5. Hannah Ferguson vs Diletta Leotta II

Hannah:

BEFORE:
And we’ve come to it at last! The finale of tonight’s stable war. SPOILER ALERT: the Vixens and IBB teams are dead even at two wins apiece, and this stable war is to be settled in the ring by two Welterweight fighters who already have beef with each other.

“Diletta caught me off-guard last time we fought,” Hannah says with a dismissive hand earlier during the press conference. “I won’t make the same mistake of underestimating her this time, especially when I’ve got bigger fish to fry, like Brooklyn freakin’ Decker.”

Diletta smiles back confidently from the other side of the press table. She came in as the clear underdog in their previous contest, but after having found that first encounter in upset fashion, the IBB starlet is set to repeat the feat at the climax of this stable war.

“I don’t think Hannah should be underestimating me again,” Diletta says with a nod and smile. “I already beat her once, and she may say that it was all luck, but she’s the one making excuses. Like Khalifa beat Lynch earlier in the night, I will win this fight again, and secure the win for my stable.”

Ladies stride right up to each other’s face later on, chins upturned and posing with fists cocked to the other’s cheek and tummy. Hannah with a small height advantage but both fighters are more or less equal in size and build, with Ferguson of course still coming in as the favorite due to her greater experience.

Fighters don’t give each other the time of day even later in the ring, with Hannah striding to her corner and making final stretches in an amber bikini top and white boxing trunks, with red gloves on either hand. Diletta in the other corner, looking serene in a black bikini and white gloves. There’s the referee’s hand and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Welterweight action!

ROUND 1:
Diletta scores aplenty early on, firing shots into Hannah’s face to put the other alpha blonde on notice. Diletta is just two years older but moving hard and fast, pestering Hannah with short, snappy bursts forward, before Hannah’s complacency forces her to cover up and block the bigger, more powerful blasts that come after. Hannah finally stays away in the second half, exchanging fire with the busty Italian girl, but can’t quite make up for the first half of her losses. Bell rings and Ferguson manages to hold her own, landing a final hook off the arms before Leotta rallies at the other end of the ring. Wide round to Diletta, who knows it, pumping her arms on her way back to the corner.

ROUND 2:
Hannah looks more serious here, parrying shots as they come in, before tagging the Italian girl back on the face for payback. Diletta overeager, letting these sink into her face with a grunt or two, then swinging back to brawl with the alpha Vixen. Hannah takes some of these counter shots across the chin or off the forehead, but then swerving out of the way of more wild attacks, as the Italian blows off steam and tries to surge ahead in terms of points, to little success. Hannah has the weight of the stable war on her shoulders, as does Diletta, but neither girl really cares at this point, more concerned with lighting the other woman’s face up with leather. Hannah ends the round with her jabbing hand fully extended, still tagging the IBB girl on her nose and lips, though she’s still in danger of getting blasted out of the water if Diletta manages to land one of those power hooks.

ROUND 3:
AND HANNAH GETS CAUGHT by a right hook across the chin!! First minute was your standard affair, with both women circling and trading blows from a fair distance. Though the second minute saw Hannah crunch a straight hand into the nostrils, the Vixen attempted to follow up with a sudden rush inwards and more flurries powered into the Italian’s body and chest. Bad idea! Diletta bracing herself and then swiping a right hook of her own across the other blonde’s face, sending Hannah reeling backwards in shock! LEOTTA RUSHES IN to try and finish, batting at Hannah’s head on either side, tossing her about with force, till Ferguson bounces off the nearby ropes and gets FLOORED by a final right hand to the temple, throwing her DOWN to the canvas!! It’s an early KNOCKDOWN for Diletta Leotta, and another reminiscent scene from their last encounter! Hannah, however, makes it back up by the count of 7, giving the VIX corner quite a scare indeed!

ROUND 4:
Diletta continues to dominate, recently falling to Robyn Lawley and Big Red herself, but still boasting about this feather in her cap that is knocking out Hannah Ferguson in eight rounds back in April. She storms in and pressures Hannah backwards once more, shooting combos into her arms and headhunting like this might be the final round where she ends things. Hannah, for the most part, in panic and survival mode, keeps her arms firmly over her face, her body taking multiple lefts and rights, but each time manages to scoot away to avoid the last hook sent towards her head. Hannah keeps her cool and stays afloat, but at the expense of not scoring any points for herself this round.

ROUND 5:
Diletta keeps up the pressure, but is finding her advantage being whittled away by Ferguson’s equal aggression, at least early on. Hannah meets the blonde with a shout and surprise overhand to the arms, throwing her on the defensive from the opening bell, then swerves deftly to avoid one of Diletta’s hooks thrown upwards at her face. Ferguson back in fighting form, it appears, weaving with fluidity and grace before bashing her own gloves off the body and arms, to keep pressuring Diletta back towards the ropes. Leotta is in trouble for a sec, but then manages to duck under another flying hook towards her head, hammering her own combo swiftly into Hannah’s ribs and tummy, now forcing the Vixen into a retreat! It looks like Ferguson might be the one in trouble all of a sudden, wincing as she covers up and scrams, the Italian model chasing her back with several more flurries sent high at the face. Overall, an equal round for both women, who each gained and lost ground throughout.

ROUND 6:
Hannah’s experience appears to win her a slight edge, however, with the Vixen staying back again and letting Diletta fall into her trap, Leotta too busy trying to blast her way in with force and awe, landing shots off the arms and then missing entirely when it comes time to hook Hannah on her face or chin. Ferguson makes the Italian pay, deftly chin-checking her from left to right, then left again, swift hooks stepped in and let rip across the IBB girl’s face. Finally, Leotta sees the light, red-faced and breathing hard, covering up as Hannah pressures her backwards in turn, and her body takes a beating from dipped crosses turned into hooks that catch her on the waistline or ribs. At the bell, Hannah seems to have fully recovered from that earlier knockdown, but the night is still young and we have four more rounds to go before a winner and winning stable might be declared!

ROUND 7:
Diletta, however, looks a little winded and busy catching her breath at the start of the seven, staying close to her corner turnbuckle and her back near the ropes, and letting Hannah dictate the pace early. Fine by Ferguson, who strides in and begins to pester Diletta with snappy jab combos sent towards her face, constantly scoring points when leather sinks into the cheek or forehead. Leotta does try to fight back later on, but Hannah just shrugs off the errant blows and responds with more attacks of her own, catching the Italian blonde with another right swing to her paunch, before blasting her backwards and into the ropes with a follow-up hook to the side of her head! Diletta just too slow and spent, goes reeling into the ropes and rebounds back, looking dazed! She tries to clinch up with the alpha Vixen, but gets knocked silly by several more short-ranged hooks to the side of the face and chin, until she’s SENT STUMBLING to the side by a final textbook hook!! AND DOWN SHE GOES!! Hannah imposing her will and shocking the Italian right back - Diletta groans, falls to all fours, shaking her head and collapsing down to the canvas, completely chewed out! Referee gives the home girl a full ten count to recover, but even with the crowd fully at her back, Leotta’s having too much trouble getting back up! He hits the end of the 10-count and has no choice but to wave off the rest of the fight, despite the loud chorus of boos! It’s OVER!

Official Decision: Hannah Ferguson defeats Diletta Leotta via KO7!

AFTER:
“Had her this time, no problem,” Hannah says with a cocky nod and smile. “What did I say before? I always learn from my mistakes, and come back better than ever. Now I can get back to beating and riding Decker.”

Diletta still looks dazed in the post-match, getting helped to her corner by the medical team and then breaking down into tears when she realized her shortfall has resulted in her team losing the stable war. But no harm, no foul, with the IBB stable still considered young and full of potential, with many more stable war contests to come!

“I thought I had her, just like last time,” Diletta gathers herself enough to speak to reporters later. “We will definitely fight a third time, and when that happens, Hannah will not be smiling any longer.”
