso, giving Lynch pause as several gasps escape her lips. Ladies are forced to reset at a safer distance, Maddy still trying to lunge at Lyssa from afar, but that overhand of hers is clearly tiring.

ROUND 6:
Madelaine’s still storming in as if the fate of the world depends on it! She shocks Alyssa with an early cross to the stomach, then tries wrangling her off her feet with follow-up blasts to the head! Alyssa trying to survive the onslaught, protecting her own faculties with both hands up and keeping a firm pace backwards. Petsch actually hammers her all the way back to the ropes, and with nowhere left to go, Lynch gets hammered some more on both sides of the head, before a big hook to the ear sends her reeling!! THERE SHE GOES, Lynch stumbling for a few steps before COLLAPSING down to her knees! Petsch’s power on display here, as the Queens take another KNOCKDOWN of the evening! Could this be it?!

VIX corner up in arms and pulling out their hair, as Kate Beckinsale bangs on the apron, ordering Lynch to get the f*ck back up. Lynch complying, though it’s not clear whether she’s just following instructions or she really wants payback against Petsch. The Vixen recovers by the count of 8, and nods to the referee to continue. It looks like we’re heading into the final quarter of this fight!

ROUND 7:
Petsch is still grinning from ear-to-ear as the next round begins, confident about her ability to finish this. Lynch not giving her the opportunity, however, weaving and staying focused, then scoring off the face to keep her away. Madelaine’s getting frustrated again, thought Lynch would go down faster, but instead is eating shots to her lips and forehead. Lynch punishing the Queen with weaves down and to the side, then fists thumping at the waistline, beating Petsch back! Madelaine is trying to stem the tide with bigger swings to the Vixen’s head, but Lynch just ain’t biting, hitting another hook to the head to stun the Queen into the ropes! Madelaine’s in trouble, getting hounded to her head hidden behind her arms, getting POPPED off to the side before a big uppercut STUNS her to the chin! AND DOWN SHE GOES, Lynch flooring the Queen to earn a stunning KNOCKDOWN in third minute! Petsch simply melts against the ropes, her mouth hanging open and her head titled to the side! Referee shouts the obligatory count overhead, but this Queen is the first casualty of the stable war! It’s OVER!

Official Decision: Alyssa Lynch defeats Madelaine Petsch via KO7!

AFTER:
Lynch roars in victory, mounting the second turnbuckle and then beating her chest with her glove, enjoying the comeback win!

“It’s gonna be an early night for these so-called ‘Queens’,” Lynch says with a cocky nod and grin, eyeing Madelaine still turning over by the ropes on the other side of the ring. “These newcomers are gonna BOW DOWN!”

Meanwhile, Madelaine Petsch has to spend a couple more seconds collecting herself by the ropes, glaring daggers at the VIX team opposite the ring. Something tells us this sh*t ain’t over, despite the fight being as such!
